I am using xtouch and the combo function to operate NAV operations. When I first assign a specific rotary button as a "click" in the combo field, A&A recognizes it as a "button" press. However, if I try to edit an already programmed button to a new button by simply making changes to the "combo" and the "event" fields, the combo field interprets a button press as either a left or a right turn. It will not allow a "click" entry. Why? Currently, the only way for me to transfer existing rotary button functions having a combo is to initiate an "add" button operation. tc

Hello again. In my quest for more information regarding the SD+. I have discovered the SD Editor app from the main website. I have installed it and have it working. The version is 1.07 b11. The documentation refers to double clicking an action to open the Action Editor panel. When I click on a 'button/action' nothing happens. Am I misreading the information? What do I have to do to open the Action Editor. I have no intention of 'tampering'. I just wish to read the information as per the document. Regards...Kenny.

I am using Axis and Ohs with the StreamDeck plugin. I can use it successfully with a 2 position switch. Is there a technique for a switch with more than 2 positions - sav with local variable values of 1,2,3? if so can you please provide an example. Allan

I'm trying to set up my X-Touch Mini to control the Fenix autopilot commands using AAO. I've been able to create scripts that turn the knobs (Baro, Speed, Altitude, Headings, and VS) using variations of the following: 1·(>B:FNX320_Input_Knob_PushPull_E_FCU_EFIS1_BARO_Knob_Inc). I've also been able to use the following to push 1·(>B:FNX320_Input_Knob_PushPull_E_FCU_EFIS1_BARO_Push) and pull 1·(>B:FNX320_Input_Knob_PushPull_E_FCU_EFIS1_BARO_Pull) the knobs. However, when I send the command 1·(>B:FNX320_Input_Knob_PushPull_E_FCU_EFIS1_BARO_Push), the knob stays pushed in (or same thing for pulling the knob) and I have not been able to figure out how to get it to …

I bought the LorbyAxisandohs app and i have problems with 2 aircraft. The Aerosoft CRJ web fmc shows the screen, but the buttons don’t do anything. The Maddog-X web fmc has a blank screen, but buttons work well. I installed the scripts as advised. The other aircraft i have give no problems. What could be the cause of this?

Greetings! I am attempting to create scripts to enable the UFCP from DC Designs F-15 (& probably anything else that uses the Asobo FA18 avionics) in AAO, so I can interact with the UFCP with hardware. After searching and reading many threads here and elsewhere, here is where I am. From the F-15 interior.xml - <Component ID="UFCP"> <Component ID="Keypad_AP" Node="Keypad_AP"> <UseTemplate Name="ASOBO_GT_Push_Button"> <PART_ID>Keypad_AP</PART_ID> <ANIM_NAME>Keypad_AP</ANIM_NAME> <LEFT_SINGLE_CODE>(>H:A320_Neo_CDU_BTN_AP)</LEFT_SINGLE_CODE> …

Hi Folks. I'm following a YouTube video whereby I make use of the G1000 Bridge. I have an SD+ with eight buttons, so I'm already struggling as to fitting in 12 softkeys. The video makes use of a 32 button Stream Deck. I have the second PFD softkey working in that it opens the options to select Layout and Back. That's great. However, I then thought I would use the same G1000 Bridge scripts, with the softkey 11 inserted to take me 'Back' to the original 12 softkeys. However, it opens up the 'Nearest' insert window. That is what button 11 does in the PFD with the use of the mouse. Is there a way to define an SD+ button to go 'Back' to the original 12 softkeys? …

Hi, I know you've had issues in the past with the website being marked as malicious, but Kaspersky (my anti virus/firewall) flagged it for the first time today (its been a while since i've visited). I proceeded however my actual ISP has blocked it as well. Not sure if you're aware of if there's anything that can be done on your end.

I encountered an issue with configuring the tiller in AAO on the new Blackbox Shorts 330/360. I had configured all the axes using the Select Event option as recommended. I am using the twist grip on my Virpil flight stick for the tiller. The Shorts has a gust lock whereby only the tiller is operational while the lock is engaged. I discovered that the tiller does not work with the gust lock engaged when the tiller is mapped to the AXIS_TILLER_SET event. So I re-mapped the tiller to the Tiller simulator axis (top selection box in the assignment dialog), and problem solved.

