Hi. I bought AAO mainly for the Behringer X Touch mini. I have to say that I am really happy with AAO software: I can use some templates (like A32NX, and it works really nice) that I find at flightsim dot to, and I'm doing my first steps to create my own templates. I started with Cessna CJ4 Citation and I managed to make a few buttons and knobs to work (Baro, VS, HDG and ALT knobs and buttons, FD, NAV...), but there are a couple that I couldn't get to work: VNAV button and screen map "RANGE" knob. I just started with AAO yesterday, so I'm trying to learn what I'm doing and not just going by luck. In Black Square Steam Gauge Cessna 208B, I'm trying to bind all the lights to my Honeycomb Bravo. I'm using the leftmost axis, and also the detent as a button. Put the lever in the detent, turn light off. Take it out of the detent, turn on. Let the axis go from 1-100. This part actually works fairly well, and I was really happy until I looked up at the fuel selectors, which remain dark. Alright I got my checklists going and can answer with specific words, BUT it does not work with multiple answers being acceptable. Its driving me nuts... I am trying to use a Behringer X-Touch Mini as a controller for the Garmin G1000 in MSFS 2020. One rotary knob I would like to use as the FMS knob. The thing is that the FMS knob has a lower knob (group knob I think) and an upper knob (page knob I think). The way I want to get this onto using just one knob ist to use a shift key (got this from a guy named Rottenbk in the microsoft flightsimulator forums - genius idea.) You leave an assigned button alone and turn the dial, it acts as the upper knob. Hi, I've got most of my lights setup using the buttons above the throttles on the Bravo... except the Wing Lights. All the other lights have events for off and on which makes it easy... button up is lights on, button down is lights off. Winglights only seems to have a toggle event. Is there a way to make the Bravo button (which is really two buttons 44 and 45) toggle this event? It seems if I have two entries for buttons 44 and 45 to do the same event (toggle Winglights), only one is recognized (e.g. 44) and the other is ignored (45). I think the in-sim controls can do what I want (I can assign both buttons 44 and 45 to toggle the winglights) but was hoping for a more …

I downloaded a new version of a StreamDeck profile from internet and it comes with the corresponding group of scripts for AAO. What is the correct procedure to update this script group with the new version? Do I have to delete the old version and import the new one again or the import will overwrtite the existing one, automatically adding new scripts and updating existing ones? If I have to delete the old one, would that break any existing assignments for Axis and Buttons?

Hello Lorby, i´ve noticed randomly massive FPS drops / stutter in MSFS2020 after some minutes when using axisohs v2.32 (bought version). If i close axisohs the fps drops / stutters are immediately gone and everything run smooth. After restarting the app everything will work fine some minutes till it repeats again. This happens in every plane (Fenix, MSFS standard aircrafts) Do you need any configs, logs, used scripts (msfs / axisohs ) to get an idea what can cause the drops / stutters? Informations: Win11, RTX3080, 32GB Ram, 10700k@5ghz, all drivers up to date Many thanks in advance vinKaiZen

Is there any step-by-step tutorial for making scripts for AAO in MSFS? I have read the manual, looked into existing scripts, etc. but feel still clueless. For example, where do all those various numbers, used in scripts, come from? 🙂 Apologies if I ask dumb question.

AxisandOhs was mentioned as a possible solution in the Microsoft forums on what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to control the Range dial to zoom in or zoom out of the map in the MFD panel of the G1000 NXi without using the mouse. That is, use the joystick buttons or keyboard shortcut keys instead. In previous iterations of flight simulator, this was done with the plus or minus key. Depending on the dial selected these two keys can increase or decrease values, slide up or slide down, or turn left or right control dials. I don't think it's possible in MSFS now. I'm hoping there is some other way. Can this be done with the software?

