During decent I got the EICAS messages FUEL OVRD 3 FWD and FUEL OVRD 2 FWD. Working through the non-normal Checklist for tank 2 it asks me to "OVRD 2 pump switch (affected pump) ... OFF." done. the checklist item gets checked/green and below it asks "Both override pumps in tank 2 are inoperative : yes... no... I chose no. Checklist complete. (green) but for tank 3 it does the same until it asks yes or no and when I choose "no" it jumps to the next step that asks me to turn off the OVRD 3 AFT pump switch. I have to turn it off too to complete the checklist, although the AFT pump is still fine and gets enough fuel. Do I miss som…

As in topic. On latest B748 when approaching taxi/rwy lights doesn't work. They on after runway touch. Also few times when pressing DIME lights I have kernelbase.dll CTD. Trying few times with many conf. Always CTD. Have AS16 latest, REX skyforce, IVAO. Disabling/enabling doesn't help. CTD only on night. Attached screen without lights. Hello everyone! I was just working on a custom fictional livery for the 748F and I noticed that there are two antennas on top of the fuselage that are just black. Then I started downloading other liveries through the operations center to compare and I realized, that basically in all of them these two pieces of the 3D model are always black. Then I went further and realized that it also applies not only to the F version but to the PAX and 744 (all versions) as well. I know that this is something that is absolutely non critical but I thought that I point that out it actually is a bug and if it is not a bug then I would at least use this opportunity to ask why are …

I am loving this bird a lot! Can't wait for the rainmaker to be implemented on the other aircraft as well as the EFB. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is the recirculation fans on the 748F. They are off in this picture, but looking at the overhead I do not see any switches that can turn them on. Am I missing something? What is the logic behind this in case there is no switch for recirculation fans? any information or help is appreciated!

Hello, for some reason when I land on the new PMDG 747-8, the reverser doors on the engines don't open/are not animated but the reverse thrust can be heard. This happens when not in replay mode. Does anyone know how to fix this??? Thanks

Besides the revere thrust problems, now I have an FMC problem. Whenever I enter the Takeoff Perf page, the captain's FMC freezes and when I also click FS Actions - Ground Connections I don't see any options there as in, its black. The captain's and FO's FMC also freezes on any page after the captain's FMC freezes on Takeoff Perf. Any solutions?? Thanks

So as I have had a couple of issues with the B748, I have an issue where I don't have the EFB in any of my B748 aircraft. I looked in PMDG Set up and I can't find anything. If it is in PMDG Set up could someone help me locate the option? If not then is there any solution to get the EFB? Thanks! Daniel Garcia

Greetings, I am receiving an EFB system fault in the Cargo-8. Each time it powers up, I've done 3 flights so far, it says " EFB state not restored (Different Aircraft Model)". I then select acknowledge new faults but it keeps doing the same thing. I'm using the same aircraft each time. Thanks,

Since purchasing the 744 and the 748 expansion I've always had the option under; Simulation/Reaching Tank / Eng set to AUTO TANK/ENG CONFIG. Since applying the update that was just released and confirming that setting was still selected I've observed that the aircraft no longer respects that setting. I had the Fuel/Tank advisory caution displayed and I had to manually deselect the four OVRD buttons and the two fuel cross feed buttons. I tried cycling the setting on page 6 of the simulation settings and it did not work. I started from the default cold/dark panel.

Doing my first trip after your recent updates, I noticed a few anomalies: When switching the seat belt signs on and off and then on I got a paradoxial EICAS message: When entering radius' of FIX airports larger than 500 NM I get a message its not available: Tank/Eng goes off when the weight and balance is not equal, I don't know if that's because I have to calculate the reserve tank fuel also, in any case I have the auto tank/eng option enabled and it failed to prevent an imbalance Now I of course take blame for anything I've resulted from ignorance.

Hi! Till today I only had one Hyd Aux system (HYD 4) in the 747-400. If I use a fixed aircraft config for the 747-8i (and this is obviously also used for the 747-400) this produces a second Hyd Aux System (HYD 1) in the 747-400. Are there any variants of the 747-400 with 2 Hyd Aux systems? Thanks Oliver

Hi Together, i`m on my way at FL40 with the 747-8F simbrief added step climps to my flight plan but i don`t want to "do them". So the usual way is to go to the VNAV Page, enter the cruising altitude and that`s it. But that`s not working the FMS shows me still Step To FL430 NOW. Did i something wrong ? brgds Christoph

I’ve managed to map the NGX APU to the two-position APU switch on my thrustmaster HOTAS. Would like to do the same on the 747, but it does not work. Anybody managed to do this with FSUIPC? Not interested in LINDA, already have everything set as I want, just the APU is giving problems. I mapped the switch to turn on followed by the start command. I think because of the required pause it is failing.

Good Morning: I have my add-on airports stored on a separate drive outside my sims (P3Dv4) main folder. I noticed that EFB is only scanning the sims main folder. Is there away to select the locations the EFB scans to capture that add-on scenery? Thank you.

Hi! I have been learning the EFB and I found that the Landing weight estimation in the "Weight and Balance" function is a bit strange. I use the data from FMS as the source of EFB. However, I get the same weight of Landing weight and Takeoff weight. Why is that or I have done something wrong? Thanks for help!!

Hi. According to the FCOM page 10.2 Limitations Section the passenger variant Max Take Off Weight is 394.625KGS On the Payload screen of the FMC it shows a Max T/O weight of 385.6 KGS a shortfall of 9000 KGS. Also there is a small difference in the MAX ZFW. FCOM says 244.9 KGS and the max you can enter via the FMC is 242.7 KGS. If anyone knows why this is, especially the 9000KGS difference in Max T/O weight I would be interested to know.

Hi, Thank you for a new great product. I see that when loading the B747-8 the list for default panelstate says B744. I guess they share same config ? I guess when i save a state for the B747-8 i will have to name it accordingly not mistakenly active that particular state with a 747-400? Thanks Michael Moe
