Since updating to 2.8.7 when I run the scenery library update I'm inundated with airports that show as "Addon" when I don't own them in my community folder. I've tried to load the scenery database with exclusions like "official", for example, but no luck. I just want the airports in my community folder to show. Any help please?

Hi, I've been using LNM for a few months and think it's fantastic! When flying in VR I use the All In One Ingamepanels tablet which lets you use the LNM web interface. It works well enough for what you need to do while flying. I especially like the new changes to the web interface that are in the beta version. However there's a couple things I'd like to see improved and wanted to make some suggestions. The below is what I normally see while I'm flying. These screenshots are viewing in flat-screen, but it looks the same in VR. So I just wanted to mention the 4 orange arrows that let you scroll around the map are very pixelated and bad looking compared to the…

Just downloaded win64-2.8.7 but I get a Windows error when I try to launch. "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." The path specified in the error dialog is "C:\Users\<my name>\Desktop\LittleNavmap-win64-2.8.7\littlenavmap.exe.". I've tried copying the folder to another folder and to another drive but get the same results. I've checked permissions and that is not the problem. I've also set the program to run as Administrator but no luck. Any help appreciated.

It would be absolutely awesome, if it is any possible to see the MSFS drone camera position in littleNavMap. This would make it a lot easier to explore the region without flying the plane.

Hello, I have a great suggestion that I think everyone would appreciate. My suggestion is an option to import pdf files, overlay them onto the map, then the user manually moves the chart for their f-plan. The flight plan route could be on top of the pdf, so the route matches any SID or STAR. Obviously, this is just a suggestion and I am aware that features like this are difficult to implement. Here is a picture of how it would look like. Many thanks for your great software, Kyz

Hi, I tried to search for this issue both here on avsim and across the internet in general. I bought Aerosoft's Antartica Rothera addon a few days ago and its airport, EGAR, is not showing up on Little Navmap for some reason. When zoomed in, the airport is there, but not selectable. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

I only want to use LNM for maps and scenery as I fly in X plane 11. If I have it open and click it when I am flying will it show me on a LNM map instead of the X 11 map...?

  10. This is a hint if you use the LittleNavmapOFMTheme which allows to use the open flightmaps service in LNM and see back squares on the map. You have to adapt the text file openflightmaps.dgml for each new (monthly?) OFM release. Replace the query="path=2203/base/latest" with query="path=2207/base/latest" or similar depending on the latest cycle. You have to do this two times in the file and clear the map cache for OFM in LNM. Best way to do this is to delete the folder openflightmaps which is located here on Windows: C:\Users\alex\AppData\Local\.marble\data\maps\earth\openflightmaps. See here for the path on other operating systems: https://www.littlenavmap.org/m…

  11. I noticed with the new DC-3 I rarely (almost never) get any climb performance numbers from the "Current Performance" tab of the Flight Planning page. I always get Taxi Fuel...about 50% of the time I get Cruise numbers and rarely get descent numbers. Yet the page always knows what the aircraft is doing and reports Aircraft status as Climbing or whatever it is doing. If I use the "Simulator Aircraft" report from the Window tab it will always report all performance numbers. I tried a couple of other aircraft, and they work normally. I also tried using the vanilla version and the several mods...no difference. Any ideas? Thanks, Garry

This happens on my client PC but not my Flying PC. If I enter the URL directly into my web browser is download the file. Any ideas of what is happening? Thanks

Hi all, First time on here and as a beginner I am spending copious amounts of time going through each step of setup. Had LNM working without much experience from my end and have learnt that if you are entering flight simulation, buyer beware and make sure you setup by the book. That said, when going through "Load Scenery Library Files" (MSFS 2020) I am getting the following appear. Microsoft/ASOBO nothing like making our lives difficult. Any assistance would be appreciated. Just one final question, is there any reason we can't use XPlane 12 as our scenery library? Found 10 notes in 10 scenery entries when loading the scenery database So…

Hi all! On Ubuntu 22.10 there are probably some dependencies missing for Little Navmap. Google unfortunately gives me so much info on the subject back that I am now even more stupid than before. Hi, I really love Little Navmap and have had little trouble with it in the past but I'm having an issue lately with the elevation profile. I'm importing my flight plan from SimBrief for EGLL to EGCC but I can't get Little NavMap to show me the elevation profile even though there are no errors in the flight plan. It shows the cruise altitude but there is no climb or descent. The altitude looks correct in the flight plan. Here is a screenshot:

Apologies - placed this on wrong forum 2 days ago, I placed the following request and just realized that I didn't mention the fact that my problem was in Little Map ""I have just loaded the new upgrade - and learning the new bits - very good However - I just cannot find how - or where - to install the extra maps / google satellite etc that used to be on the top lines i.e, Mercator and Open Street maps""

  18. Guys, can I find out what is the glideslope capture altitude from the Little Navmap map? It gives the angle (like 3 degrees) but I don't see GS capture altitude. I don't make flight plans in LNM. I use Simbrief instead. Thanks.

First off, I'd like to express how grateful I am to have LittleNavMap. It is a fantastic program, especially with the addition of Mapbox overlays. I use LittleNavMap in conjunction with Simbrief. Since upgrading to the latest version of LittleNavMap, I'm seeing a significant difference in my altitude in FS as compared to what I see in LNM. I'm currently cruising at FL390 in sim and according to LNM, I am at FL370. This discrepancy occurred right after I upgraded LNM. Any suggestions or recommendations I can implement to rectify this? Thanks! Adam

  23. Hello, I'm using MSFS (switched from X-Plane 11) with LittleNavMap, SimToolkit Pro and SimBrief. I ran into an issue where the elevation profile completely stopped displaying terrain since cca three flights ago. I think it started with the 2.8.6 rc2 version of LNM, but i'm not 100% sure if it started happening after a specific update. In any case, the elevation profile shows the waypoints and the altitude profile of the route, but not the terrain. I don't recall doing anything differently when planning the flights (in comparison to flights where it did show the terrain). I search for a departure airport, select it as departure, then select destination, the…

Hi. I am using the latest version 2.8.7 of LNM. I like to see the Departure and Destination indent in the aircraft map labels. I am only able to see this info if I zoom the map rose to 2nm. How can one adjust the zoom level at which the map label will show the Departure and Destination indent?

I apparently have done something, set a setting, etc, that prevents me from toggling MORA and City Names on and off (MORA is stuck off and City Names on). The menu buttons that control these features do not move when clicked. I have tried different maps, currently using Stamen Terrain. What have I done and how can I fix it? I am using the latest version of LNM that was just released and MSFS 2020. Thanks, Al EDIT: I had Navigraph turned off, that 's why "MORA" did work, so that's fixed. Still can't toggle City Names on and off.
