PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

Hello, I just got the Queen of SkIes, without the expansion pack, installed it and stumbled accrost this visual issue( pictures below). I reinstalled and tried it out without and with the latest update. I am curently not using any camera addon because i just had a fresh install of P3D(V4) . This also happens with the passenger variant, and with or without liveries. Thank you! am having trouble sending the dlink to the fmc i have watching the video that you made of and followed the step by step i get the dlink active i go to the fmc and it says send request i send it and now i get the two aircraft on the list which none of them are high lighted as seen on the pic any ideas on a fix for this please thanks martin

What I wanted to say, 2 weeks ago, I have bought the PMDG 747-400 v3 and I'm already online with it. I'm so excited that I already have the idea to make the update to the 747-8. But I think I'll practice a bit more, then the transition to the Dash 8 will be easier. Hi everyone. I just bought the 747-400V3 for P3Dv4. When I try to load the plane, all the screens are off, the yoke is stuck in to the right, throttle is at full. Nothing works, and nothing will turn on. I should point out, I was never asked for my activation key. Even after I tried reinstalling the aircraft, it won’t work nor did it ask for my activation key. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hello all, I apologize in advance for my English, I speak Czech and I use Google Translate. I have a problem with 747-400 / 8 v3. After the simulator is started, the engines 1 and 2 are running as they do, but motors 3 and 4 do not work. Hey i updated to the latest updates for the 747 and i tried to get my terminal charts working on the efb but it loads a white pop up page but nothing at all . I am using Reshade and tomato shade and p3dv4.4. I hope i get a resolution for this .

I am recently (since the last update I believe) seeing that on many climbs the FMS calculated climb speed is oscillating 1-3 knots, in my last flight for example it was during quite some time constantly changing between 341 , 342 and 343 knots in the PFD as well as in the CDU, max angle value is flashing then also.. That was never the case before. So, I dont know, is that realistic behaviour or is it maybe a little bug ? thank you and best regards

So we need to presurize the 4th system first and depressurize it last to prevent fluid transfer. My question is, what happens when the 4th system's engine and demand pumps fail? Will the fluids from 1,2, and 3 spill over? How would a fluid transfer affect the flight controls and what could I expect to see on the pressure readings? -Angelo Busato

Forgive me for saying this, but......that "60" callout sounds very "clunky" when compared to the rest of the callout sounds. It almost sounds like it has been "shoe horned" in at the last minute. Easily disabled (and therefore not a problem for me), but the fact that it sounds nothing like the other callouts is a bit of a puzzle.

I'm so far only noticing the following on RR equipped planes. I've seen it specifically on the -400, -400F and -400BCF. Since I always have trouble with the default panel saves, I'll just start fresh and then set the panel state I want from that. In this specific case, I want to go cold and dark. So I load the sim into any airport but specifically a RR equipped -400. Once the sim is running and the initialization for the aircraft is complete, I'll pull all four fuel control switches to cutoff. After the engines spin down, the plane is still powered for a good minute or so before everything sort of starts flickering. I'll get the battery and the standby power and then…

Got a Fuel Temp Pred warning last night at FL400. Went through the checklist. It recommended I increase speed. I did, and the message went away. Cool! Neat to see this stuff simulated - I learned something today because of it. But why does that work? I only increased from M0.84 to M0.85 which at that altitude is only a few knots faster. Surely skin heating doesn't increase enough because of that to make a difference in the fuel temps, or does it?

Hello, Recently Raas stop working with my install's of PMDG's 747 Queen of the skies II and PMDG's 777, Prepar3d v4. After I check the on/off box under Raas then save it, I'll pick an active runway, and if I'm lucky, I'll get one call from Raas stating the runway I'm on and that's it. I'll look at the Raas on/off box and the box is no longer checked. Looking at numerous postings on the forum, I know the Dll is critical and I have cut and pasted what the entry should be with no change. With my last attempt I removed ALL my PMDG products( 737, 747, 777). and reinstalled just the 747. The new Dll, under Program Data has two new entry's, one for <Name> RAASPRO an…

Hello all - I've noticed a difference in takeoff dynamics with regard to pitch in the -8. I understand that there are differences in the wing & air frame design so it makes sense. In the -400 series.. upon reaching Vr.. i'll start a smooth pitch up at the standard rate & the mains will leave the ground right at or above v2 for a nice climb out. In the -8.. I use the same procedure however it seems very sluggish to get airborne & achieve v2+. There seems to be more back pressure required to sort of "pull it off" the runway as opposed to letting it fly off. Acceleration through v2 is also slightly delayed. I have a technical question about the differences between the -400 and the -800. PMDG has modeled the wind noise to be very loud in the cockpit by default with the -400, which I am assuming is accurate. I have always heard the 747 is very loud upfront. I noticed a difference with the -800 where the wind noise is much quieter. Did Boeing put more noise dampening material in the 747-800? It seems to be a much quieter bird overall.

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm correctly loading the wind data into the FMC. I have sucessfully activated the ACARS system on the center CDU. It says DLNK ACT* on the bottom right. Then I'm going to LEGS - RTE DATA - REQUEST SEND - wait until LOAD is displayed and click that - then I click EXEC. However I do not see the wind directions in the right column under wind. For example a letter W for wind coming from the west. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! Best regards Andreas

I downloaded the 747-8 with hope to get a flight bag but now when I try to fly either my 400's or the -8 neither work. The aircraft loads but nothing in the flight deck works. I cant click anything, power levers dont move and in exterior view there is no landing gear. What gives? My 400 worked just fine until I downloaded the -8. I have spent a few hours trying to redownload and disconnect but no joy. Help please! Brent Kolar

Hi I loaded up the 747 this morning and found that I had no interaction in the cockpit.Is there a way of repairing the aircraft or do I need to do a re-install.I noticed that when the plane is loading I am not getting the usual loading info on the top of the screen.The 737 and 777 are working ok.I am running p3d v4.4 and win10. No VAS limit please bring the option of the eyepoint balls in the virtual cockpit as an fmc option! - David Lee
