Hello. Have tried to load Little NavMap, but the exe file is not available. Windows 11, MSFS2020 installed, Nvidia 3080 Video Card. Have tried both Beta an Stable versions. Have tried downloading to different directories. Have tried even with MSFS running, all to no avail. I assume this is either a Windows 11 problem, or I have missed something! Any ideas please!!!!

Hi, I write flight plans for people and try to make them as universal as possible. Little Nav Map is still at the default AIRAC 1801 via Navigraph. Can this be universally updated in the next update to at least AIRAC 2103 which is the free AIRAC available for Flight Sim users. And keep the default current to the free AIRAC the Flight Sim users have. Navigraph subscription is now on AIRAC 2210 and MSFS just updated their AIRAC to 2210 (Oct 06 2022). (I know Navigraph subscribers can update littlenavmap through FMS). This will keep LittleNavMap at a universal level of access. Thanks, NightHawk.

I am running a remote configuration for Little NavMap. With Beta 2.8.0 I cannot load scenery database files as the "Load Scenery Library" is grayed out and has (no simulator) next to it. Also my copied database files for XP11 and 12 with the airac cycle says the same (no simulator) next to them. What's wrong with my setup?

There's something weird going on, at least on Linux - see this thread (it's in German, but the Little Navmap dev knows German 😉). For non Germans: Little XPconnect prevents exclusions to work correctly - we don't know yet whether it's the same on Windows and Mac.

I have downloaded the latest beta release of LNM and I see a new column called Related Ident / Freq / Dist /Bearing is available but nothing is shown in it and I don't understand how to enable it

I have added some airports to my comminity folder and I am trying to update the scenery in Little Navmap. When I go to theScenery Library tab and select Load Scenery, I get an error message saying that an error was encountered reading content.xml. The file ends prematurely. Any suggestions?

Would it be possible to show the distance between the TOC and the TOD on the elevation profile? That would help in determining if my cruise altitude is too high for my route. It shows the distance from the departure and also to the destination but not the cruise segment. (I know I can calculate it, but this would save a step) Thanks

Could anyone explain why the magnetic course shown in the flight plan legs show a different degree than when I use the distance function from the vor? For instance, flying from OTK to VNA on my flight plan (yellow ribbon) shows 87nm / 352M on the map. If I use the distance function from OTK and overlay it on the flight plan ribbon, it displays 355M > 358M and 353T. Where did 352M on the flight plan leg ribbon come from? Seems that 355 is correct as this is what shows up on Skyvector when inputting the same flightplan. How do I get the flight plan ribbon with the distance / magnetic number to show 355M? Do I have a configuration setup incorrect…

Hello Alex, Since yesterday (after last update MSFS2020) its impossible to export a flightplan from LNM to MSFS2020. It gives me long "legs" to the Northpole ? in the map from MSFS2020 and later in the G1000 NXi (updated also in MSFS2020) Every flightplan i used last month has that, so i can't load navigation to the G1000 to fly... Installel'd LNM last version (Beta 2.8.0) No solution. All flightplans are VFR, as i'm flying a VFR tour. Reload the scenery database as usual after an MSFS2020 update. Is it possible to display the range rings for ALL VOR's, not just the ones in the flightplan? I would like to fly old school using VOR's only and when planning a flight, it would be helpful to know what is out of range so I can select another VOR. Thanks

There is a manual reload option but that option that does not seem to be clickable. If I hit the big reload icon it updates the position of the aircraft however I would like it to function as a moving map in sim if possible. Thanks

Hey Guys, anybody know how i can disable the heading of the simulator aircraft ? My Goal is it to keep the tracking, if i turn it on, but hide it via the flight to train myself in navigation. I could of course disable the simulator connection all together, but then i cant check where i went of course afterwards right now the only thing i seem to be able to disable is the yellow aircraft, but you still see the final altitude indicator and the heading.

I wish to log an around the world flight. I will only use an aircraft for that purpose, no other flights for that aircraft. I wish to log these flights cumulatively. Can I zero out the logbook and have it reset for all aircraft? I read chapter 23 of the manual and did not see this discussed. If I can't, I suppose I can export the CVS file when completed into Excel and calculate my trip stats. However, I don't believe I saw any date fields. It would be great to have the logbook keep trip stats and still fly other aircraft. I could add turn on/off logbook to my checklist. Any suggestions appreciated.

Sometimes, It is hard for me to spot the little yellow default sim aircraft on the moving maps. especially over fall colored terrain. Is it possible for the user to select the color( like Navy blue as an example) for his aircraft? OR change the size to slightly bigger so that it stands out more? Are default aircraft color and size, user selectable in options? Best Regards Hari

Hi Alex, Have the latest beta version, XP11, I think this happened to me in the past as well, can't remember though 🙂 I have added anew airport to my scenery, it's available in the scenery_Pack.ini, not disabled. Re-built the scenery library (load scenery library ..), and yet, it won't point to the directory that contains this airport, but rather to the "Global Airports" apt.dat. Actually, now, looking at it, it won't show the right directory for any airport, even ones it did show it for in earlier versions. Weird. What could be the reason for that ? Thanks, Doron.

Is there an option to show the en-route weather and airspace in the flight elevation profile like in Sky Demon?

Using version 2.80 beta I've noticed on long flights that the TFP will suddenly disappear after an hour or so. The icon is still highlighted in the View menu and toggling it on/off has no effect. On one occasion it came back by itself many minutes later. Have I missed a setting? Thanx, Vic

Hi Just did my first couple of flights using Little Navmap and have to say I'm sold (even thought it's free, donation incoming 😉 ) In the past I've been using SimToolkitPro. One feature that I liked were the landing reports. These "reports" showed things like pitch, roll, speed and touchdown point in relation to the runway threshold. Is the anything along the same lines in Little Navmap? I couldn't see from a bit of hunting through the help pages, but I could quite easily have missed it if it's there. Cheers Phil

I am using a laptop with a connected widescreen monitor set as extended. I use the laptop screen for LNM and the attached screen for X-Plane. The Monitor is configured in Windows 11 to be the main screen. LNM splash screen opens on the monitor but transfers to the laptop when the program runs. Problem is the fonts and size of the window are always messed up, I can correct it by disabling high DPI monitor support and restart but the text height is then wrong in the flight plan, I then have to re-enable DPI monitor support to get it right. Also the text info boxes spill out from the laptop onto the other screen, outside the borders of LNM Is the any…
