hello, not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but here goes! I just started using little navmap and it's great so far. Only 1 thing I haven't figured out to do: I bought a new scenery package that contains additional airstrips and airports (with true ICAO values) that aren't in the default X-Plane database (The Seychelles Addon). How can I add these new additional airports onto the Little Navmap map? thanks for any help!

Installed LNM v 2.6.7 today for the first time and placed a shortcut on my desktop (W10 PC) The LNM app crashes to desk top after about a minute of opening. Is there something I overlooked when downloading and installing this application? Thanks in advance, Ron M

I get an caught unknown exception in file ..\atools\src\gui\appli9cation.cpp line 85. It tells me that I should delete all settings and database files, but doesnt specify WHERE i can find those. I have reinstalled, and also checked that all my lnm folders in my documents are empty.

Little NavMap Default Directories Location Little navmap created a group of default directories under 'Little Navmap Files' which was great. I want to relocate all these directories to a different drive as I keep all my flight sim programs and files on one ssd card but I have not found out how to change or move these directories. I have just started so not concerned about losing any data just want to do this before I download the scenery data etc. Probably missing the obvious but any help would be appreciated.

Hi. can I display the multiplayer from "Kleiner Automat" via the status.txt in LNM? FSCLOUD works. We are a small group of MSFS2020 network fliers who do not belong to any network (VATSIM etc.) and we think LNM is great.

Hi, I first raised this as an issue last August and I think I resolved it but since then I have replaced my PC and have recently decided to get back into LNM. I have LNM on my default C drive and x-plane in on my J: drive. I have checked that the LNM plugin Little Xpconnect is correctly installed and confirmed working by x-plane. I have LNM set to connect automatically but it just says Connecting (XP) even when I run x-plane and am "sitting" in the cockpit. I have checked my anti-virus to make sure that's not stopping it. I tried to create a basic flight plan and it seemed to work but although I exported to x-plane and the fms shows in the correct fol…

... but it works with MSFS. That means Navconnect, Firewall, ... all good. What could be the problem or better to be asked, why does MSFS connect but P3D does not? Edit: Got it sorted. It seems to be mandatory to quit and to relaunch LittleNavmap Connect when one want to switch between the sims. Not sure this is the best way but it seems to work.

I'm trying to get the Steam version of FS2020 set up and working on a machine that has also has FSX:SE, P3Dv4, P3Dv5.1, and X-Plane 11.50r1 installed. I can't get it to work. I don't know if I have a simconnect version issue or if I have to modify the FS2020 version of the simconnect.xml file. What version of simconnect does FS2020 use? How can I check? I'm thinking it might be a version issue because I can't get Rex Weather Force 2020, FSWidgets, etc to connect either. I was able to get SpadNext to work by using the same ip address and port entry that P3D uses in the simconnect.xml for that and copying it into the .xml file for FS2020.- …

Hi, first of all, a thank you for making such a great tool for free and keep it updated! A newbie here so maybe it is a dumb question, but i could not find a good answer in the manual, the FAQ or googling to my problem. When i try to load scenery data from MSFS, it shows 0 loaded, and no error, and i while i can see airport if i select use Navgraph for all features, i cannot see airport if i choose any other option. and i dont see parking spaces etc at airport, so i suspect the scenery data is not loaded properly. Is there a way that the zoom does not change automatically while tracking the plane? I have searched for the option, but have been unable to find it. regards

Hi, Even when icons are activated and LNM connected to MSFS 2020, I can't see the icons for the aerodromes and airports on the map. Also, I can't see other people's aircraft. How can I solve that please ? I'm on windows 10, last 2.6.7 version of LNM, last update of MSFS20, the rest of the toggles like airspaces are working Cheers

When I was installing Xpconnect I messed up and when I opened xpl file I opened it with Acrobat Reader. Now Windows 10 will not allow me to change it, I have tried everything but now I can't use Xpconnect at all. Can someone help me with this ? Thanks so much, The Killer

Hello, I am discovering Little Nav out of curiosity, still not being absolutely knowledgeable about mfs X (Rod's lessons drive me nuts). I thought I would make a search on "altitude", but so far could not see the search window relating to this forum. My question is basic : I am trying to do flight plans with LNM, and it's not going bad -due to the huge work offered behind; Thank you so much. LNM flightplan is offering another altitude in the altitude profile than MFS X flightplan in its nav log : I suppose LNM info's are better than MFSX altitudes and I just have to not apply the altitude recommanded by MfsX. LNM Version 2.6.6 with FSMS2020 and actual Navigraph LNM does not find the airport Rostock/Laage and therefore it cannot be selected for a flightplan. However all Waypoints in the area are there, just not the airport. In MSFS2020 it is possible to select this airport for a flightplan, it's data and charts are also available in the Navigraph database. A separate try with Sinbrief also works for this airport. Any ideas what is wrong, or what I am doing wrong?

Hi Alex, I thought that I had read somewhere in the forum of a 'wish list' but a search reveals nothing! If there is such a thing as a wish list could I ask how difficult it would be to make available what I have heard described as the 'Boeing Banana'! This was a feature in the previous (alternative) planner/map that I used and was very useful as it gave a prediction (the blue banana) on the map at the location of the ascent/decent arrival point. Very useful if attempting a crossing point at a specific altitude where you could see if you were ahead or behind the curve... Hi Alex, a 'simple' query! My VA has included an arrival at the old Kai Tak (VHHX) just to challenge us I think! When building the flight plan I discovered that VHHX is not included in P3Dv5 and so was not showing up in LNM. After some juggling I managed to 'borrow' a couple of files from P3Dv4 which did include VHHX ~~~ created a folder 'Kai Tak' with a subfolder 'scenery' which contained the borrowed files. Ran the P3D5 scenery library and activated my 'new' VHHX ~~~ ran the LNM data base to include VHHX. Bravo! As a new Little Navmap user (just a few days now), I created and saved a Window Layout. I can display LNM with this layout through the "Window" > "Recent WIndow Layouts" menu and I can get back to the default layout via "Window" > "Reset Window Layout to Default". I often toggle between my custom layout and the default layout. Two Questions: Is there a way to map a shortcut key to my custom layout (and the default layout, for that matter)? Is there a way—when choosing the default layout—to prevent it from going to my other display monitor? After creating an ILS approach to KBKL Rwy 24R the approach changes when loaded to MSFS. I've chosen the direct approach in LNM; however, when loaded to MSFS a STAR gets loaded into the flight plan and the routing changes to accommodate the inserted transition and approach. What's happening; have I something configured wrong?

Hi LNM is reporting an altitude restriction error for a route using an airway even though LNM realises that owing to the descent profile the altitude will, in fact, be within the limits for the airway. Here's an example. Use this this route string to build a new route: VABB SAKUN V2 SUGID N571 VUSET A454 PASOV B540 MIVEK P574 IMPED OMDB. Planning this flight for a 737 at FL340, TOD is just after BORER. On B540, after PASOV, we have waypoints KUPMA and ORKOB until MIVEK. According to the descent profile LNM assumes the plane will be at just under 15,000ft at ORKOB and just under 13,000 at MIVEK. The airway altitude limits are between 6,500 and 25,000ft but LNM gives …
