I started using AAO with just one of my hardware throttle controllers, a GVL. When I found that I could move the lever halfway through its travel before the assigned axis (vis AAO) in MsFS started to move, I assumed it was caused by it not having very good default calibration. I tried calibrating it first via Window's "Devices & Printers" but it didn't alter the situation. I've now started to assign my other hardware controllers via AAO as well, and I'm getting the same problem with my Honeycomb Bravo Throttle. I've made sure that they're not mapped to two physical devices at the same time. The triangles in AAO for trimming the ends of the movement and th…

Hi all, I bought AAO recently and I am starting to programme my first gauges using the XML code. Y am learning throgh reading the XML code in the gauges suplied by AAO, so my knowledge is somehow limited. I am doing a gauge that reads the ADF freq and displays it on a screen, and I have several buttons to change the individual digits. My idea is using the gauge with planes wich have no ADF (like the new B247 by wing42). The gauge also recognise if the plane has a stanby freq and in that case shows it as well. I almost finish the programming part but i found a little problem I want to fix. When there is an available STBY ADF, it also shows a button to swap both freqs…

The AAO dropdown list contains Throttles 1 to 4, but I haven't been able to map the specific un-numbered "Throttle" axis with it. I admit it's not an issue with most aircraft, but MsFs seems quite pedantic with that particular axis with certain aircraft, like their "Volocopter" and some helicopters. The Volocopter's flying height adjustment (altitude) works when assigned via the Sim itself to the "Throttle" axis, but not "Throttle 1", or via AAO's "Throttle 1". Is there another simple way to assign it with AAO that doesn't involve coding ? (I quickly get out of my depth with that !)

Is it possible to set the value of an encoder (0-127) via RPN? I know how to light up a single LED strip with the CC action, but as soon as I turn the encoder it goes back to the position and style it was in before. Reading the answer in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/65390557/set-the-led-ring-value-of-the-behringer-x-touch-mini-encoders it seems like it's possible to set the value of an encoder (and therefore the LED position directly): Any way to do this with a RPN script? Tried many combinations of ">MIDI" actions, but couldn't get any result there. Also related to this, is it possible to change the LED style (FAN, PAN, SINGLE, etc) on the f…

Hi, Everything was working perfect until I upgrade the AAO Steamdeck Plugin and the Lorbysi AAO to latest ver. Setup: - win10 / MSFS - Steamdeck XL, v5.2.1.15025 - Lorby Steamdeck plugin v9.03. - Lorby sw run as "admin" and current version is v2.28 b18. I am following the "AxisAndOhs_WebAPI_Troubleshooting" but have a quick q, when to test this wepapi port I only need to start/run Steamdeck sw and then open a web browser and run feks this command http://localhost:9080/webapi?dev=1&chn=5&btn=4 right ? (No need to run Lorby AAO yet right or ?) My P…

Is it possible to assign a button on the X-Touch mini (via AAO) to also pass rotor codes to FSX? I have found that it is possible to pass codes to FSX using the stream deck and the AAO plugin. In the AAO app you can select Rotor Break as an event but I don't see where I can also pass the required code.

AIRCRAFT - B787 in MSFS SYSTEM - Overhead, External power SETUP: I have created the profile, B787 and have created my mapping based off of BVars I found in Dev mode. The profile is active and my LVars show up in MSFS Dev Mode. I have (3) LVars: (L:AOA_B787_EXTPWR_1, number), (L:AOA_B787_EXTPWR_2, number), (L:AOA_B787_EXTPWR_3, number). LVar: (L:AOA_B787_EXTPWR_[n], number) BVar get: (B:ELECTRICAL_ExternalPower_[n], number) BVar set: (>B:ELECTRICAL_ExternalPower_[1]_Toggle) where [n] is replaced with the appropriate number RPN Script: 1 (>L:AOA_B787_EXTPWR_[n], number) System 1 script = no effect System 2 script = no…

I'm wondering if there is some solution using AaO for my idea. I've got an old mouse lying around and I'd like to use it to have more inputs, mainly interested in the rotary mousewheel input to bind it to some controls. Is it possible to distinguish the bindings from two mice connected to a computer somehow? Right now when assigning a button, the event registered by AaO is the same no matter which mouse's wheel is rotated. Maybe there is a possibility to check which device sent the input using a filter in a script? Or any other idea how to accomplish this?

Sorry, if there's a really obvious answer to this, but I've just installed the demo version of AAO with the intention of using it with the FBW A320 to integrate with an MCP that I built several years ago that uses a matrix of volt-free switches to control a number of inputs to the sim. The MCP is correctly identified by AAO and successfully controls a number of the MCP functions using the standard controls that come with installation. I decided to take this further as the standard controls don't give access to the more specific MCP functions. So I downloaded these FBW specific scripts designed for Behringer X-Touch Mini with the hope that I could utilise them…

It's probably something I've done, but.... I had the desktop gauges working nicely, but now they don't survive after the prog is closed and restarted. They're coming up in the correct position, but only as icons. I can click the reset button for each one and resize and then they work fine, until the next time I restart. (and I remembered to save the database each time as well). I had two saved layouts, and each time that I loaded them the gauges were the correct size, but then when I restarted the prog they were back to icons again. This happened with two saved layouts, one with the gauges on my main centre screen, and one on my "top" screen, ( I…

