Hi, After updating the 747 it seems that my displays has gotten quite a bit darker. This problem also applies to the 747-8. Even at max brightness for the displays it seems quite dark 🤔. Thanks.

hi all abolsutely love the 747-8. Have one small issue about the moving map - it works amazing and so smooth but even with my brightness on the displays turned up the map is still quite dark / hard to read the taxi identifers / stands etc is anyone else experiencing this? any suggestions are welcome thanks

Dear Developers, Since the installation of the new version of the 744 and the 748 into P3D v4.3 my integral lights are suffering from low intensitiy. I did 2 full and clean installations of both products and the problem still persists. Marc Hotul

I'm having a weird problem with my PMDG installers. I just downloaded the new 747-400 v3 and and when I try to run the installers,, but the nothing happens. I tried disabling Windows Defender, running the programs as an administrator, or in Windows compatibility mode, nothing worked. 747-400 v2 ran without a single problem... That's a really weird issue. Anybody have a solution for this ?

I noticed that upon reaching Cruise the thrust setting doesn’t switch from CLB to CRZ. I have to manually set it in the FMC. If I recall this should happen automatically. Could someone clarify? Thanks - Sigmund Horn

Am I correct in thinking that you need to manually turn off the 3 packs before engine start, just like in the -400? As opposed to the 777 where they come off/on automatically. Alex Pugh

I updated the pmdg 747-400 and it works perfectly, I bought the pmdg 747-8 but it works like the beta version, I removed it and put it back, but it continues to function as the beta version. What is up ? What do I have to do to work? for example EFB functions as the beta version. I have the prepar 4.3

After I finish a flight, how do you end the flight in acars so I can start another leg? It shows that it is done but no way to reset for another flight, at least the way I see it. Thank you, Anthony Marquis

Hi, Not sure if anyone else has the same issue but when using this plane am unable to click anything as far as Nav lights,engine bleeds,packs pretty much everything below the temp control knobs. I see the click points and hear the click but nothing moves or turns on. I tired the PMDG 747-400 and 747-8 and it works fine so seems its just this livery. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance for all the help.

I'm having trouble installing the new full version of the 747-400, See in the image below the message that appears interrupting the installation. Got a warning to switch over to Fuel-Tank-to-Engine with uneven fuel quantities. Am I missing something?

😍 Well I don't know what you did in this update of QOS but the white box in the windscreen has gone guys !! It's still there in all other PMDG aircraft (hope this helps you find what was causing it) Good luck Keith

Hi all, I'm having some issues with GSX v2 and the PMDG 747-8i (passenger...haven't tried the freighter version yet). For starters my cargo won't load even though the FWD, AFT and Bulk doors are open and the loading vehicles are in place. Secondly despite door 2 being open, I keep getting a message to open door 2. Note that my passengers do board and deboard but since my cargo never loads I always have to reset GSX before proceeding to pushback. Thirdly, how can I adjust the time it takes to board and deboard? In the old version of GSX you could set a per passenger time etc. What is the equivalent in GSX v2? I acknowledge this is probably …

I have updated the 744 for P3D as requested by the PMDG OC. The update worked fine, but unfortunately, it seems that panel states of previously saved flights don't load anymore. Anyone else observing this?

These may, or may not, be bugs...FYI. I can post screens if needed. The standby analog altimeter displays a slightly different altitude than the plane. I was at FL390 and the standby displayed FL39150. Both obviously set to 29.92 (synced). The MCP LCD digits are sometimes the same color as the older non-LCD digits (not blueish white but that dull yellow color). Maybe a graphics glitch in my computer (e.g. driver)? I don't have this kind of issue anywhere else in any other plane or program though. If I turn the MCP LCD on and off a couple times it sets it to the correct color. The RAAS no longer shows up in the FSX menu or even loads in the freighter …

With the UTC time on the ND, where is the Elapsed Time (ET) at? On the 777 it starts automatically upon the wheels leaving the ground and shows on the ND.

I just wanted to report some little problems I am encountering regarding the Simulation and Aircraft options: 1) When line selecting any value to PANEL LTS DEFAULT LVL it is getting applied to FLOOD LTS DEFAULT LVL, and viceversa. I remember that this worked before the latest update 2) The option "AUTO SHOW VNAV CLB PAGE = NO" seems to get ignored. It will nevertheless switch to CLB page on flap rtr. This also worked before the latest update 3) "REALISTIC AP ENGAGEMENT" seems also not to work for me. This however cant be related to the latest update as I realized that just a few days ago befoe the update was released. I was hoping that the new instal…

Hi guys! Im wondering if any of you have noticed the lack of detail in the fan blades. The spinners specially look so low res. Its underwhelming Is this something a painter can fix? The fan blades are such a beautiful part in the genx that im surprised by the lack of detail pmdg gave them.

Dear PMDG, I just bought the 747-8 this morning-just wandering about the amount of liveries : There seems to be more fictional airlines(18 or 19 in total as to only 6 real world) for the standard 747-8 whereas there are less fictional airlines for the freighter version. Are you planning to add more liveries for real world airlines that are actually using the 747-8 in order to make up the difference? I would prefer to fly more airlines that have the aircraft as part of their fleet. Thanking you in advance. Best Regards Bernard

Hi, Just working through the Tutorial flight for the 747-8 and having some small early problems. 1. When I try to enter the ZFW of 520.0, it wont allow me to enter at LSK 2 and I get an "invalid Entry" prompt on the FMC Scratch Pad. 2. Im not getting any cockpit warning notification sounds, TOC, RAAS etc etc? 3.Sometimes when moving to external views (Chaseplane) the autopilot disconnects? Any thoughts on these please please? I know the old panel states couldn't be used with the latest updates, but my question is are the old aircraft configurations and hours compatible with the latest update?

Hello! I fly the new 748 and I had the Crew Response Monitor option activated. I thought that this warning is prohibited on the ground and when flaps not retracted and below FL200. But I get this warning plus Caution light on ground after engine start. It doesnt matter what knob I use (MCP, EFIS, CDU...) it does not go away. Also disabling the feature in the options (on the fly altough) wont let it disappear..... this constant caution light in front of me makes me nervous 😄

Hello. I´m not sure...is the Data Link for Winds and Temps aloft working in that plane? Actually for me it´s not working.
