Hello, I have installed V6 , no addons only FSUIPC, All OK After Starting Little Nav ( no installation, the one that was already installed for V5) and loading Scenery all seams OK BUT 1/ Littel Nav sees V5 no V6 2/ Only 1 type of Map is available Thanks in advance

Trying to establish a network connection between a desktop sim computer and a laptop map view client. I keep getting timeout errors, using what I think is the connection method described in the User Manual. The desktop is running Windows 11 Pro with LNM version win64-2.8.11. Littlenavconnect and MSFS are both running on the desktop, with LNM on the laptop. A flight is selected, sitting on the runway with the engine running. The data base files are copied to the laptop. The firewalls on both computers are set to allow littlenavmap.exe and littlenavconnect.exe from their respective location paths. As I have run out of ideas, any advice would be mos…

Hello, Is there a way to force a 4 letter ident when searching for a random flight? For example, Africa as a whole has idents that start with f, h, d, and g. If i seach for F* I get stuff like F00 in America. If i search for F*** I get the same list, because * is simply a wildcard. Is there a way to do something like a regular expression like F[a-z][a-z][a-z] so that i only get 4 character ident codes starting with F? Sorry if this makes no sense. I like the random flight function a lot but would like to isolate the possible airports not just by runway length and features but also (what i presume are) country codes.

Hello there, First and foremost, thank you Alex for this wonderful program! I pretty much use it all the time when simming nowadays, it makes life so much easier! Would it be possible to use static images as a background? I am well aware that non-vector images will causes some ugliness depending on the scale, but there are quite a few geo-referenced TIFFs that would come in handy. Thanks a lot! Cheers Romain

I have LNM installed on my desktop and laptop (for making flight plans from the couch 🙂). I have noticed a subtle, yet bothersome difference between the two, and am likely just missing something subtle, wonder if anyone can point it out. Same version installed on both machines. 2.8.11 Same settings in Tools / Options (I have gone through each page and compared). When zoomed out to a desired distance around an airport, I select different STARs and see where they come from. On laptop, the UI does not recenter or zoom on selection change. Hello albar965, thank you for another great update to Litte Navmap :-) Could searching for add-ons in additional folders include additional subfolders? At the moment, the search only works in the folder directly containing add-ons subfolders, and the problem is that I have a more extensive file structure, e.g.: \MSFS_addons\Scenery\Europe\Belgium\*addons folders* So far I've gotten around the problem by adding subfolders manually, but with dozens it gets a bit tiresome. Hopefully you will be able to add such functionality extension in future updates.

I noticed when using X-Plane 12, there is a difference in the displayed vehicle altitude on the map and the altitude shown in the elevation profile window. This prompts PF3 to keep telling me to maintain the target altitude.

Hello, I do play msfs2020 in cloud and im not able to import scenery data into little navmap. Is there any way to import msfs2020 data without having it installed locally? Another option is that i can ask a friend to zip and send me the required files from msfs2020 if that works. But still i need to know the folder names i will be needing. Thank you,

Hi Alex, I love what your doing with Little Navmap its a great program. The problem I'm having though is no sids or stars are showing in the procedure tab, just approaches with the "All Runways" drop down box is there. I have an active subscription to both fsAerodata and Navigraph. The fsAerodata configuration tool reports that my FSX:SE database is updated and installed. I also see the fsAerodata directory in my documents being scanned by LNM when loading the scenery library. Ive also noticed that when LNM finishes scanning it shows 214372 waypoints, but if I close the box and open load scenery library again it shows 166380 waypoints. A few other numbers change…

When Littlenavmap is started the map loads at maximum zoom-out scale (8000nm). Would it be possible to have a user setting to specify a preferred startup scale, e.g 30nm?

First of all some nice quality of life changes with the new update. Thank you. I buy a Navigraph database 2-3 times a year so I am often a few AIRAC cycles out of date. I was wondering how the Scenery Library should be set up as a result. Should I set up the Scenery Library with "Use Navigraph for all Features" or "Use Navigraph for Navaids and Procedures" ? I notice when I select "Do not use Navigraph Database" I lose some detail in the airport information ex transition altitudes.

Hi, The base folder is unzipped. I click on the littlenavmap.exe and nothing happens. I don't see any indication on screen that anything is happening. Any suggestions what to do next? I did try removing the Filename= from the ini file, no difference. It still didn't start. Windows 11 doesn't like something in there, I've just put LNM 2.8.10 back in service and everything works OK.

Having created some flight plans in LittleNavMap, incorporating SID’s and STAR’s/Approaches, I have often been experiencing errors of “Not in Data Base” when entering the flight plan components into the FMS of the Just Flight BAE146 for MSFS 2020. These error messages all seem to be waypoints on the LNM map, within the SIDS or STARS or Approaches. Presumably these waypoints came directly from the MSFS database when building the scenery library? Also presumably, the JF BAE146 must be loading its data from the same MSFS database? Hi, although in 2.8.11 the filter for airports to import was improved, there are still a lot of addon airports that are not imported into the scenery library. Hi, I know that the online centers are displayed as circular airspace. I use Ivao network and I wish to have the real center boundaries shown on the map instead of the circular airspaces. Online help of LNM says that you need to use an OpenAir airspace file that contains all the Center boundaries, I am not able to create it, does anyone know where to download it ready-made (for the whole world)? I am using P3D v4.5 and lnm v2.8.10 Every now and then lnm gets an error 'too many connection errors' and P3D crashes (CTD) . Besides connected to IVAO, no other addons are running

Hello, Can't say thanks enough for all the work put into Little Navmap. I've been using it to plot lines of position with the celestial nav addon for MSFS, and I've found one little convenience item that would be nice, if it's easy. It would be great to be able to create a line measurement, click to anchor it, and then be able to grab the beginning point of it and rotate the line around the endpoint that you'd anchored. This would be handy any time you needed to measure a course and distance to a point, and then make another measurement FROM that point. Just wondering from which files or databases Little NavMap gets the SID and STAR data from to draw it on the maps?

I can see transmitter users in LNM, but it's difficult to hover the mouse over them to identify while flying. Is there a setting to show any information specific to that multiplayer?

I have searched all alternate website given in an old post and I have also searched for others relevant posts but... nothing ! So sorry to bother with that but how can I get this data ? When planning an arrival at KATL, we are given 2 runway lengths. I understand displaced thresholds for arriving aircraft, but these lengths differ by only 2 feet. Are these displaced thresholds or something else? Thanks.
