My main problem is my PMDG 747 crashes when I try to load either PF3 or RC4- the fault occurs when I click to connect either programme to P3D, now this fault ONLY happens with PMDG 747 as I have tested with other aircraft and the programmes run smoothly and I do not have problems which makes me think it is a PMDG fault- if I load a default aircraft and then PMDG 747 the problem goes. I have also experienced CTD inflight also. I read that with the latest update other users are experiencing CTD and didnt know if there was theme. In the real world, is it possible to downlink a flight plan to the FMC? Or is this just a nifty feature provided to us by the guys at PMDG? Also, at what point in time during the pre-flight is the flight plan executed and the PERF INIT pages finalized? Just want to keep it real.

So the 747 had been sitting on the tarmac with engines running for about 10 to 15 minutes in sub zero temperatures (24F) with light snow in P3D v4, and the APU was off all the way from there to about 38,000 ft. Just for shits and giggles, I tried to start the APU at 38,000 ft. Well, it didn't start. I understand no QRH procedure calls for this, but...why not? Its EGT was at -42C, no N1, no N2, and oil quantity was at 0.79. I'm pretty sure other aircraft's APUs can start at 38,000 ft......right? Or is the extreme altitude the issue? As I understand it the APU is started by an electric motor, not bleed air, so this shouldn't be a problem, yes? Is there a possibility of the …

Are there any solutions to the problem of shutting simulators when running pmdg 747

Good day everyone! As IVAO starts working on compatible MTL for P3D V4, the sim and the PMDG 747 V2 become an option for me, but first i need to know if the 747-bug, where the caution light illuminates at engine start, is solved? Does that problem also occur when using "last panel state"? If the QOTSII supports "last panel state"? Thats how I manage my panel state in the NGX in FSX now and I do want to use the 747 in P3D V4 the same way. I know about the work-around with the default panel state, but that's not how I want to use an addon, whose price at release was 15$ more that the release price of the 777.

https://imgur.com/a/i3gLg So, I was retracting flaps and slats from 10 to UP, and I'm pretty sure that the slat retraction from 1 to UP doesn't take nearly 2 minutes IRL, does it? The flaps retracted on schedule. I have no failures in the PMDG > FAILURES section active.

Hi guys, i know this data is provided by Navigraph randomly, but i always try if it's available. Because of different gate info between charts and addon-scenery (in that case ZBAA data). I checked different gate data format inputs to get knowledge if just my chosen gate wasn't stored in Navigraph database or they were generally missing. I found one working, which gave out gps position reading. After that i wanted to clean this info, but it wasn't possible to find a proper way. Just installed a fresh copy of 747 QOTS into a fresh P3D V4.2 Installation. 747 request activation, says it is activated then has a dead panel on start-up. When P3V is restarted and 747 loaded ( from default scenario ), ask for activation again, accepts it and dead panel again, and again etc. Any suggestions? Lee DuBois

and then it gives me an error code: flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage - (50044,71013, 19810) (0) after I enter my activation code. I never had this happen before. I'm using P3D V4.1.

Dear PMDG, I've noticed that the PMDG 747 has quite a bit of wing drop when the aircraft is on the ground compared to the real thing, it almost looks like an elephant is standing at the wing tip and dropping the wing. I've attached two pictures, one from the real thing and one from the sim for comparison. I tried loading the aircraft with only 20t of fuel and still it looks the same as shown below. Is that meant to be like this or is something wrong with the installation? Much appreciated. Regards, Cedric

Since prp3dv4.2 update I get a "not in data base" message when i enter FAOR airport. Naphigraph Feb 2018 is installed and the latest update for the 747 This happens with the 777 aswell but not with the 737. I have never had this problem, any ideas

Hello all, I suspect this is another case of user error but I can't seem to find any references to the -400D in ops center or the livery downloader. Is this simply because none have been created or did I miss something right in front of me?

Does anyone know if a livery exists for the -400ERF in AirBridgeCargo colors? I can't see to find one. Thanks!

Hi guys, I am flying the 747 (what a great machine btw!) with the captains CDU undocked to a second monitor. (P3Dv4, Win10). Here is my problem: After several minutes (usually when I have done all my preperations and lined up on the runway) I experience frame lags about every second. That means the my frames drop e.g. from 30 to about 5-7 for a few milliseconds before going up again and this process repeats - as I said in an intervall of avout a second. To me it looks like the CPU prioritizes another task in that short time period before going back to the sim. Interestingly this immediately stops when I close the undocked CDU window and a get steady frames. I also no…

Hi all, The default F22, GSX vehicles, and apparently only my 747 freighters appear partially drawn. From what I've read, this appears to be related to when P3Dv4 became 4.1. My PMDG 747 pax, 737, and 777 are all fine. Is there more to this issue? Is it fixed? Or is it just a matter of waiting for the next P3Dv4.x update? Thanks!

Good evening, Performed my first flight yesterday and noticed that the brake accumulator pressure gauge does not read when I turn on the number 4 hydraulic aux pump. I loaded default panel state and this had no effect. I'm using P3Dv4.1 on Windows 10. VR Todd Hontz

If you want to censor opinions that go against PMDG, go right ahead, but you will permanently loose my business.* Why doesn't PMDG offer a port-over price for the 747 to P3D for FSX users? It's ridiculous to pay for a more expensive full price license when what I am essentially doing is just switching simulator platforms. I'd gladly pay the difference of $45 for a port over, but expecting me to pay $89.99 AND $134.99 for essentially the same product is unreasonable. I am not bashing PMDG, just asking a simple question.

Hi, I have a problem with the PMDG 747 when ever I load the aircraft at an airport with highly detailed scenery the screen crashes but if I press the Esc key then I get the option to end the flight so fsx is still working and if I click continue then the screen turns black and if I end the flight the picture of the plane in the main menu is black but if I load it at a default scenery airport it works if anybody knows how to fix this then let me know please.

When I had the QOTSII in P3D V4 I used FSUIPC to assign my joystick twist to the tiller axis. I could've sworn that it worked correctly and only affected the tiller, not both tiller and ruder. In V4 using FSUIPC again, FSUIPC's tiller axis is moving both the tiller and rudder. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Alex Pugh

Short after release there were discussions that sometimes they shake violently, now they don't vibrate at all anymore. (Yes, the option is switched on in my settings. I purchased the 747 QOTSII for P3D, my order number is 416563. I tried to use the "Contact Us" link on your website to talk to you about it but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received a reply. While reading the EULA I found in the legal jargon which is the part that will hold up in court that the software is exclusively for FSX even though I purchased the P3D version. Have updated P3Dv4 to 4.2 and also the latest fix via the Ops centre. However when I load the aircraft to the scenery in cold & dark I can hear the default outside sound and some VC default background sound but shortly after all sound dies and cannot hear any sounds during start-up procedures, including engine sounds, etc. Should I reinstall all the PMDG aircraft and if so, are there full installers available for this 4.2 version? thanks