I'm using the potentiometers of an old joystick to set the elevator trim for MSFS. The axis is set up as follows: No matter which Filter strength I set, the input to the sim is jittering quite often between values since the input value from the Joystick has a far lower resolution (the value below the axis is showing very high values, but the actual resolution of the axis is somewhere around 0-512) than the value that needs to be provided to the MSFS axis. The issue I have with this is not only the jittering trim wheel in the cockpit, but also that when using the autopilot, it's interfering with the AP (e.g. on JustFlight Piper Arrow III). Is there…

G'day everyone, I just bought Axis and Ohs to use some of the amazing Stream Deck profiles on flightsim.to Problem is I can't get any of them to actually work and I hope someone can help. The A&O Interface shows it's connected to the SIm and has the correct aircraft, I've enabled the Web API (9080) and all the buttons on the Stream Deck are displaying correctly. I've tried a couple of profiles (Twin Otter and GTN 750) and nothing happens when I press the buttons on the SD. Is there something I'm missing perhaps? Many thanks Warwick

Hey Lorby! Discovered an issue when using "Adaptive" key repeat feature. Wondering your opinion on whether you think an enhancement is in order, or whether users should just be wary when using certain scripts. I have a TM Warthog throttle which has a thumb switch for speedbrakes/spoiler. In the forward position (the position you'd use to close the spoilers), the switch physically holds itself forward. When you use this script with "Adaptive" enabled: (A:SPOILERS HANDLE POSITION, Number) 0.0 > if{ (A:SPOILERS HANDLE POSITION, Number) 0.1 - } els{ 0.0 } 32767 * -16384 + (>K:AXIS_SPOILER_SET) ...leaving the spoiler switch in the c…

I am trying to configure my Logitech panels. Right now I have a question about the Hardware menu in AAO. I'm confused a bit by the options. When "Saitek panels enabled" is checked, the two buttons below that, "Ignore sim electrical power," and "Saitek panel config" are greyed out. But when "Saitek panels enabled" is unchecked, the two options below it are available. So, my question is how to configure the panels. Do I disabled the panels, to configure them, and then enable the panels to use them? Or is the logic of the "Saitek panels enabled" backwards, i.e., is it enabled when its unchecked and disabled when it's checked? I probably could figure this…

我卸载了MSFS_Plugin_x64_Software(罗技驱动),启动sim,启动AAO。

Can I get some explanation (or documentation reference) for the various options under "Add Button Assignment" and how they impact the use of switches and buttons of Logitech Panels as midi devices? When I first open the "Add Button Assignment" dialog box and start flipping switches and buttons on my switch and multi-panel, I get something like "CHN: ? EVT: ????? CLICK" for each switch or button, for both on (or pressed) or off (unpressed) states. Then, if I select "Rocker" and do the same test, I get a different behavior. I might get a "CLICK" event for the first change of a button or switch, but all of the following changes will be a "LEFT" or "RIGHT" event. If I th…

Hello, I'm not sure if this is "works as designed " or an error. When I switch the layers on my Behringer x touch and press rotary knobs always the same event is used nethertheless which layer I use. From my point of view pressing the first rotary knob layer A should be event 0 Layer B should b event 8 . Using the buttons the layer change is working. SInce the last release I see a lot of crashes during configuration or when I change the planes in FS2020. Any log I can provide to analyse what happened. thx. Reiner Mueller

After some issues with my PC I had to reinstall everything, including MSFS. After a few weeks I wanted to setup Axis and Ohs again but somehow it is not allowing me to assign any other device than keyboard. In the Hardware menu (Manage Hardware Change) my USB controllers show up as connected devices but they don't show up in the list of devices when I want to make an assignment. Am I missing something? I am using AAO 2.28 b18, and the current version of MSFS (1.24.5.0). Oh, and Windows 11.

How long should it take for AAO to collect H: and B: variables from MSFS? When I read LVARS, it just takes a few seconds, but I started reading H: and B: a long time ago, five or more minutes now, and the "Collecting H: and B: variables, please wait" prompt still appears. I have to close AAO to make the prompt go away.

I recently noted that AAO and my SD profiles are talking with each other. No flight variables are being displayed on the SD. Are there any known incompatibilities between AAO and SU-8? I just updated my AAO version to the latest, but it doesn't seem like it had any affect. I've haven't changed any of Guenseli's SD profiles that I have been using without issue for the last couple of months. Are there some specific things I could check to ensure everything is running properly? AAO seems to be connecting to the sim okay with the green LED lit. The SD profile button are simply missing all the applicable data that I was use to seeing and using. I haven't tested all…

I am looking to map Avionics 1 and 2 on Milviz Porter. the behavior dialog has no direct SIM Events listed only has 3 4 (>K:2:ELECTRICAL_BUS_TO_BUS_CONNECTION_TOGGLE) I copied this rpn to a script and script works - does toggle. But I want to use the 2-position switch on the Alpha yoke. Also in Behavior Window, the tooltip TT_VALUE shows 4·(>A:BUS·LOOKUP·INDEX,·Number)·(A:BUS·CONNECTION·ON:3,·Bool)·if{·'On' } els{ 'Off'} And the modern tooltip correctly shows on or off. But when I copy this into script the A:BUS CONNECTION always returns 0. Does AAO correctly support indexed SIM variables? Is the syntax not the same as SIM? …
