Hi. Dumb question. Let's say I am flying IFR between KDAY in Dayton to KERI in Erie Penn. I decide I want an alternate since the weather is a bit dodgy at KERI. So I choose an alternate airport that has ILS say KCGF east of Cleveland Ohio. So I set all of this up and then go to set an approach procedure for my alternate but there is no option to do so. Why is that? Thanks for putting up with my naïve questions 🙂

After installing 2.6.2, I receive the following error - Error downloading or reading wind data: Connection timed out. Both weather and Wind source are set to NOAA. Should I disable wind source? The curious thing is when I disable wind source it still shows the the wind/weather indicator. Regards, Rolf

Please Help, Keep getting this error message no matter what I do. Have reset everything, even uninstalled and reinstalled it all. Have followed all the instructions on setting up offline data etc... still keep getting this and I don't have a clue? Can't even upload a picture... Does this Insert image from URL not accept MEGAsync links? Anyway, this is short version of what the Error Message Says: ERROR Downloading or Reading Wind Data...server replied: Data file not present (203)

Two quick questions: 1) I don't know why but in my Linux box shortcut Ctr-Alt-A doesn't toggle Center Aircraft button. Keycodes I've checked under terminal: -left ctrl+left alt + A -> 29, 56, 30 -right ctl + right alt +A -> 97, 100, 30 Manually clicked button works/switches on Center aircraft mode iwthout problems. Also the option taken under Map menu works without problems, only this key combination doesn't work as it should. 2) Would it be possible to implement (in future of course) separate button/shortcut to center aircraft on map at once when autocenter features are disabled? Hi, I'm running v2.4.4 on P3D v4.5 via WideFS. LNM has been fine for ages but today I keep getting "Error downloading wind data. Connection closed." messages. I can still access the folder containing current_wx_snapshot.txt from the WideFS PC so that doesn't appear to be the problem. I suspect Windows 10 security but AS16 is running so difficult to know where to look.

Hi everyone ... I'm new to this forum and maybe the topic has already been covered but I couldn't find where! I come straight to the point. I have been using LNM for a long time which I update regularly and every time I appreciate its complexity as well as its usefulness, so much so that it has become my favorite program, especially for VFR flight. For some days I have not been able to view the map in "window" mode; only when the full screen function is activated. Maybe I have changed some parameter or setting without wanting it but in fact this turns out to be very unpleasant and uncomfortable. Would anyone be able to give me some indication about it? Would it be possible to add the option for a column for city and country in the Flight Plan Table? Some might know where Sharm El Sheikh or Islam Karimov is located, or what region is HE or UT, but I am new to parts of the world and would like to see what country I am in (without clicking on the airport row). hey..just curious..when you connect to Little NavMap....shouldn't the airport of where you are loaded at in the sim MSFS show up or is there a setting..I go say to Perth Australia and Atlanta shows up..how do i fix that? Thanks, BobM.

I've found small "bug" for both online IVAO flight plans (for X-IVAP and for IVAP). Now LNM exports flight plans to online IVAO .fpl files with field Speed set to 3 figure number and SpeedType set to N designator. But IVAO flight plans are based on real ICAO flight plan schema and that's why it's possible to write speed in .fpl file in knots (designator N) or Mach number (designator M) or km/h (designator K). For N designator (knots) - 4 digits number is obligatory in flight plan (3 digits speed is for M speed, for K it's also 4 digits number). When creating a flight plan, what criteria is used to select waypoints?

Just trying to understand everything in this app 🙂 I looked it up on Wikipedia but the description is fairly vague.

As the title says, I am trying to export my flight plan to use in the Gtn 750 but the option to export as .gfp is simply missing. There are so many videos and screenshots showing of the option, but when i go to the drop down menu its simply not there. I really hope someone can help me here.

Today I've prepared flight plan for route FABL-FBMN. I've set EVEN flight level because magnetic heading is 353, true heading is 343 (as LNM shows for direct connection - orthodrome). When I clicked button "Adjust flight level ..." it changed flight level to ODD. I've checked other similar direction - for flight/route FABL-FZSA (magnetic heading 358, true heading 357) it always corrects/adjusts flight level to ODD, but IMHO it should be EVEN level because it's Westbounded flight (E/W hemispherical rules). Is there presently way to quickly add a userpoint based upon the aircraft location (static)? If not would it be possible to do so or alternatively have a way to copy the aircraft lat/lon to the clipboard?

Since the latest MSFS update I'm loosing connection after a short time (maybe 2 or 3 minutes). I can close LNMconncet on my SIM PC, restart it and do the same with LNM on my remote PC, but again after a short while I get disconnected. The LNMconnect window says something about too many packages ... I had no problem before the update and LNM was connected over hours.

If and add-on airport enhancement in my Community Folder adds missing missing scenery, or parking spots, or taxiways, or navaid, when I compile my LNM database from MSFS 2020, I assume that this enhancement information is not imported. 1. Is this correct? 2. Should I be concerned about this? (especially if I am going to get Navigraph Data?) thanks

Not sure what I did but I am unable to left click on an airspace highlight (class E for example) and see information on it. I have to right click and select "show information for airspace....." If there are multiple airspace's shown, I have to right click and select each one, one at a time. Is there a way to left click on the airspace and have all the airspace's show up in the information tab at once? Thanks

Whenever I attempt to enable a traffic pattern at an airport it is disabled in the context menu even though I have it enabled in View->User Features. I have to go to View->User Features and turn it off and then back on and then it works. What am I doing wrong?

W10 - P3D5.1.12.26829 (installed/updates 2-days ago) - LNM v2.6.10 - AIRAC 2102. Since updating P3D5 and LNM I have a few questions. There used be a flight 'progress' window which indicated flight length; distance to go; height (current above MSL) and current height above ground. These are not available now! Unless (of course) I am looking in the wrong place(s). Also - in the MFD screen when using a plan at the bottom of the screen shows VOR1 and VOR2 when in 'Nav mode'. A question for Alex - would it be possible to implement additional field for filtering options to get separate lists of "empty" and "non-empty" (normal) airports? At this moment they are displayed together and there isn't possible to sort them in reference to their empty/non-empty statuses. Regards, Piotr
