PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

I am at KTPA right now. I noticed today my left seat main display doesn't show the magenta route, nor the airport map, nor any VOR's, my right side display does show it. What did I do to disable that feature on the left side? MFC is fully configured.

There is no bugs in the cockpit window when landing. I can not see at all. I check every day while flying, but the bugs is not attached. What should I do?

Hi All, I’m going down to the in-laws and anticipate a lot of boredom. I forgot to email myself all the 747 V3, and the -8 docs to read over while I’m dodging political discussions. Updated P3D to 4.4 and en-route PANC-VHHH in the 8iF and all is going really well. It seems possibly even smoother now but of course that is subjective. Love this airplane! Running P3D updated versions of: AS4 EZCA Aaron

Hello. So I got the PMDG 747-8 finally and I was going to install it when I got a notification that my 747-400 needs to be updated. So I go the OC and select install update and then click ok. It downloads 1.08 megabytes then a black screen appears and disappears in a second. So I turn the OC off, only to turn it back on and find that the update hasn't installed. Is there any fix to this? hello got a caution message "Fuel temp pred". qrh says: fuel temperature is predicted ti be low after reserve transfer occurs. but the message remains there although transfer has already been occurred and fuel temp (-27) is higher than entered in FMC -37. is it normal behavior? thanks

Hi All, Does anyone know of any liveries available the don't carry any company logos branding etc...? Preferrably for the Freighter variant. -400 or 8 (or both!) Just for those days I want to chill and fly from A to B without thinking in my head I'm flying for DHL! Thanks in advance, James

Hello, I've been experiencing weird behavior on both the -400 series and -8. Upon touchdown the aircraft seems to almost slam down onto the runway. This does not happen when the outer set of wheels make initial contact but only when the inner set of wheels make contact. I cannot replicate the problem and it is not unique to one particular scenery. I've attempted to install the 747-800 expansion on my prepar3d v4 and it won't let me. It say's I need to update the 747-4 which I've done through the operation's center. Please advise. My computer skills are control, alt, delete and reboot.

Hi With Different variants of 747-8 I am missing the Analog Clock on both Captain and FO. It is nowhere in setup to add. Therefore, I am missing time to start flight, and time compression etc. When I press Clock on Captain it only starts a digital timer on the ND. Any advice? Bill

After installing the just PMDG747 in FSX Steam, I do not have my weather radar displaying any precip with 100% rain set in the sim weather engine. Detailed clouds are enabled. Good day, I already posted in the FS 2 crew forum, but FS 2 crew seems to think the CTD I’m receiving is related to you guys. As soon as I hit landing data in button control the sim crashes using the 400/8. So I don’t know what to say really it’s happened to me like 5 or 6 times using FS 2 crew so unfortunately I had to stop using it. Seems to be fine without FS 2 crew. Anyway I’ll probaly get a sarcastic answer here I’m sure lol

P3D 4.4.16.27077 PMDG 744 & 748 3.00.9019 Hi all; I am flying the 744 with FS2crew and I have set equipment page 3/22 V1 callout to off and appr minimus call and minimums call to none. In the 748 I have set the same settings to "on" due to the fact that FS2crew is not available. I have despite the above settings in my 744 the PMDG V1 calls, the call announcing positive rate of climb and the minimums calls from PMDG. To avoid influence from the 748 I have switched off the above calls also but that doesn’t cure the problem. Has anybody a recommendation what I can do? Thanks Stefan

I have a fictional airport (Andras Field by Aerosoft) installed and so navigating to and from the field has to be done manually. My only question is how to I tune the ILS manually into the FMC? I understand it must be done through the NAV RAD page. The ILS entry constantly says PARK. I also understand that there are certain times ILS tuning is inhibited. I've checked the list on 11.20.7 and none of the conditions apply. I'm airborne, have been for over 10 minutes, and even tried turning off the AP and FDs to override the inhibition. I'm also noticing that even if I try to put the ILS frequency (109.55) into the Pre-Sel line, I get an INVALID ENTRY message. But i…

Good morning, there are more and more frequencies with 8.33 kHz spacing being used in RL and on IVAO. However, I don't seem to be able to use them with the -8 (or -400). As an example neither DEL nor GND in EDDM can be tuned (121.710 and 121.730). Also, every frequency ending with a "5" digit needs to be tuned with a "0" instead of the "5". Is there any solution to this or does this need to be included in a fix? IVAO basically says the add-on needs to support it, but there might be some interdependencies between IvAP and the aircraft as well... Hope you can help. Thanks, Jan P3D v4.4 | Win 10

Why can't we do it between flaps 1 and 5 but everything else is fine? Does the leading edge somehow affect fuel dumping? -Angelo Busato

Hello, I'm getting a really annoying FPS drop every time I hover the mouse over anything that's clickable in the VC. For example, I move the mouse to a switch and FPS drops from 30 to 15. After a second the FPS goes back to normal. This can be frustrating when making heading SEL changes during flight you really notice the lag. Note that I did not experience this issue with earlier versions of QOTSII. This does not happen with other addon aircraft. Only on Both 744 & 748. FSXSE Win10 (Everything is updated)

Hello, Just a Simple Question in the regarding DataLink ETE [Estimated Time Enroute] there's a confusion regarding this entry. is the ETE = Block Time for instance if block time is 50 mins from gate to gate it should be entered in the ETE or it should be added to the departure time so if ETD= 10:10 and Enroute Time= 50 mins ETE = 00:50 or ETE= 10:10 + 50 = 11:00 ? thank you

I can load the 747-400 but every time I load the -8 it asks for my serial number and after putting it in I get the plane floating on the runway with the gear up and nothing working in the cockpit. Also, when I load the -400 I get a pop-up box I have never seen ever, it says Error creating child window. I’m running Windows 10. Any help will be appreciated.

Beacon lights is not flashing realistic as they do in real life. Will it be fixed? Regards, Truls Petter
