Having a replay tool really changes how immersive this sim is, especially from the wing on familiar routes.

I've tried every combination of traffic and density - live/online and AI offline but just can't seem to get it to work. I *occasionally* get the odd GA aircraft but hardly ever any airliners - even though I have that density turned up to 80-100%. I've also tried various ground traffic densities and variety, generic models on/off - and at different airports: small/large, default or add-on . Sometimes - when taxiing - I get an ATC command to stop to allow some sort of [ground] traffic, but there's nothing there. I also have AI labels turned ON so I can try to track anything out there, if anything. Any voodoo out there that could bring them to life - or is it …

I read that by adding a line in the aircraft CFG file, you can have a Marshall added to an aircraft that doesn't have one. I would like to do that with the Mooney I fly all the time, but I cannot locate the aircraft.cfg for that aircraft. Anyone know where it is?

Ok so before i spend money, i need to know about a couple of things. I am using the Thrustmaster Airbus pack and FBW A320. Now i hate the whole sensitivity thing in msfs2020 when it comes to you're axis setup for the throttle quadrant. I was using the FBW Experimental version which the throttle worked great. But i moved to the Dev version because i was running into issues, and the Dev version is working well. Question is. Can i buy/use FSUIPC7 to do linier axis like in the Experimental version and do away with the fiddly silly sensitivity tweaking of msfs2020?

I'm running AMD Eyefinity with 3 monitors as one ultra wide display 5760X1080 and cant seem to eliminate blurriness esp at night. (see attached). My main issue is runway lights and other runway details remain out of focus even just at/after touch down. Anyone else have this issue with ultra wide setups?

Hi Guys, Is there anything to stop the sim going straight to the logbook as soon as I shut the engine down? It goes straight there before I have shut the plane down first...Bit unrealistic.. Dave

Folks, I have a situation: A while ago I had problems with the pixelated clouds. One of the solution was to change the config file and turn the sharpness and film grain off. I did so and the clouds looked better. But the picture itself became slightly blurry, especially small details. In the cockpit, for example, the small buttons looked a bit blurry. The trees in the slight distance were a bit blurry. Overall the sim looked well but just some small details had lack of crispness. After update the config file automatically reset to default settings, the sharpness and film grain turned on, but the blurriness remained the same. Is there any way to get that …

Does anyone know how to adjust this, its very noticable in the small prop singles, the view out the windscreen is noticeably darker than the view out the side windows regardless of orientation and external light conditions, its been apparent since release and combined with the exaggerated low sun effect at this time of year it makes landing at some grass strips in the UK extremely hard as you lose sight of the strip when below 500 ft. The aircraft in question do not have tinted front screens so their comparative darkness is entirely unrealistic

I have no POI's in the UK showing on the world map after the update, The poi's are there if I can find them, like in London, they are there! I dumped my community folder before I downloaded the update, rebooted pc etc! All of the other poi's are showing in the US and Japan. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you in advance

Any thoughts as I have been trying to use MSFS and check out the UK but runways seem to be covered in a light green almost see through grass and EGGLlooks like its a roller coaster when at the end of the runway. Not sure if it was like that before the update but man every update seems to break more and I use MSFS less and less. Any thoughts or anyone else with this crazy airport textures, all stock and Community folder is empty by the way. Thanks Shayne

Was flying the TBM 930 on visual 020 approach into PAEN-Kenai Muni and on about 5 mile final my main thread suddenly choked - went from around 30ms to 73ms. I looked in task manager and cpu load was around 28% with one core running about 70% usage, which is pretty normal, but my gpu was coasting at about 30%. After landing I went into sim settings and turned off online services and everything went back to normal. I decided to try and repeat the symptom, so took off, flew the pattern and lined up for 020 and same thing...at around 3-5 mile final the main thread got hammered. As far as I know I have only stock scenery for that area.

I installed the latest update to REX Weather Force 2020 and have back to back have gotten a CTD. I don't remember ever having a CTD in MSFS 2020. I have to believe that it is what is causing the CTD. Anyone else having this problem?

I have a significant fps increase following the recent update. At present I have every setting on High but feel I can now nudge one or two up to Ultra. Could some one please suggest which settings will give me the biggest bang for my buck?

This is purely eargasmic! and would make plane spotting in MSFS amazing! I really hope that when a proper AI traffic package gets released for MSFS, that MaVe will be able do wonders to the sounds. I am hoping that each plane will have it's unique set of sounds. I am especially looking forward to hearing the GE-90's on the 777. I love hearing and also feeling the low frequency rumble effects as the plane takes off into the distance. A pure adrenalin rush. I hope that the sound developers will have more flexibility and room to really make unique and realistic sound effects. I know it was quite limited in FSX and P3D. Hi all, I have been away from simming for like 4 months and I am coming back now. What I noticed is that the C152 Realism Mod isn't working anymore because of the patches that I've missed. So I downloaded the newest version and put it like I was used to: MSFS/Community But the plane hasn't loaded. Then I started googling the thing and I found out that it was actually supposed to be AppData/Roaming/MSFS/Packages/Community - but that hasn't worked either for me. Can you please tell me which is the correct folder? I am using the Steam version. TYVM 🙂

Hi guys, I'm looking to get as much of a physical cockpit as I can, in other words, I don't want to be clicking things with a mouse within the sim. I have the Alpha and Bravo is on the way, I'm now thinking of adding the Saitek Radio panel to the sim. Does anyone have any feedback on it? It looks great to be able to set radio frequencies, nav frequencies, squawk codes. I don't want to be playing around trying to click something while not moving my head (I have TrackIR as well). If you've used the panel in MSFS, please let me know what feedback you have! Thanks.

Just saw this today. I was on a somewhat long flight in the Longitude and my left side PFD went blank. I switched to the copilot’s view and landed normally. The next time this happened, I reset the left GEN and that brought the PFD back online. A little later, the right PFD and MFD failed so I reset the right GEN which brought them back. Needless to say, this shouldn’t be normal behavior for the aircraft. Has anyone else observed this? Unrelated to this, it appears that the FLC knob (not the button) doesn’t work. The Custom Toolbar Weather Symbol has disappeared and it is greyed out in CTB setting. What could cause this? Yesterday it was there.

I noticed on the latest changelog on the recent MS2020 update that they have fixed a bug on 'save game function' as it relates to simmconnect; does that mean we can use the save game function on FSUIPC yet? Not sure if anyone has tested this yet. Cheers for any help, Simon

Hello my fellow Canadians. I noticed there is more photogrammetry for some Canadian cities now in this update. For Vancouver, the photogrammetry was mostly limited to downtown Vancouver before this update. Now there is photogrammetry for the south of downtown. I also checked out east of downtown Vancouver and there is photogrammetry east of it too, but I don't think the photogrammetry made it up to Burnaby. For Edmonton, there has always been photogrammetry for downtown. But I noticed there is photogrammetry south of downtown, including University of Alberta. Couldn't find the other thread where we were talking about this but thinking about Sim-Wings who over the years covered all airports along the Mediterranean including Ibiza we really need that whole area covered next. If Asobo is going to do France the whole southern coastline of that country needs to be a priority. Nice, Cannes, and other areas are amazing in the real world. Then it would be right with it partially done and Spain is still lacking. The Riviera is an amazing destination. Southern Spain that connects to it is amazing then next would be Italy.
