I have been flying the JustFlight Piper arrow and am trying to keep it old school without using a GPS. Been flying in the Caribbean over lots of water and this area has very little VOR reception. When I create a flight plan in LNM, is the course shown on the yellow line in the map (example....109nm/139M) already corrected for wind? The Piper arrow tells me my current track on the EFB as I fly. Do I fly so my track is the same as the the course on the map (139M in this example) or do I set the airplanes heading to the course (139M)? Thanks

Trying to get my head around creating custom airspace. What I want to do is create a file to display all aerodrome traffic zones (ATZs) in the UK. However, I'm struggling: I can't get the files I create to display in LNM (v.2.6.7). Here is my workflow for one example airfield, EGTF Fairoaks. Fairoaks has a standard ATZ: SFC-2000' AGL. Airfield elevation is 80ft. Using the Openair format from here, I create a .txt file with the following contents: AC CTR AN Fairoaks ATZ AL SFC AH 2080ALT V X=51:20:53 N 000:33:31 W DC 2 I then save the txt file into the default location, \documents\Little Navmap Files\User Airspaces\ After saving the file,…

Was not able to find any info on this, Alex. However, if there is a post dealing with this, just point me to it and I'll not inflict myself on you any longer. I have 2.6.11 installed but tried 2.1.10 and 2.6.7 as tests and got the same results. None of my toolbar icons respond when I click them. Additionally, when I right click an airport symbol on the map, I cannot select it as a departure/arrival point. In fact, most of the items in the menu that appears are grayed out. Vatsim controllers not showing on map. Information panel after selecting controller says, "Airspace has no geometry and cannot be shown on the map.". How can I get the Vatsim controllers to show on the map please? Thanks.

Love LNM and all the free content. Being new to LNM I thought I would use this forum to try and get some help. It appears that when I export a flight plan into the XPlane FMS the waypoints seem correct but somehow appear to get out of sequence. This normally happens with the waypoints leading up to the IAF and FAF. They sometimes appear back to front if this makes sense. Any help would be appreciated. Regards talkdown2

Hi everyone, I have a doubt concerning Navdata updates. I'm using FSX-Steam Edition and I make every AIRAC updates as usual, downloading the files from www.aero.sors.fr , all went well with this process. I chose in "scenery library" the option of not updating by navigraph because I don't have the subscription, leaving the option to do it through my simulator as available in the possible menu choices. Hello I am hoping for some advice, but I’m not sure to what degree I might be a lost cause, as I am not very technical and although I have Little Navmap running, I’m not sure I understood the data aspects or did it right during the installation. I have it linked to X-Plane 11. I never had a moving map before and think it’s great, except for these two problems. The least of the two (because it’d be nice, but it’s not the end of the world) is that LNM see’s me, but it doesn’t see any AI flights. When I am flying, I usually activate the flight plan leg to find the ETA. Only problem is that the waypoint will go back to the previous waypoint i am flying to in my fsx gps. Any way to stop that behavior?

I'm very new to flight sims, as in MSFS is the first one I've ever played and I'm kicking myself being 45 that this is the first time I've ever tried one! I have tried searching to see if it were already asked, but no such luck. Is there any plans on bringing support for an iPad App for us pilots who fly with iPad support? Hi All, New to the community here, and loving Little Navmap's feature set and UI. It provides such a great level of depth in flight planning. I'm running X-Plane 11.25 on a 2010 Mac Pro in the United States, and recently discovered how to use the FAA CIFP data available from https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/digital_products/cifp/download to update the nav data from X-Plane's default AIRAC Cycle 1611 to 1810 (the current AIRAC cycle at the time I'm writing this). We have a flight plan created to fly around the Idaho backcountry. When xxported as MSFS 2020 PLN file, it won't load in MSFS 2020. When the same flight plan is exported as a FSX/P3D PLN file, it loads just fine in MSFS 2020 - which we find to be very odd. Here is dropbox link to all three versions. I have downloaded from Github using the button Clone or Downlaod and then Download Zip. Copied the zip file in Dcocuments/LittleNavmap/ Extracted there. It created a new directory called Littlenavmap-master. And in that directory there is no file called littlenavmap.exe. I have a littlenavmap.exe.simconnect file of 1KB that is about the closest I get to littlenavmap.exe. Please advise. Bat

