I started evaluating the demo version today. I have been mostly successful, although for some reason I haven't found the heading bug inc/decr bindings yet. But here's my question -- What do I assign in order to control MSFS's Active Pause? thanks, Dave

Hi Folks. I have been doing well with directly entering the Script group and name into the K: Event section. However, this three way switch has me stumped. It is used to activate the AMPS volt meter. The code works in AAO when I use the Run Script feature. I see the switch moving as it should. The Script Group has multiple scripts to operate the switch. By that I mean there is one to move Up, one to move Down and others to move up and down cyclic. I have tried various buttons from the Lorby-SI AxisAndOhs list within the Stream Deck software, however, I cannot get the switch to activate in the 3d cockpit. I have also tried using a rotary encoder but that also did not …

  3. TextGauges and SteamGauges of AAH suddenly do not work anymore (Events still work). Clicking on the gauges in the Stream Deck, the variables show white lines. When clicking on these lines, the variables are showing their content. Save changes (Submit Alt+S) does not do anything. It's a riddle to me. .

  4. I am trying to figure out the best way to complete multiple actions in a script before the next action happens. There are variable lengths for how long each action takes depending on the switch position. For example in the Leonardo MD82 I cannot simply set the light switches for instruments and flood lights to an LVAR and have the brightness level I want. The MD82 requires you send a number to a specific LVAR and a mouse click or wheel scroll happens in the cockpit. What I do is read the light switch LVAR. That tells me the position, say it reads 20. I then know the number of clicks in which direction I need to set the lights to the position I want, let's say 10 is …

  5. Started by WS-915,

Here is my scenario. I have 20 plus Assigned Buttons configured for the TBM930. I finished this up this past weekend, and everything was working perfectly. Yesterday during a flight, all was good until I landed. Upon landing none of the AAO assigned buttons were working. I could no longer zoom the range on the G1000, BARO dials no longer functioned, Softkeys on the G1000 no longer functioned. I thought maybe it was some port issue, so here is what I did to check that. 1. Closed down AAO 2. Opened the AXISANDOHS FIP PANEL with the TBM930 loaded. The border was RED. I left it open. 3. Started up AAO, it immediately loaded my TBM 930 Asobo profile and the RED b…

I am currently running through all my plane types and try to configure everything I need. Condition Lever For normal single Prop planes, I mapped "Mixture 1" to one of my axis and can move the Mixture lever fine. When I switch to a Turbo Prop (like the 208), I expected the Condition lever to move with the same axis and setting, but it does not. When not using A&O, within MSFS I only configured Mixture to that Axis and it works for both Prop and Turob Prop planes. I also can not find something remotely named Condition or Cond in the A&O Axis lists. I am sure I am missing something and this is an easy fix. Toggle Reverse In MSFS …

Hello again. In an earlier reply to me you mentioned that an SD+ could be mapped directly by using "S" and entering the relevant information into the text box. I would like to try this with the C700 Engine fuel and start buttons. However, as a beginner, I'm struggling to know what to use in the text box. I have opened the Behaviours window in FS2020 and can see all of the info for the left side fuel button (Button 1). The fuel Run/Stop buttons have an acrylic cover that needs to be opened before and closed after the button push, so it is complicated!! I have a script that I downloaded into AAO and I have it working fine, but I would like to learn to map directly…

I am looking to find out if anyone knows of a variable to track the status of the 3 PFD/MFD AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_1_SoftKey_x in the TBM930? I don't have any problem selecting the one I want with AAO and Stream Deck, but I would like to light up the one that is selected and remove the green arrow from the one that is NOT selected. I have pulled my hair out trying to find the variable for the A: Read Appreciate any info anyone can share about this. Thank You

Hi, I'm looking for some help in setting a binding for heading_bug_set that sets the heading bug to the current heading. Example, plane is flying on a 168deg heading. I want to set a button to automatically align the bug with heading 168deg. I've selected HEADING_BUG_SET as the key down event, but it defaults to 360deg. Is there a way to accomplish the above? Thank you! Marcus

In my moving msfs and other add ons to a new pc and a new drive, I was not able to save any templates of current setups for x-touch, nor am I able to access the old pc Window Desktop due to some booting issues, which left me stuck with only the new pc. Is there any way for me to copy and paste some files from the old drive so that I recover all the various x-touch programmed buttons and axis. Since it's a new pc, my hope is that I can first reinstall a&o and then copy and paste some files from the old installation using explorer. thanks. tc

  12. A little something I've picked up today that could be added at the top of the display elements for the Cessna 152: The gauges will react like in-game and shut down if the battery is OFF, if the COM or ADF volume is OFF, or Transponder mode is OFF. ADF: <Visible>(A:ELECTRICAL MASTER BATTERY, Bool) 1 == (A:ADF VOLUME:1, percent over 100) 0 > and</Visible> COM1/NAV1: <Visible>(A:ELECTRICAL MASTER BATTERY, Bool) 1 == (A:COM VOLUME:1, percent) 0 > and</Visible> COM2/NAV2: <Visible>(A:ELECTRICAL MASTER BATTERY, Bool) 1 == (A:COM VOLUME:2, percent) 0 > and</Visible> DME: (added to top …

  13. Hello! I look for binding all the special buttons (things not bindable via existing MSFS commands) in the TBM from Black Square. As i have no clue how to create these scripts I hoped someone can notify me here when he finds something like that. Currently I monitor Flightsim.to regularly if it pops up. Thank you!

