PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

I want to store the FP ,pdf document directly into the EFB on clicking the PFPX Export option. Which PFPX export option should I use and to which EFB directory?

just tried my first autoland after the update and the plane touched down with over 500 ft/min.... so I tried another airport , but the same result...around 500 ft....this used to be very smooth before the update.. both landings with 0 wind .. has the autopilot still to update his landing technique with the new groundeffect ? best regards

Hi folks, after the update to the latest 3.00.9195 and during my decend (into EGLL coming back from KSEA) I found that those of the numerous AI aircraft around London vanishing out of sight were still visible through the panel. I am not sure, if this behaviour is new are a side effect of Ultimate Traffic or Traffic Global. Anyone else with this effect?

Hey fellow 744/8 drivers, Something i noticed after the recent update. On the payload page the numbers jump to different values randomly then returning to inputted values then jumping again etc etc. I also noticed the main gear was jittering too when this occured. Model used was the BCF. Anyone else having this issue? Will try to reproduce now. Greetz, Thanny

Greetings, Just experienced my first CTD with this bird. All up to date with the latest patches. Just took off from PANC. Decided to log into the Charts section of the EFB using my Navigraph account and started browsing the charts. Never really used that feature previously be cause I have a secondary PC which I use instead. This time I logged in and started to browse and that's when the CTD occurred. Doesn't give ya the warm and fuzzies when you use a big feature for the first time and crashes your sim. I've flown many hours, crash free, with the bird already. Only difference, did not use the EFB chart feature. Hmmm... Any ideas? Cheers, T…

For your Info.. It's an old problem on PMDG 747's. When I shift from VC full view to locked external full view. The engine sound takes time to follow.. In airports before engine start shifting views are no problem. But in air one part of the sound is there. fans etc which in PMDG planes still are playing in external view though deselected. But while waiting for the engine sound to catch up... CTD. Hi guys, I can't say if I have this issue since P3D4.4 or last 747 update but I'm now flying by night and I can't see any cabin/cockpit lights from exterior views. In the VC all is OK. I checked the Cabin light setup and it is in AUTO mode as usual. Changing it to MANUAL and full light didn't change anything. Does anyone has the same issue? Thanks, Skip.

Hey Guys, i just updated the 747-400 Base to the latest version (3.00.9195) on P3D 4.4 (4.4.0.0) and it seems the panel is dead. No screens working, only certain clickspots working and the yoke does not react to any input. Anyone got a hint what might fix this? 😉

Hello all! In my last flights I am having some trouble because my plane goes into upset attitude near the ground on approach with autopilot on. Needless to say, I face the situation being icy, disconnecting all the automation (see Children of Magenta video) hand flying the beast when generally she is plummeting from the sky, stalled. It is easy to find myself pointing direct to the ground. These flights are flown on IVAO, after many hours connected, so I don't like the idea to see them being rejected due the possible crashing it can result. Hi folks, having the FSX 747-400 updated to 3.00.9193 ... 1. I am on the flight BAW53 EGLL-KSEA 2. I missed 3.00.9195 being out, and I don't want to interrupt the flight now. However, about every 60 seconds there is a 2 seconds hickup (freeze) of the simulation. I switched off one by one GSX, Active Sky, Couatl Live Update, Ultimate Traffic, all other traffic ... ... all in vain - - - any ideas, suggestions? Actually I updated my machine (XMas... see my footer), so it should be at the upper end now, nevertheless these hickups. Thanks in advance.

Well, I took the plunge and updated just now. -400 & -8 - 3.00.9195 I was horrified to see these messages and when I went to 4.4 all I have is the PMDG hose liveries. I keep a list of all my liveries on my iPad so when I went to try to reinstall them I get these error messages. Please advise.

After the Performance page update and doing a few flights.(-8) I have to say the difference is Night and Day. Derated takeoff are a joy to work out. Thank you for this update it was really needed to make the EFB a "must use" edition to the aircraft.

Lets just say update for 747 queen of skys is borked, still ends up as older version. Go to my account and cannot reset password, Because PMDG evidently requires it to be reset, therefore cannot access my download files to do a complete re-install of it. Everything I have bought and paid for cannot access. what is gonna be done about it PMDG

Just updated to 3.00.9195 and noticed the 747-8 Captain's PFD Zoom Display no longer works. Clicking on the PFD doesn't display the zoomed window. The Co-pilot's works just fine. I'm running P3D 4.4. Wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this before I submit a support ticket. Thanks, Charlie Simons

Captains, We have had a few reports tonight from Prepar3D 4.0-4.3 users that updating their PMDG 747 QOTSII product to build 3.00.9193 causes the 747 to "load up dead" in the sim. (Meaning: No screens, no gear and no countdown timer to signal that the airplane is initializing.) Interestingly, Kyle had this same thing happen to him tonight when testing for our rainmaker update, and we have been investigating ever since. We have been investigating all night- and haven't reached any conclusions yet. What we know, is that for Kyle, and for a few other users, upgrading to Prepar3D v4.4 cured the problem and returned them to normal operation. This is cur…

Captains, A few moments ago we published a large, broad-based update for all of the PMDG 747 QOTSII product lines on all platforms. This update provides a series of comprehensive updates, some of which have been under development since February of 2018, and are just being added to the product line now, such as PMDG RainMaker for Prepared v4 users of the PMDG 747-400 QOTSII. Additional features in the 747-8's electronic flight bag, performance improvements, bug fixes and general improvements. For Prepar3D v4 users, we are still working through adding PBR to all of the 747 models, and this is taking some time as there are so many models that must be updated.…

Hello, Looking for some help with this... After the update of the 747 QOTSII running with P3Dv4.3, the aircraft loaded up but none of the click spots for any of the switches is available in the cockpit. No hand icon shows and all panels are blank. Unable to power the aircraft on, no access to the FMS, PMDG menus etc I tried a different (default P3D v4) aircraft and cockpit panel and switches work OK. Rebooted PC after the update but no change. Only change on the system was to perform the latest 747 update via the PMDG OC. Regards Mark

After all updates applied through Operations Center, my 747-400 and 747-8 have different version numbers. They are usually the same. 747: 3.00.9194 747-8: 3.00.9193 Both say "up to date" so I guess there is no problem. Thanks.

Hello PMDG, first thanks for the update and I'm very pleased with the new functionalities of the EFB, especially the additional performance calculations. One question though (and pardon me if that was answered somewhere else maybe): is it planned to implement the INTX calculations also one day? many thanks!
