If I have most device switch and axis items in the In-Game control menu but want to remap a couple switches to a AAO script is it OK to share the device between In-game control map and AAO? Obviously I would not use these AAO-assigned switches in the in-game control mapping.

First of all, wow.... I was made aware of Axis & OHS by another user via a question I asked in an FS2020 facebook user group. An amazing addon, hugely improving Asobo's rather clunky way of assigning controller functions as individual "sets", and not remembering them for each aircraft. Lorby's method of enabling pre-saved controller configs as single complete sets per aircraft and then applying them automatically rectifes that FS2020 shortcoming completely, (making it as good as XP11 in that respect !) ...and then the other functionality... it only took me about 20 minutes of using the demo before I purchased the full version 🙂 So I've only just …

Hi! I installed the Axis and Ohs demo yesterday. Played around with it for a bit. All was fine. I could create desktop FIPs and web FIPs. But now I cannot open the desktop FIPs window anymore. Maybe after deleting all FIPs I had? The Web FIPs window opens up as earlier. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times without any change. All that happens when I click Gauges/Desktop FIPs is that a blank window turns up in the taskbar with the name "Display Virtual Instruments". What has happened?

dear Daniel, all as new AxisAndOhs Demo Version (2.27 b09) is out, have tried yesterday to connect my Knobster (siminnovations) to MSFS the Bridge is connecting fine to AAO main program, green light in the bridge. i can assign a button in AAO, select the required button, i turn the knobster, hardware is recognized. so far so good. see attached picture. (this was not the case with previous version, so one step further=. however there is no action in the MSFS aircraft at all ! also i see no green LED light in the main AAO program - assigned button main page when i turn the knobster. Hi! I have a few guages that I want to append certain strings to the output, but not sure if it's possible? Example guage I have is a SliderGuage showing pitch trim: ELEVATOR TRIM PCT, Percent I want to return the value for the text variable, but also have "%" appended on the guage to read "25%". is this possible?

Every now and again when I turn the knob on my Bravo or Knobster the view will inexplicably zoom in. Ive tried to remove as many keybindings as possible in the Honeycomb software, FSUIPC, & the sims control applet, but it still does it and its driving me up the wall. It doesnt seem to make a difference what aircraft I use, only that it happens when im in the virtual cockpit & with either of the knobs on the bravo, as well as the knobster. (eg If I select ALT on the bravo, then try and change the altitude on the autopilot it ocassionally ZOOMS IN OR OUT! ARGHH!!) I really like the params in RPN scripts as they make it a lot more efficient. The only thing I am missing here is the automatic checking of the script with the green and red LED in the RPN script window, which does not work if the script contains params. Would it be possible to add a scriptcommand DEBUGPARAMS like DEBUGPARAMS;L:COM1_TOGGLE;K:COM1_RADIO_SWAP which replaces then param1 with L:COM1_TOGGLE and param2 with K:COM1_RADIO_SWAP for internal testing with the green and red LED in the edit RPN script window? Another great efficiency improvement for debugging would be a script command like DEBUGVARIABLE L:COM1_TOGGLE which would automatically ad…

I'd like to let everyone know that I have recently created a new utility called "Aircraft Checklist Database Builder" (ACDB). The program is designed to simplify the creation of checklist scripts for use by AAO. I'll preface this by saying that I'm pretty sure this is a MSFS issue, but I'm hoping for a workaround if anyone knows one. Basically I have the right half of my TM Warthog throttle mapped to the Prop RPM (and Fuel Condition lever when I hold a button, open to tips on a better solution), and the left throttle axis is the regular throttle axis. On the RPM axis, it seems like for every 10% of physical travel, the RPM travels 20% in game. By the time I get to 50% travel on my throttle the RPM lever is basically at 10%, and any further back on my physical control RAPIDLY decreases the axis in game, resulting in accidental fuel/rpm cutoff. I have had the need to reinstall MSFS2020. I thought that under the previous install the above folder appeared within in the Community Folder. Not so now. It is present under the Lorbysi AAO installation. Should it be copied over to the Community Folder, or should AAO ver 2.26 be reinstalled? All my previous settings for the PMDG DC-6 have been retained. Any assistance would be appreciated. Cheers Jock