I'm trying to toggle the CJ4 passenger lights (Belt and Safety button) using AAO and can't get it to work. The following works fine in Mobiflight: (L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON) However it doesn't work in AAO. I've tried all sorts of things, including: (L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Number) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Number) (L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Bool) ! (>L:SEATBELT_LIGHT_ON, Bool) And with SIMPROC: in front as well. None of it ever causes the plane to react. What am I missing? I know it's the right simvar because I can control it via MobiFlight. Hi, i'm testing the latest version of AAO connected remotely to my PC which runs MSFS however for some reason I'm unable to forward any keyboard comands associated with joystick buttons (eg. Pause key to toggle Active Pause). I'm attaching a picture of my current config for this specific binding, any idea of what I'm doing wrong? Trying to figure out script for using my MIDI controller (Circuit Rhythm) knobs to control heading/altitude etc. I can detect TURN_LEFT and TURN_RIGHT events correctly, but the range only goes from 0 to 127. I want to use the script to reset the controller value when it reaches the end (so if the knob got to 0 send 125·(>MIDI:3:CC:1:23) which will reset it back (and leave room to start turning it another way). My question is how to I read the MIDI value into the variable, and if I have another script for checking the knob turning the other way, how do I ignore the event when I reset knob value from 0 to 125 (in the example above). Oliver, All of my HID devices are showing up in the LAAO blacklist (see below) and in the LAAO startup log. However, when trying to assign axes, for example, they are not all showing up in the drop down list (see below). I am getting some errors, pasted below before the images, but not sure what they mean. All the devices are showing up in MSFS and have cleared of all assignments. Next steps or other troubleshooting advice? Hi all. I use the Saitek throttle quadrant in A&O in MSFS. All of my aircraft act in the same way ie, when the throttle lever is fully down the engine is at idle. However, with the Black Square Steam gauge overhaul for the Analogue Caravan when the throttle lever is fully down the aircraft goes into reverse gear very quickly. Idle speed seems to be set at about half way up the throttle lever. My question is this. How can I reset the throttle lever in A&O for idle to be set with the throttle lever fully down? I have changed the little blue triangles but it did not seem to make any difference. Thanks in advvance.

Hello all, I've only got 40 years in IT and as of yet have not found a more frustrating piece of software than AAO and streamdeck. I have followed the documentation and trobleshooting guide and have not gotten AAo and Streamdeck to synch up so that The fenix can be controlled by Streamdeck. I am using the Fenix streamdeck information from Flightsim.to. It worked when I first added streamdeck but no joy now. XTouch connects with no problems yet no luck with streamdeck. I'm setting up AAO to control the Velocity One Flight yoke axes. After setting up the trim wheel in the Asobo Baron (Slider 1) I can no longer get AAO to identify the trim wheel in other aircraft. If I play around with the trim wheel too much trying to make it work, AAO will CTD. I've tried with MSFS running and Offline mode. I'm currently assigning axes for the PMDG 737. I've done pitch, roll and yaw, both throttles and spoiler. Odd thing is AAO identified the spoiler axis in the 737 as Slider 1 ??? Is that normal? I know I can assign the trim wheel axis (Slider X) inside the sim but why isn't this working in AAO?

There is an event for the AS530 called AS530_CDI_Push. It's defined in the Mobiflight events file as AS530_CDI_Push#(>K:TOGGLE_GPS_DRIVES_NAV1), but it's not in the AAO event list (either by searching, or by manually looking at the HTML-Variables list). Any ideas?

I've done a bunch of reading of the documentation, and searched the forum, but haven't yet been able to find an answer. Is it possible to create a local variable (local to AAO) and then display that value on a Stream Deck? The particular thing I'm trying to do right now is to convert the GPS ETE simvar (which is in seconds) to a formatted hour/minute/second string. I just purchased AAO for a number of uses. Since I had some Saitek panels from years ago, I decided to bring them out and give them a try. I'm currently playing with the BIP. It works as programmed (meaning the LEDs change as programmed for the default script), but I'm having issues making updates. After I've opened the editor by going to Hardware --> Saitek BIP Configuration, I selected Saitek BIP scripts-BIP default update script. It loads up just fine, and I can make a change (as a simple test, I just tried changing the LED colors). Hey there, I have two X-Touch minis, one in a horizontal position and one vertical. I've imported a template for the Fenix A320 which I want to go the horizontal one but it's going to the vertically mounted one, the only way I can get it to work is unplugging the vertical one before starting Axis and Oh's but I do not want to lose the functionally of the second unit. I've tried the Reassign controls in the current config option and managed to transfer the assignments to the X-Touch I want but unfortunately the button lights do not work any more, they would switch on if that item was on in the aircraft but not now. I picked up a Loupedeck Live (https://loupedeck.com/products/loupedeck-live/) and have been looking at using it with MSFS (or indeed P3Dv5). Given that it has 6 rotary encoders it is, in some ways, superior to a Streamdeck for sim use. I have been able to get it work with AAO as a midi controller, albeit with a few strange effects when sending the midi commands, but obviously this just scratches the surface of what the unit can be made to do. There is currently an MSFS profile for the Loupedeck out there, which works nicely with the default aircraft, but it isn't customisable beyond moving the existing buttons around (or, more accurately, my C# skills are nowhere clo…

Hello, I would like to ask for advice on how managing multiple aircrafts and templates is supposed to be done. I enjoy flying a diverse set of aircrafts which usually have a set of common controls (rudder/elevator/aileron axis, ...) and a set of unique controls (x-touch mini AP control). I really like that AAO will be able to automatically load a different configuration for each aircraft and configure all of my devices. However I have struggled to configure this to my liking.
