PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

I installed last nights update just fine, fast forward to today and the fix for the missing rainmaker in the 400 - upon starting the OC as Admin and attempting to install, the update crashes half way through and disappears until I start up the OC again. Checking event viewer it says the exception code: 0xc0000409. I haven't had this happen before so I uninstalled the 400 and reinstalled to see if that would fix it but it didn't. I even disabled my antivirus and that didn't fix the issue.

Just a headsup.... When I exit P3D V4.4 using the 747-400/8 and FS2Crew is enabled. It does not happen with FS2Crew disabled. I will post a bug report in the FS2Crew forum ! Finn Jacobsen

Hello, since this last update, after scheduling a new flight, the autopilot of the 747-8 disconnects all the time ! What's going on ?😯 P3D 4.4, W10, I7 8700K, 32 Go RAM, Ge ForceRTX 2080.

Queen II Hi everyone, I turned on the FMS feature to upload the alternate flight plan(s). Because of weather tonight I decided to do a 'go-around' in Boston and head to my first Alternate from my PFPX flight plan. The FMC offered 'Alternate Flight Plan Up Load Link'. If the feature is active how do you activate the upload link? Thank you in advance Bob

something must have changed with the DH/DA display in the PDF in the latest update. I noticed that when I switch from BARO to RA or viceversa without dialling back to 0 any already displaying value before, both values will be displayed in the PDF at the same time. In other words, when there is a BARO value displayed in the PDF and I switch to RA, the BARO value remains and the RA value will display as well. This was not like this before the update, but maybe this is how it is in RW ? best regards

Hi all, I just noted that there seems to be a little adjustment problem with the wipers in the 744 BCF. While in the PAX version I tried the upper wiper tips exactly draw the circle line of the wiped windshield area, on the BCF the upper wiper tips protrude quite a lot that circle line (as if the wipers are too long) I did not check for other models so far ... Anybody can confirm that? best regards

Hi, just installed the latest 747 QoSII updates for FSX. Bad surprise - when launching the sim now, all installed repaints for both -400 and -8 are gone and all I have in the sim now are the native PMDG liveries. Do I now seriously re-install them all? Best regards Michael Schnubel

My operations manager, which says it is the latest version if I try to update it, keeps telling me that there is an update for the PMDG 747 v3 - P3D v4. If I tell it to go ahead and update, it goes through a long "spiel" and tells me that it has finished. However, it does nothing, as the version still on my PC is 3.00.9008 and it still shows the update available as 3.00.9019. The PMDG is a freshly downloaded and installed version (after removing the previous one) done yesterday. Is there a solution? Ian Harrison

Hi I installed the update via the Ops Center (first the 747 than the 748) While I can load the 747 in the sim the 748 always loads in a crash state while reset to the default aircraft. Help? Dekel

Since the latest 744 update I seem to have a problem here with RAAS, which isnt working on the Freighter and BCF models, however it does on passenger and ERF models. Anybody else noticed that? I did of course completely uninstall the older version deleting all pmdg leftover folders and installed the new one then (twice now...) . RAAS is also selected as YES in options for all those models. Any glue?

Hi Gent`s, i hope this is the right forum to ask this question. I also tried to search trough youtube but i couldn`t find a awnser. Since i use now fs2crew for the -8 on the approach brief there are 2 items which i don`t find where to set them in the plane. 😞 I tried to search trough the manual and also google but i couldn`t find the information. Maybe i searched wrong. I hope the pro`s can help me. Where do i set the FINAL APPROACH FIX ALT ? And the MISSED APPROACH ALT ? 😳 This two items are always red and then i cannot play the briefing 😞 thank you for your help

Just today I tried to start up a flight from Luxembourg to Abu Dhabi using the CLX 747-8F and was unpleasantly greeted to these images when I opened the flight deck: https://imgur.com/a/aJ17q2f https://imgur.com/a/Njf9hOr Ignore the fact that half the cockpit is missing that is simply some weird reflection pack and isn't the relevant point. I am simply unsure why these displays are not even showing. I found out that if you try to hold a <<wheelie>> on landing the aircraft keep accelerating on its own. On this video i cut down fuel controls on touch down,i have full flaps and spoilers. REALISM settings are hard. is this a pmdg or p3dv4 issue. the plane can hop and hop without limit as long as you hold the yoke back. It keeps generating +10 knots for unknown reason on each hop

I used the aircraft profile that simbrief gives you for the 747-8f and my fuel numbers and payload numbers were off. Whats the proper way to add a new aircraft in the editor? I looked and you have to enter in weights. Where do I find those?

Hi, I was wondering where I can read up in the manual more about the differences between the original and updated fuel system? These are options that can be selected in the Equipment page on the FMC but I couldn't find a reference to them in the manuals about the differences between them. Also where can I read more about the different weight and balance systems? And can a 747 be equipped with a "single" weight and balance system despite not having a stab tank equipped? Chaps I seem to remember before the 744 was released asking whether there would be an option of transponder panels/systems (i.e. whether we could select between the system with rotary knobs and that with the keypad-style display) and Kyle said there would only be one type simulated as the keypad-style system was too disparate to include merely as a swappable aircraft option in the FMS menu. Hi PMDG 747-438ER Pilots My friend and I have started to create flight plans in the FMC. When I started a flight plan from YBBN to YMML, just after I typed in YBBN in page 1 of the route, An error message came up: YBBN Err: 01R Rwy N/A I then went to DEP/ARR page and there were no runways and no SIDS listed, just nothing. My friend started a flight plan WSSS to VHHH and just after entered WSSS, up came the error WSSS 21Rwy N/A I reinstalled Navigraph, but to no avail. Has any other flight simmers come across this error? Your help would be most appreciated Regards Richard

I took off from KEDW to PHNL. My initial altitude was FL380. I had an initial step climb planned to FL400 and a later step climb to FL430 along the flight. I stepped up to FL400 with no problem. I then step climbed up to FL430 when it said to but when I dialed FL430 into the MCP it changed to showing this. Later after I was no longer speed limited it corrected itself to showing correctly. Is this proper operation of the FMC?

Hello, I have an issue with the B748 and the ND Airport map. The airport map is working perfectly for all the airport except the 2 sceneries I bought from JustSim (EBBR and ELLX). I already tried to scan the add-on scenery on the EFB but the airport map still not showing. Is there anything else to do to be able to see the airport map on the ND ? Thanks and have a nice evening.
