Hi there, I've installed AAO 2.29 b28 today and I've been trying for 5 hours to get a taxi light switch working on my Stream Deck using the Lorby-SI Axis and Ohs software provided on the website. Using the stream deck software I drag a new button called OnOff to a new Stream Deck Page. I select Simulator event called: #69749 under PMDG_737NGX and add that to the Write K: event with on ''1'' and of ''0''. As Read variable I used: LTS_TaxiSw as stated in the Select Simulator Variable ans set on value to 1 with repeat yes. Long press event is empty. OK I admit to being a FS inards word not allowed. But all I want to do is program reverse thrust for the Maddog using a Thrustmaster Hots throttle. The AAO documentation does not address this as far as I can see. Just stock Thrusmaster gives a reverse thrust bot but not where I want it. The Thrustmaster has a detenf where one must pull up and then reverse thrust is activated using the throttle motion allowed beyond the detent. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I am trying to make an autopilot panel for the new 737 with the StreamDeck plugin. As you can see, there is a toggle button with the lit CMD button as the ON image. However, the ON image does not show when ngx_MCP_CMDA = 1.000. This is an LVar in MSFS. Is there something I may be doing wrong? I know for a fact the plugin is connected and working. I have tried the variable as S: and simply L: (without the L: in the variable entry)

I have a problem that I will explain to you. With Lorby “Axis And Ohs” registered version, Flysimware Cessna 414 registered version and with GTN750 from PMS50 also registered. The plane displays two GT750s. When “Axis And Ohs” is launched, it is impossible to click on the first GT750. Something seems to be interfering with this one. While the second GT750 works fine. If I stop “Axis And Ohs”, both GTN750s work normally. Here is a short video to show the problem. Thank you for your help.

I have recently switched to a new PC and since then I can't figure out anymore how to assign the FLC function of the Working Title G1000 NXi via AAO. I had this working since I got AAO but I can't figure it out. There are various FLC and Speed Hold settings but... 🤷‍♂️ On top of that I was using a slightly older version of AAO where the settings were organized differently. Can anyone help me with this one? Got the Milviz 310R yesterday and I'm having an issue when trying to add buttons to Stream Deck that reference the Lvars. I'm pretty new to this so probably I'm just missing something and any help would be appreciated. I can add the standard K: events no problem on the Stream Deck and they work fine with the buttons. I tried to add both a Toggle or On/Off button for a simple on/off windshield de-ice switch for example using write event = L: and took the name from the Lvar list in AAO after I had the Lvars read from the sim. I copied the same format that worked ok for the K: event buttons filling in the send value and the A: info but it doesn't work. The on button jus…

Hi there Probably quite a basic question (sorry) but im trying to write my first script on aao but not having much luck. I'm attempting to make a SD profile for the 78X and am working on the HDG hold button. In the simulator, it sends 2 events: AP_HDG_HOLD_ON and a AP_HEADING_SLOT_INDEX_SET. I have set this so far: 0·(>K:AP_HDG_HOLD_ON) 2·(>K:AP_HEADING_SLOT_INDEX_SET) When i press the 'test' button, everything seems to send correctly; but in the events log it only sends the HDG hold event. Am i doing something wrong here? Sorry if its a simple error, i don't have an awful amount of programming knowledge other than some PHP.

Hey Oliver i wanted to ask if it is Possible to export a List of all collected LVars, would love to spend some time searching in the LVars when my Sim is currently not running. Therefore a export in a text data would be very good. Is that feature already implemented and i didn't found it (then please tell me how 🙂 ) if not would it be possible to implement it?

I am asking for everyone's help in getting this feature request seen by Elgato. It's such a simple feature, but it is desperately lacking in the streamdeck software. I have attempted to write it myself through a custom plugin even, but unfortunately, the SDK doesn't let you command a profile change to a profile that isn't part of your own plugin, which defeats the purpose. So please help out by upvoting this issue, and making sure it lands in the front page of elgato's subreddit. I can't think of another way to get the message across to them. Hi, I want to make a simple script which enables some random failures, as long as I have flipped a button on my Bravo. Below is my current script. For now I just check if a random value in the range from 0 to 1 is 0; then I pick a random action from the possible breakers (JF arrow) or simconnect failures. I bound this script to the key-down event of a toggle-switch on my Bravo, set as repeat on high interval. I do get some very strange behavior. The first time I toggle my switch 1 breaker pops, but that's it. When I then flip it off (no action) and back on, only then they all pop one after another. Hi Oliver, I've been away from the sim since Feb and a lot has changed on all sides so I really need advice. I am almost sure that when I used AAO for the elevator trim back then this trim pause after the first button press and the repetition which is built in the sim was not there in AAO. Now I assigned my trim buttons to "ELEV_TRIM_UP/DN" and the trim stops half a second before it continues. Obviously this is totally unrealistic and in reality it would even be extremely dangerous. FSUIPC for example added this behaviour to make sure that buttons only get pressed once but there is an option in their .ini file to remove it. I have searched the AAO folders but …

I have tried importing H: & L: vars into AAOs for the HypeGroup H145 Helicopter but it doesn’t find many H: vars. I know within Spad.Next there is a facility to manually add them and I have used it successfully within that application. I am considering moving some of my functions into AAOs as I own both applications but have been unable to find H: vars that work successfully with SN within AAOs. Is there a way within AAOs to manually add these H: vars? Thanks

Hi, i am rather new to AAO and i enjoy it especially in conjunction with Stream-Deck. Everything works like a charm. Now i wanted to try the text-to-speech-functions. But none of the voices does speak. Windows narrator works fine. I have windows 11 installed. Is there a certain trick to get the speech running? Hello, I made a small script for a 50ft AGL one-time call-out when landing* and set it up as an 'One Shot' Aircraft Automated Script with 400ms delay**. If set like that it seems to me that it never triggers though***. If set as 'Repeating' or when testing in the RPN editor it works correctly. I tried restarting the flight or even the sim after each attempt. I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong here or maybe what the One Shot function does exactly. It looks like import/export scripts does not include the <edition> tag for formatting scripts and including comments. This does work for exporting/importing templates, but not for scripts. Is that something which could be added in the future?

I do have 2 questions on my first gauge design: 1) Are your AAO gauges copyright proteced or can users reuse/modify them and publish on flightsim.to? 2) Does AAO support grouping of elements? This would enable a more performance friendly programming of the visible property based on groups. The general syntax of elements does enable nesting, but when i tried, it did not work or I used the wrong format.