... and failing miserably for the default Cessna 152. I've scoured the web and found 2 different techniques. I couldn't get either to work. I know I have syntax errors, just clueless at this point. I'm using a modified LORBY_DME gauge to try to turn on the Inner Marker light. I use the DME1 and DME2 click areas as test areas, and keep the mousescroll area active to make sure MSFS isn't freezing on me. AAO says the variable name is A:INNER MARKER, it also states that the markers are available. SDK says all 3 markers are settable: (bottom of LorbyDME_MOD.xml) <Mouse> <Area> <Area> <Position X="95" Y="70"/>…

  15. Downloaded the latest demo version -- 3.60 b32. Launched AAO. Wanting to Scripting → Read HVARs from sim without connected to sim- (according to the accompanying "Lorby 'Axis And Ohs' for Microsoft Flight Simulator Documentation" Version 3.60 - 20.09.2023); but its missing from the menu. Is this feature not available in the demo?

Hello @ll, AxisAndOhs version 3.60 build 32 has been uploaded to the shops today. The MSFS variant now uses the latest SimConnect libraries - and is thus able to utilize the MSFS input events. Input events are specific for each aircraft, and AAO will read a list of them from the sim when you load a new plane or helicopter. You will then find those events in the normal event tree list in AAO in the group "MSFS Input Events". These events also appear in the event observer window, so you can see what event is associated with a specific button or lever in the cockpit. For those who know about these things, the InputEvents are similar (if not the same) as the BVars. …

  17. AAO 3.60 b32 - MSFS licensed I know it's not an AAO bug, but I'm using this as an exercise to learn XML and MSFS gauges. The demo gauges from GW in AAO_DesktopFips_Layout_Demo_C-152.xml points to LorbyClock.xml, but LorbyClock.xml doesn't exist in default C:\Program Files\LorbyAxisAndOhs_MSFS\LorbyGauges\Gauges. But there is a GWClock.xml along with the other GW gauges in C:\Users\Papa\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files\UserGauges (no idea why GW didn't point to that one). Problem trying to use GW Clock gauge: open ClockBackground.png in 1024 folder for GW_Clock_C152 using Paintbrush to see exact size in Properties (240 x 240). edit AAO_DesktopFips_Layout…

  18. After finally getting AAO to somewhat work with Stream Deck Plus (at least they see each other).... Created a simple toggle button to toggle the Flight Director... Button on SD+ works but it doesn't in the sim. After much online searching... Discovered that the default WEBAPI ports have changed (why?).... Not reflected in the (with lastest AAO version) Change Web API address window (still on 9080)... Changed the ports to 43380... Stream Deck Plugin -> IP:localhost, Port:43380 now in black (was red when ports were set to 9080..... STILL NOT CHANGING IN SIM. Seems to me that the barrier to entry for this stuff huge. I've been simming for 20 years and …

  19. You probably already know (I didn't find a single post using VOR2 in Search), and I can't find any other place to report this, and can't see Gerdis' coordinates anywhere. G.W. gauges for Cessna 152 from AAO download site (gw_fips_aao_c-152_1_0.7z). Folder: GW_VOR2_Gauge File: GW_VOR2.xml In case this helps someone without IT skills: 1. open the file using Notepad. 2. click EDIT on menu bar, then REPLACE. 3. enter VOR1 in 1st box, VOR2 in 2nd box, click REPLACE ALL. 4. SAVE file. That's it, VOR2 gauge will now show properly when you Load the C-152 Example Cockpit gauges.

  20. Jeepers! Downloaded from Lorby site. Windows 11. Extracted to folder. Clicked on the MSFS install .exe. "This app can't run on your PC". Man alive this kinda stuff just shouldn't happen. Maybe I'll just go to SPAD.

Greetings, Where can I confirm the Streamdeck Plugin version that is being used? Thanks

  22. Hi all! Please let me declare in the first instance, that i am in no way a computer genius! I switch the computer on, i play games, i switch it off. That is the extent of my computing prowess! Lol. Anyway, its been nearly 24hrs since trying to set the 4 rotary knobs on my StreamDeck Plus to tune radio frequencies, and im no closer to achieving it. (I will eventually like to be able to do transponder codes aswell). 1. Anyone know how this can be done? Is it possible to just use an AAO variable to make the changes im looking for? 2. Can the frequency be displayed on the little indicator on the streamdeck plus screen? What I envisage is 2 knobs for the ca…

  23. Hello @ll, it has just been discovered that the new MSFS InputEvents only work properly when MSFS is running in Developer Mode. The issue has been reported to Asobo.

  24. Hello all, i need some help to setup AAO with the VRibridge correctly. I dont know how to setup it to solve my problem. My Problem is: After every restart of AAO and Bridge a new button assignment is needed for the MCP. If i reassign the buttons on the MCP after every restart of AAO, AAO and Bridge works correctly for this instance. I restart AAO without restarting Windows and MSFS2020, every time a reassign of the buttons on the MCP is needed. The event numbers are now on other buttons active. Example: I setup event 89 on AP1 on MCP, save database and after restart AAO and Bridge, event 89 is on LOC. aso. AAO and Bridge running in admin mode.…

  25. Hello @ll, my apologies, but the initial release build 31 had an unfortunate bug. It affected all RPN scripts using the "LISTEN_FOR" RPN script headers. The bug has been fixed and the app has been deployed to the shops again. SimMarket customers - please re-download the AAO app if your version says "3.60 b31" . JustFlight customers should be fine, as the bugged version has not been deployed yet. -> 3.60 b32 is the curentversion number.