I am looking for a SimVar or Sim event to bind a joystick button or a Midi button to trigger the "TICK ITEM" option in the InGame Checklists. Using the mouse to click this is bit cumbersome and tiring. Found this in the SDK. But no idea how to call these from AAO. My guess is this is possible as we can use "'SHOW_TOOLTIP|0|hello·there|1000|500'·(>L:AAO_COHERENT_TRIGGER,·String)" https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Programming_Tools/JavaScript/Coherent_Listeners/JS_LISTENER_CHECKLIST.htm Thanks.

Hi Folks. In FS2020, I use a Bravo Throttle Quadrant. I am trying to assign the DA62 FUEL CONTROL levers to two levers in the Bravo. The OFF position works fine as it is a button in the Bravo, However, although I can get the Bravo lever to set the ON position, I cannot get it to return back to the CROSSFEED. I was planning to use the detent stop in the Bravo axis lever. Is there a way to have two EVENTS on the one axis lever? One going forward to ON and one coming back to the detent for CROSSFEED. Cheers...Kenny.

While the 3.60 document references the "SPEAK" command; it only refers to the "SPEAKBLK" command by way of example. The release notes refer to adding the "SPEAKBLK" for text to voice. I'm curious what the difference is. TIA

Hi Folks. I am trying to assign the DA62 aircraft ELT switch Test event to an SD+ button. I have used the AAO Watch simulator events and I get this...[SAFETY_ELT_1]: 1 (>IE:SAFETY_ELT_1) I have also looked at Behaviours in the FS2020 and I see lots of information, including a mention of an ELT_TEST : 3. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge to decipher all of that information. I can see that it is in the SAFETY Root Components and there is an ASOBO_SAFETY_ELT_SubTemplate with 37 lines of information. I don't need to activate the ELT to ON, hopefully, 🙂. I would like to see the TEST led light up though, when I press a button in my SD+ . Any thou…

In one sim aircraft, there's a rotary switch for 6 autopilot modes. Each mode is a fixed detent point on the rotary dial. In real life, an actual 6 position rotary switch would be used. Is there a way to program a continuous rotary with A&O to simulate a 6 spst rotary switch? I don't want to use 6 discreet buttons if it can be done with a single encoder. thanks tc

I connected two different types of encoders to an Arduino Nano Board and I'm now facing similar problems with both of them: An KY40 encoder, officially supported by the AAO Arduino bridge An EC11EBB24C03 dual axis encoder, not supported by the Arduino Bridge. I successfully specified some inputs on my Arduino Nano Board for both of them, and I'm able to assign events to them. Screenshot. Unfortunately when I save these assignments they don't get "fired" afterwards on both of the encoders, when I turn my encoders or push the encoder button. So while the Assignment Dialogue catches the Inputs when I turn an encoder or push the encoder button (at least…

With the TBM 850, if I use the watch simulator events pop up window, I seem to get three items that toggle between 0 and 1 even though I am at cold and dark and not doing anything to the sim. The "auto throttle to ga", "Turbine ignition switch set1" and "heading gyro set" toggle all the time. The plane seems to fly fine but it seems strange to me. My controls in "usb game controllers" all seem solid and not spikey. Does anyone else see this or is my system "special".

just an FYI I installed the 23.02 stream deck plugin today and now the stream deck is not communicating with any of the aircraft I have setups for in MSFS. I have the 3.20 b43 version of A&O's and all run as Admin. If I roll back to the 20.02 version of the plugin everything goes back to working. Don;t know if there's any logs or configs I can send you that may help. regards Brian

As the list of programmed button increases and requires scrolling down until the last button, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep track of those buttons that have been programmed for multi functions, ie. rotaries. It would be nice if we could rearrange the way programmed buttons appear in the list.

Hello @ll, by request of the developer of the CAN Aerospace hardware, AAO has got a native interface to that technology a while back. Meanwhile, the hardware developers have implemented their website - more about CAN and what it is capable of here: https://caninsimulation.de/

Hi Lorby. There is no need to reply to this, but I just wanted to say thanks for the the time you have taken to assist me recently. I downloaded Chris' SD profile from Flightsim.to as you suggested and, after asking him a question about the crossfeed control in the 414, I suddenly had a lightbulb moment as to how the different aspects all combine. I'm now on my way to getting my SD+ working to control my cockpits. Regards...Kenny.