Hello, It seems that whenever I click the button to show the aircraft icon on the map, it also shows this arrow with heading and kts, that I do not wish to show on the map. Is there any way to show the plane icon without the arrow also showing? The arrow overlaps the map and detracts from the experience, in my opinion. I spent a lot of time looking through all the options and settings, with no solution. Thank you for your continued work on this awesome tool!

Hi, I'm new here and I've only been using Little Navmap for a short time in (P3dv5) and I can already say that I'm very fond of this tool. I have already created several flight plans, which were also read by my machines (PMDG, Qualitywings and Captain Sim) without any problems. The calculation of the plans has always led to the planned cruising altitude, but never initiated the descent, let alone calculated this to the destination airport in several stages. I use Sids & Stars, but no stage descent is shown in my flight plans. How can I change this? Reaching the cruising altitude (in several stages) is also possible. Thanks! Regards, Fabian

I have just started flying the E1000 which is fitted with the Skyview system as opposed to the G1000. When inserting the Little Navmap flight plan the only thing visible is the departure and destination airfields and one beacon reference. The flight plan itself does not populate the map display. Excuse my naivety as I am not sure that Little Navmap supports the SkyView system. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello iḿ new here. Iinstalled Littlenavp 2.6.7 on a externial Notebook, Xplane 11.53 ist running on another Pc, Navconnect is ok. Contact to Pc, in Little Navmap in a line below is a message couple to Simulator. Now my question. I startet xplane with Plane Dash 8-100 on Tetouan (GMTN). Flightplan is loaded via FMS (GMTN-DAOO). Littlenavmap dockwindow says me, please start xplane and load plane to show the progress. The Plane is loaded and I sit in the cockpit but i have no plane in lnavmap the Icon simulatorplane in the top icon is activated, thank you for help.

Hello, A bit of help please, as the title suggests I am unable to save a new flightplan in the .pln format, I'm only allowed to save as a .lnmpln format. I was able to do this prior to the latest update or am I doing something completely wrong? Any suggests to enable me to save in the .pln format would be great. Thanks in advance. Dave

Is it possible to see bearings of airways that are inbound/outbound on a VOR? The way it's usually denoted in enroute charts. I'm trying to fly my plan with radio navigation only, so I need bearings from fixes to nearby VOR stations. I also have not found a way to see bearing between two waypoints on a map. (in my case a flight plan fix and a nearby VOR). Sure, I can right click -> measure distance from a waypoint, but then the other point is wherever my cursor is - I can't set it precisely to another waypoint. Manual pinpointing is really not very precise, especially when the 2 waypoints are a bit farther apart. Any help will be appreciated.

I am running a Windows 10 fast computer 6800 Raytheon card and great FPS but did an IFR flight in the UK today with plan made up and approaches from LNM but after landing it into FS2020 the program deviated me from the LNM flight plan and discarded the STARS approach I had chosen and directed me straight to the airport. Curious about how that happens?? I would love to have LNM control the whole flight after loading into MSFS2020. BTW I use ECHO as well as an autopilot controller and it is amazing. Ended up cancelling IFR before arrival and doing an illegal VFR landing with 500ft ceiling in heavy rain.

Hi all The last days, I have tried to install and use Little Navmap on a Raspberry Pi 4 8Gb! I have had no luck to get it running! I have tried on Ubuntu Desktop 20.10: ubuntu-20.10-preinstalled-desktop-arm64+raspi.img.xz and Raspberry Pi 64bit: 2021-03-04-raspios-buster-arm64. So I've searched the help files and this forum and nothing comes up about how to backup all the personal waypoints and POIs I've added to LNM. Any ideas? And also, how can I give a copy of all my POIs to someone else or move them to another computer? Cheers.