I am having a problem getting TTS checklists to work for me. I have created checklists for the K100 and placed them under D:\MyDocuments\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\Scripts\K100 If I try to run the scripts by going to "Scripts/Run script files" and then select any of the script files from that dialog box, I can't get anything to run right. The control script produces no results that I can detect, and if I try to run any of the checklist scripts I hear "please confirm" a few times and then "checklist ended." NOTE: Those of you familiar with P3D know the multiple view options available. For some reason the appropriate view command (view (pan)) eluded my tired ole’ eyes. I was using the Look commands (up, down, left, right). Changing to view commands allowed my 8-way hat to work as expected. Problem solved! PS. I understand that AAO has to be launched as an administrator. I also note that one can select it to launch automatically under its "connection" tab. I can get Stream Deck to work well with MSFS when I start AAO manually but not when I select the automatic start route, is that because the automatic route lacks administrator rights or could I be doing something else wrong perhaps?

I have just bought a Stream Deck and wanted to download Guenselis SD profiles. I started with the TBM 930 then the CJ4 but sadly the majority of buttons on my Stream Deck just display a ? mark. I was about to ask Guenseli for advice but note that on his download page he states "please contact the developer of AAO if you get a series of ? marks" so I am asking here. Hope you can advise me what I am doing wrong please.

After SU8 my loading time of AAO (last version) is very slow, about 30/40sec. Before SU8 I haven't had any kind of problem ... All the other apps on my desktop, including MSFS are working fine ... Any idea about this latency in AAO startup?

Hello I used AAO with my previous computer without any issue. I did upgraded my computer (New mother boar, GPU....)in order to put all parameter at "EXTRA" Re installed AAO but is very slow: For instance I have to press a button a few second before it detect it and the same in the selection of the command, validation.... Hello, I added a rather simple command AP_ALT_VAR_INC and DEC to my xtouch rotary knob 7 left = decrease right is increase. While using this knob ( means turning in one direction) I see in AAO that INC and Dec are permanently changing, sometimes it works when rotating very slowly, it doesn't matter in which direction the rotation goes, the function flips permanent between INC/DEC. I changed USB connector, I checked xtouch configuration, encoders are set to relative. The same happens while using AP_VS_VAR_DEC/Inc. I have a little problem with the Assigned Axis pane in AAO. The tree view isn't displaying correctly. This can be illustrated best with pictures. The first shows names that I have given to the assignments, and the second shows the tree view along with the problems I'm noticing. Notices the Flight Controls and Throttle Quad groups in the above screen shot. Now look at the resulting tree view. Note in the second screen shot that "Flight Controls are not grouped together, and that "Throttle Quad" is completely missing from the tree. This is in version 2.26 b04 - MSFS.

Hi, I'm trying to assign a X-Touch-Mini rotary switch (i.e. dail) to control the A32x steering tiller. So far no luck. I was only able to use the dails push button, to toggle the rudder pedals disconnect event. Does any one know how to assign the tiller (and if it is poosible at all)? In the MCDU I have changed the setting that the rudder pedals also control the tiller. However it is stated there that FSUIPC is required to program the tiller, so I'm not sure if/how it will be possible using the X-Touch and AAO Any advice is much appreciated, Egbert

Once upgraded to the last versions of AAO and Stream Deck PlugIn, I noticed something wrong. Some commands start to be broken. Looking at the PlugIn fields I noticed that in the "Read Variable" field of toggle object, the variable is rewritten by the the PlugIn it self like the image linked (https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmStMhJnIz5Ci7coSaPaQKWGvwM1KQ). Nothing works after refilling the field, and the "Submit" button seems unuseful. Some of the previous toggle buttons do not work anymore. Some advices? Thanks! I have updated to AAO v2.26 b04, set to run as administrator. The web API is enabled on port 6080. I have set an inbound rule for Windows Defender covering port 6080 as per the troubleshooting guide. The Knobster bridge avialable here: https://axisandohs.weebly.com/downloads.html is described as "knobstertolorbyaaobridge_v1_00_b07.zip". However when the module is downloaded and ran, it displays V1.00 b06 (c)2021 LORBY - SI. Is this just wrong description of the v.b07 or wrong module is posted on the page? I was a happy user of AAO v. 2.24b03 and Knobster bridge 1.00 b06 (version updated for forcing KeyUp event). Yesterday I updated AAO to v. 2.26 b04.
