Hello! I just redownloaded MSFS and LNM after a few months hiatus. I use addon linker to throw in hundreds of user airports to the Community folder. I then fired up LNM and loaded the DB which found many thousands of airports for MSFS. However none of the airport circles are yellow like they used to be symbolizing custom fields. Is there an additional step with the latest version 2.8.1 I need to do to enable this? Cheers UPDATE: i figured it out no worries. for anyone else, change the scenery libraries -> navigraph -> use navigraph for navaids and procedures only

Looking for an alternative to FS Economy that's fairly simple. I saw that a random route generator was requested way back when... but didn't see anything in the user guide about it. Has anything like this been done? thanks

Hi, Apologies if this is in here somewhere but I can't find it. I'm trying to make a VFR flight plan for the C152 then load it into MSFS so I can pop up the MSFS navlog in VR. I loaded performance data into LNM for the C152, found it showed cruise at 103 and edited that to 107 to match MSFS but when I load the PLN into MSFS it generates a navlog with one leg (still climbing) that it reckons will be done at 117knots. I have set wind speed to zero in MSFS. Is this just MSFS poor implementation or something I'm doing wrong please. Phil

Would it maybe be possible to add a kind of vertical wind diagram for a selected Waypoint? This means a display of how many wind and which direction the wind has in different altitudes for a selected waypoint. OK, there is already a Windlayer option implemented, but it shows the wind only for one altitude, but for all waypoints. I would like the opposite one. This is useful to determine, if a change in cruising altitude would make sense to get more tailwind or less headwind.

Hi Alex Just wondering if it is possible to have a number of map profiles, ie a map with airport labels and another profile with a map with no airport labels that you could switch between? The reason I am asking is I use the export to Avitab feature and I turn off airport labels (and other items) as Avitab has its own labels. I would also like a map with all the labels on for planning purposes, hence being able to switch easily between profiles. I hope I am clear. Many thanks John.

  7. Almost certainly answered somewhere, but I haven’t found it. Sometimes my logbook entries have “attachments” that include a GPX file, other tunes they don’t. I was trying to figure out the rhyme or reason there and found a mention of “flights must be finished for the track to be saved” … but what does “finished” actually mean? It doesn’t seem to be just landing … Thanks in advance for any help here …

  10. HI, I use Littlenav Map to make flight plans from scratch. 100% IFR flights because I fly on DeltaVA ACARS. I often first pick the departure and destination airports, pick their departure procedure and arrival procedures, calculate a route using jet airways, export to FSX-SE and save the LNMP file. I find it annoying when I need to look at the arrival I picked again including the runway to enter into the FMS in the simulator I find the list of arrival procedures just disappears. I have to go back through it all and figure out what I picked again to make sure the FMS and Littlenav Map flight plan are the same. My question is how do I keep the list of arriv…

  11. Hello, As the title says. The LNM program is crashing when I exit the application, with the message: "Error writing to settings file "c:/Users/Bruno/Appdata\Roaming/ABarthel/littlenavmap.ini" reason 1 I thought this might be a permissions issue from the file being in ..\appdata\roaming, etc, so I tried to add write permissions to "everyone" and also to "all application packages" to this folder, to no avail. If anyone has seen this before, could you please give me a clue to what this might be and how to fix it? Thanks, Bruno.

"Aircraft type "King Air" in simulator is not equal to type "B350" used in performance file." I've had this error since using Little Nav Map but never really bothered to figure out how to fix it till today. Where are the performance files at, and why do they not match? MSFS.

Is there any plan to add the ability to add Airways to a flight plan? My thought is that LMN already knows that a Waypoint is a part of Airways e.g. POL - Pole Hill. This waypoint has at least 10 Airways passing through it. So could I right click on POL and get a choice to Join Airway XXnnn. This would highlight the Airway and pop up a list of Waypoints for that Airway and you could then select one of these and select Exit and then Add to Route. Or something along those lines. I assume their might be a flaw in my idea but its an idea for whatever it may or may not be worth.

In prior versions I would create a plan including the approach with relevant IAF and fixes. I would print same and then export as P3D/FSX plan. When loading in FSX or P3D all would be fine. With this version ( I didn't check earlier versions) after I export the plan, when I load it I get Starting airport - IAF - Destination but none of the approach waypoints are there. Has something changed that I missed? EDIT - let me explain a little better - created fp from KHLC to KFWB using RNAV 03 approach with HARKS transition. Export to P3D/FSX format. Close/reopen LNM - new flightplan - Open fp - select the file I just saved - plan loads but only contains KHLC -…

I’ve recently upgraded from FSX to MSFS running on a new Dell pc with Windows 11. I have tried unsuccessfully four times to install Little Nav Map. Each time the program runs when first installed, but won’t restart after shutdown, I get a series of error messages beginning with “Code execution cannot proceed because libmarblewidgetQT5Gui.dll not found” I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions, I’ve got used to using LNM.

Hi Alex, Is it possible that when exporting VFR flight plan (To Ivao, to clipboard, I guess everywhere) that has known Ident waypoints, keep the Ident and not convert to coordinates ? https://mega.nz/file/hKZ3VbYS#Qe4JDDJWIk-vuVqMyJpROl4355G68tXKtFnbKinm0C8

  18. Hi, I flew into EIDW Dublin the other day on VATSIM, whilst using little navmap to track my aircraft on the ground (little navmap is very useful on vatsim because I can use it to track other aircraft too!). Anyway, I landed on runway 28 and ATC asked me to taxi to stand using taxiway Sierra, I was looking at little navmap at the time and couldn’t see S anywhere. So I checked the taxiway chart for the airport and the taxiway “S” on the chart was labelled as “B” in little navmap. Now I have Navigraph data and the EIDW Dublin scenery by MK Studios / orbx, and was under the impression that the taxiways data from the scenery would amend the little navmap taxiwa…

When I downloaded LNM version 2.8.1 beta it installed by default AIRAC cycle 2106. The manual for LNM explains you use the Navigraph Data center app for MSFS 2020 and not FMS data manager is that correct? When I go to the Navigraph data center there is no link to update the AIRAC in LNM, Can anyone explain how I can update the default cycle to AIRAC 2210 which is the current one, Thank you.

  20. Sometimes I like to explore the surrounding of a map location in Google Maps. Actually it is a bit difficult to find this in Maps, when it does not have a name, where I can search for. So it would be nice, when there would be the option to right-click in the map anywhere and there is in the contect-Menu under "more" an option to display just this position in google maps.

  21. Hi Alex, I would like to import a flightplan into Pilot2ATC that has been created in LittleNavMap that includes a SID, STAR and ILS APPROACH. In Pilot2ATC, I can only import the following formats: 1. .PLN file 2. From the clipboard in formats shown in the screenshot below 3. From SimBrief directly Whatever format I try, the SID, STAR or APPROACH are always missing. I have also posted on the Pilot2ATC forums to see if it is an import issue on their side. It would be amazing if LNM was an import option in Pilot2ATC for more complicated routes. Thank you as always for the best flight planner out there! Toby

Hey! There is a nice feature in LNM that shows me all my addon airports with a yellow circle. Also I can use this in the search function. But there is a problem: We have several encrypted airport sceneries. And LNM cannot show them to me as "Addon" with the yellow circle. So I have a suggestion to implement a function where I can right click on any airport and check an "Addon" option to treat this the same as the addons in the scenery library that come with the search function being found. Also I should be able to uncheck the "Addon" option. It would be great, to have these function!
