Given it uses the garmin trainer ... finally a decent GTN ... can this be done, therefore bypassing the need to use the debacle of the msfs flight planning system.

I am having a lot of difficulty achieving success with importing a flyable flight plan for CYOW_CYUL into the FMS of the JF BAE 146. Initially I tried using SimBrief but found it confusing. I tried an MSFS flight plan created with LittleNavMap (I find that a lot more intuitive and illustrative of what I am trying to create than SimBrief) from CYOW25gate28 to CYUL24R. I loaded this into the FMS and succeeded in deleting the discontinuities and the flight plan looked okay to CYUL. I managed to get airborne and connected to the flight plan through LNAV but before I reached Montreal there was a disconnect by the aircraft (at a “manual” waypoint, which had been app…

I'm having trouble importing a CSV file into the LNM logbook that was exported from SimToolkitPro. I won't populate the fields correctly. Hi Folks. I wondered about the designation (T) in the LNM Approach ILS 21 (T). I made a search and discovered that there are two different types....(T) and (Q). However, I did not bookmark the site and now I cannot remember the definition of the (T) and (Q) in the ILS. Does anyone have that information? Thanks...Kenny.

Hi, would like to know if the removal from the command bar the button to toggle keeping the user plane centered in the map which I found very usefull) was a choice or a bug, because the possibility still exist on the map menu, with the same icon that in the command bar is esed for showing the user plane. Another issue is that the button in the command line to show the plane track, when pressed show or cancel the track of previous flight together with the one of the new flight. If you want to show only the new flight you have to close and restart the program before the flight. Previously you could keep the program open and deleting the track before starting a new fli…

I just started using LNM more closely to help visualize certain things, especially SIDs/STARs and approaches. Please forgive my ignorance if this has been covered, but a search turns up so many things that aren't actually my question. (That, and I'm not sure where to find everything yet...) Anyway - I really like the "Night" style with everything dark (especially at night!). I can't find some of the map elements in Options, though, and some are too dark, or rather hard to see/read with a dark background: Again I'm not sure if I know where to find these things to change the color (if possible). Hi, I am using version 2.8.8, which seems to be the latest. I am relatively new to this software. I watched some tutorials and I realized that my elevation profile looks different to the ones I watched, and I cannot find the way to change it. As you can see in the first image the flight plan shows a climb and decent paths, while in the second, the whole path is flat on the top. I'd like to have the former option. How do I do that? Thanks

Is there any way to add a space before & after (or space around) the text in the labels? They tend to collide with the left edge a little bit: Also would love if we could select the color & transparency of the labels! thanks

I've created a bgl file from MSFS SDK that deletes underlying taxiways and parking spots from a payware airport, so I can add them correctly. I have MSFS loading my bgl file last. It looks and works fine in the sim, but LNM is showing all the old taxiways and parking spots on its map. Any ideas why this is happening? Does LNM use the simconnect navdata API, or does it read bgl files, to find the correct information of objects that are active?

Hi all, I have noticed some missing class E airspaces that are visible in Navigraph VFR desktop app map but not in Little Navmap (i.e. just around PADQ). The same E class airspace is not visible in Navigraph Low IFR desktop map. Is there anyway to make it appear in Little Navmap? Thanks a lot.

When I request Taxi from ATC I am given a route to the departure runway. If I have the appropriate Assistance option set to make the taxi route visible I then have a graphic to lead me in the correct direction. Similarly after landing, when I request taxi to the gate (or parking) I can again get guidance. I'm wondering if such paths can be shown on the Navmap and on the remote map. I realise that the infomation may not be provided by MSFS and so may not be possible. If the information is there then, perhaps this could be considered for a future enhancement. Trevor

Greetings Alex, I have discovered an error on the map display of two airports I created in MSFS SDK. I believe they used to display correctly on LNM but I am not sure how many versions ago that was. The correct info is in the SDK, the aircraft shows the correct elevation when at the airport but the LNM airport data is wrong. Here are two screenshots of one of my two airports. I have LNM on a second (linux) Laptop. I copied the databases and all seems to work. Also i pointed to the windows PC weather Folder. But when i look up the weather for an airport, only NOAA is shown.

Hello. I changed from LNM 2.6.19 to 2.8.8. One "issue" is that the parking positions and taxiways are now displayed later than before. I have to zoom in quite more to see them on the map. I did not found a setting to change the zoom level from which on these items are displayed. Can anyone tell me if such a setting is available and where I may find it. At this sample I have to zoom in three more steps to see taxiways and parking positions again, which is too much, for my taste.

Hello I have used Little Navmap for several years and can’t imagine flying without this program! I want to move LNM to a remote PC so I read the documentation and but I think I am missing something. My setup is a home wired network with 2 PC’s a few feet apart. P3Dv4.5 is on my flight PC (FPC) including my original version of LNM as well as Active Sky Weather. I copied a clean version of LNM (the same version as my FPC, win32-2.8.7) to my remote PC (REM). I then ran LNM on the REM and had it create a recommended directory structure then closed LNM. On my FPC I started LNM and used Load Scenery Library to create a database (little_navmap_db) in C:\Users\…

I am using the Webserver and I succeeded to write my first server page and can control now a LNM map with Axis and Ohs using an Xtouch Mini Controller. The test.html example was very helpful. The only question l have is if there is a way to get the airport information as .json object from the server. I saw a docu for an api interface in the web folder but was not successful to use it. Hello, In a number of airports gate numbers shown by LNM do not agree with the real numbers. It can create confusion when dealing with ground controllers. Is there a way to adjust the sceneries? cheers luc
