Hello, I just bought chaseplane after seeing all these incredible videos aboiut how good it is etc... So anyways I bought it together with PrecipitFx and that worked like perfectly. Then I tried to start Chaseplane (in sim out sim, tried everything) and it doesn't even open like in any way. I have FS UIPC installed and I'm running on the P3D V3.4.22.19868 with Windows 10. Even the Chaseplane crashlog didn't even generate anything. I am loving chase plane, purchased yesterday. One annoyance though, to type into the NGX FMC using the keyboard you can hold TAB and type. I assume other PMDG's work the same way. Now with chaseplane any shared shortcut reacts to the key press even when I have TAB pressed down. I don't see a way to fix that. It would be great to use my num pad for view shortcuts but not have the camera move all other when I'm holding TAB + typing in weights etc to the FMC. Am I missing a choice? If not hopefully this gets put in someones suggestion box for the future. Not sure if it is hard to program an "if key X is held, ignore shortcuts"

Hello, My Chaseplane install seems to have been corrupted somehow on one of the updates. My P3D install worked perfectly for a while. Then I did not have the chance to use my computer for about a week. When I started up P3D ChasePlane let me know about some updates it had. When I loaded into an airport it's self my computer would run at its normal 80-90 FPS for about 2-5 seconds then have a stutter where the FPS drops to 20 for a second then goes back up and this frustrating thing repeats nonstop. The second issue is none of the default Virtual Cockpit views, or any view for that matter on any plane, are correct. The views are all about 5-6 feet to offset of where…

Hi, I've set up a wireless Xbox 360 controller as my ChasePlane control. Trouble is, on longer flights the controller decides to switch itself off after a period of inactivity - after which my view starts spinning left-right. This is presumably due to one of the sticks being my left/right pan control and without the controller being switched on ChasePlane decides it's getting 0 or max input and the view spins. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to stop this - other than periodically using the controller to stop it switching off? It's not really a huge hassle to restart the Xbox controller and restore the view, it's just a nuisance to have to deal with the "w…

I love chaseplane cockpit effects, but I feel that we need more realism for external views. Can we please have some true "chaseplane" aircraft drift effects in external views? Camera shake effects provide realism in the cockpit, but aircraft drift in external views ads to the overfall cinematic effect and is great for video recordings and added immersion. Something like this .....

Hi all I would like to prevent Chaseplane from automaticly removing ExDok 2 from FSX:SE when I start P3D. It changes EXE.xml and camera definitions. I can fix it easy enough but I think its bad form to change the Unused Simulator. Thanks great product. Im running 0.1.627 Alpa with P3D v3.

Hi there, First of all just say that Im delighted with the product. My question is if are you aware that, for example, you are turning your aircraft, and because of turbulence effects the view tilts an important amunt of degrees, when you 'transition' to another view that has turbulence disabled, It does from the 'default' position of the view, not from the 'altered' position because of turbulence... like if it resets the turbulence effects before moving to the other view... 'killing' the transition effect... I guess this is not even a bug, just somthing not developed or considered yet, just wanted to make sure you are aware of it if you are not already... and…

Hello big issue, i wanted to install the new HF4 from p3d (3.4.22 only the client) but some of my addons didn't work so i came back reinstalling the client from 3.4.18 but now CP doesn't connect to P3D, i tried to unsinstall it and install it but no success It works great on FSX:SE thanks JM

I have a X52 pro and a Saitek Yoke. The thing I find annoying between switching between the two hardware devices is the need to totally reconfigure my controller keymapping's in ChasePlane again and again. I would love it if we can create control setups like Camera Settings. Name your controller config and switch between them. I like to stick views on my stick/yoke and currently every time I have to go into chase plane and re map the controls.

Hello! I've seen the update logs recently and noticed it said it fixed the mouse at the bottom of the screen when looking around with chase plane. I still have this issue. And its been bugging me so much I just decided to stop using chase plane for now. Is there any solution/fix I can do to stop this from occurring. Thank you

OK love this Product but just updated chase plane to Version 0.1.627 and it seems like chase plane is blocking any key commands going to the Track IR software. For instance pressing F12 always re centers my TIR camera and pressing F9 pauses it. In the sim pressing any of the keys to center and/or pause has no response. only if i bring up the trackir windows does it work. also this is the same if i map both center and pause key to a joystick button. So it seams to be a blocking of the commands to the TIR software.

So here is a question that I just can't seem to find an answer to. It would be foolish to say that I expect to have everything work perfectly especially while in a Beta...so here's the issue, and lets see if anyone has a fix or answer! Hi, Hope someone can help me solve this frustrating issue with my Xbox Controller. I’ve tried to set up my wireless controller with Chaseplane as per the fantastic demo on youtube by AirDailyX. I used this demo as it’s easy to understand as I’m no expert. I want to use the controller solely for Chaseplane camera views. The problem is the right thumbstick behaves very erratic where it always returns to the original position when my thumb is released. But it also always snaps to a different position when panning around as well as when returning to the original position. Hi Keven: Since yesterday my CP is not launching together with P3D even with the option selected in the PREFERENCE page. So, I need to open it after P3D has launched every time. I see the CP entry in my exe.xml file in %AppData% folder, so I don't know what could be happening. Do you suggest something?. Thanks in advance, Ed

Hi, I'm new to ChasePlane but after discovering it in Froogle, it has encouraged me to dust off FSX and get back into it. Well worth the effort especially after struggling with TrackIR and EZDoc which basically had me give up a couple of years back. Thank you. I have a couple of questions. 1) When I run the PMDG 777, with ChasePlane on a second monitor, when I click in ChasePlane the sim keeps running but the sound stops. With the PMDG 737 the sound keeps going. I imported camera presets from my ancient EZDoc setup. I'm getting a distinct pop in the aircraft sounds about every 5 seconds. When I close ChasePlane the pop goes away (sounds are smooth). When I restart ChasePlane the 5 second looping pop returns. Is ChasePlane polling something about every 5 seconds that could be interfering with the smoothness of the packs/engine sounds? Thanks.

Hello, chaseplane is still stuttering when i look around at a denser airport, I tried the default p3d view and it doesn't stutter. I know a previous update was meant to fix this but it hasn't on mine. Cheers

Saw your reviews Frooglesim and others and looks like a good program. Understandably in Alpha stage and fully on board with that so I purchased ChasePlane. Look like a simple enough download and run but not to be so. Downloaded with VFXCentral, get my desktop icon for VXFCentral plus get the CasePlane icon on the desktop. I have FSX with the Acceleration Pack, my only addon is Ifly737 which I have downloaded into its own file in C:/ drive not in the (x86) programs files. Your program is in the (x86) program.
