PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

Hello, I´ve been having this problem (also in the 777) where i hear 2 different voices do the altitude callouts when landing, one after the other so one would say 50 and when it finishes the 2nd would say 50 again. It´s quite annoying and i´m sure it´s just a CDU option i should deselect (like the V1 that can be made by either the plane or the 2nd officer) but for the life of me i can´t find it. Could you help a blind man resolve this "problem"? Wildfredo Byron

Hi, lately it happens that in some flights the airplane has excessive fuel consumption. When I takeoff, I have 22000kg of estimated fuel on destination. But after taking off, that number drops 0,1kg every 4 or 5 minutes. I use PFPX, I load the winds to the legs page via the uplink, so I don´t know what could be wrong. Thanks,

Hello, ( Sorry in advance for my bad english ) Since the departure, I have a message on Eicas which displays, " IRS ALIGN mode C ": It is the first time when I receive this message, he does not prevent me from following my flight, but it is annoying. I've only recently bought P3D v4 and along with it PMDG's 747, and I've been having a blast except for one problem; I've noticed that the lighting in my VC is vastly inferior to what I can see in YouTube videos or screenshots (this is most noticeable in the light just above the PFD). I've done everything within my power to solve this, from playing around with the in game settings and then the NVidia control panel and inspector but to no avail. Any help or even an explanation would be greatly appreciated (I have not yet attached any images as I am yet to figure out how to inset images taken on my computer, but I do have them available, so any help in uploading them would a…

Not sure if this has been discovered or known yet. Fresh install of Windows 10 64, fresh install of Prepar3d V4.2, NO mod tweaks, stock .cfg's, fresh install PMDG QOTSII. Everytime I exit Prepar3d V4.2, I get a BEX64 CTD, ONLY in the QOTSII.

Hi guys, Obviously everyone has different systems, but I am assuming a lot of people here fly into EGLL with the PMDG 744. I was wondering if some might like to share the settings they use in P3D v4 to keep it smooth and still looking reasonable (e.g. what sort of autogen, AI etc.) It is one of my most dreaded airports to fly into due to performance, and often it is overcast or pretty cloudy, so with Activesky it hammers the FPS. I use the UK2000 EGLL, which I have read is pretty similar/slightly better than Aerosoft EGLL with regards to FPS. Hi, I have a slight issue with an update that while I've updated to it already,every time I open up the update centre it says that I have 1 update for the b747 v3 p3d v4 the file according to the log file is 3.00 8605 is there any way to fix this or can I set it to ignore this file? Thanks

When taxiing from stand to runway my brakes overheat eventually leading to not being able to take off. I only use taxing speed ( although the aircraft seems to continually pick up speed so I have to keep applying a small amount of braking ) - any ideas please

Hi, I've recently bought the magnificent PMDG 747 V3, on their website. When I do a long flight (for an example, Miami International Airport to Paris CDG), I often compress the time by 4 times, to spend less time in front of my computer. But after several flights, the 747 automaticaly compress the time by 4, without activating this option, on the FSX toolbar. Do you have the same kind of issue ? I'm getting CTD everytime I load 747 v3. I always load 747 directly and it's ready to fly, then I change to cold and dark, when the countdown is about 9 seconds I get CTD.

It's also worth noting that, only aircrafts equipped with older CRT screens appear to be affected. Hi all, I noticed before flight the hydraulic brake pressure gauge below the ND was in the read reading just above 300. Brakes worked fine. Still during flight it is only reading a bit over 300. No EICAS warnings anything. Anybody else seen this or is there something I'm missing? Also I've noticed you can no longer see the lights on the wings from wing views aft of the wing. Hello I updated to P3D v4.2 from v4.1 as well as update the PMDG 747-400 from Control Center Flying is fine except during descent I get wailing sound "overspeed" and displayed on EICAS. The problem is I would be at 250, 200, 190, 180 with the correct flap positions when the overspeed comes up. Even with deploying drag. Did anybody experience the same problem. Bill

G'day all, I have noticed through the various forums that some users have uninstalled the Queen followed by a fresh install. Happy to do this but I have a few questions (btw, having issues with the Queen even after loading the default F22 - no CTD as yet but problems with the viewing windows). Thought I would try this before raising a ticket. 1 After the uninstall, if I download from my account will it be the new version or the original V4.1? 2 Do I need to remove any hidden files with the uninstall before reinstalling? I've searched this forum with all and words in the title of this post and come up blank. I've also asked this question before and it was answered. In the recent update of the 747-400 on P3d I somehow lost my settings for the pop outs. I'm running a 3440 x 1440 monitor. When I pop out the 2D panels they are way too wide and too short. I had that fixed from advice provided by some kind person on this forum but for the life of me I can't find the answer again. I have set Wide-view Aspect Ratio on the graphics page and tried several resolution settings but no luck. Is there somewhere in the configuration where I can change it? Thanks for any assistance.
