ChasePlane Support

Gents Frist of all keep up the good work, I like the programm vey much and understand that it is an Alpha version. My issues is that since the update 2 before the one today (06.02) chaseplane (exp. v0.1.604) takes for ever to load. If it is loaded, both LED in TrackIr are light up, but the movemnts do not happen. every 3-5 Min it works for 10 sec. and thean it blocks again. So for me it is for the moment unuasable and I have to de-install it. My Specs: WIN 10Home Ver 1607, 64 bit CPU i7-5930, @4.38 MHz (6 core) NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 I have steady 30 FPS (limited) wiht almost all planes, using P3D V3.4 without the last update (SLi), as TACPAC is not yet upgra…

I've been doing a flight over the last couple of days (unable to complete in one) at first, the random view cycling I put down to my Saitek controls, but having done everything I need to stop the controls making the random cycle, I'm still experiencing this issue. So the other night, I noticed a forum page that suggested it was the FSX-SE that was causing the issue, but with the simulator running, I've been unable to test this. That was until my Chaseplane crashed, after force closing the software, the random view cycles stopped. I've ran the simulator for 4 hours without the programme running, and no apparent view changes have taken place, until I restarted Chase…

1) CP downloaded the update v0.1.579, and notes say that now CP should close itself automaticaly if launched by FSX(SE), but it doesn't happen. At least for me. Same as VFXcentral. 2) Static cameras now require access to Scenery.cfg, but for some reason my CP can't find it. I was unable to find the way to show this path to it. Is there some trick? Otherwise everything works good so far.

I just updated ChasePlane and they added zoom when you press the middle mouse button, this is so annoying, is there anyway to get rid of it?

When I start Chaseplane, I get the following error: Downloaded file is not signed from Oldprop Solutions Inc.

I go to outside to make a view and I only se the bulk head. Any Ideas or solution

Hello guys, 1st let me clarify I like chase plane and I been using it for over a month, now today I had an issue, takeoff, cruise all normal, as soon as I start descending I started to hear the Cpu alert so I knew something was going to happen, I was on the PMDG NGX and as soon as I was on final my panel basically stopped working, every display stopped then more and more the alert, i was able to touch down not knowing if my flaps were down or my gear, right at reverse thrust the FSX crashed to desktop, my pc is not bad I think, please guys how can I prevent that?? Hello guys, I posted last week and im still having issues with VAS, Ive done everything I can including loading only the airports I really need to use during my flight but still having the same issue, my VAS drops drastic and I think my machine can handle it, not sure if I need to choose the dynamic select CPU option or not, please let me know and maybe this can fix the issue, also I use task manager to select the core affinity of any addons running, thanks for any help

Whenever I however over a button that shows a label in the Dash 8 my view zooms out like crazy (see screenshot). After a couple of seconds it returns to the normal view. Makes flying a decent landing difficult Running ChasePlane 1.595

I can't get ChasePlane to stop updating to the experimental version. I uninstalled, removed settings from the registry (it kept setting the releaseMode key to beta), reinstalled, still updates to experimental. Experimental version launches, then freezes, then eventually get to the configure screen (about 5 minutes later) then freezes again. How do I get it to stop updating to experimental?? Ok I am in the process of a complete reinstall of P3D v3. And now I am stumbling into a problem that I can't figure out. I currently tried reinstalling VFXCentral and Chaseplane, but for some reason it doesn't seem to install correctly. First of P3D v3 doesn't auto-open Chaseplane and I cannot even open it (It won't start) manually and secondly (I can't remember exactly if it's suppose to be like this) There is only the Chaseplane.exe in the main folder of Chaseplane. Looking forward for some ideas and possible solutions. PS: Had no issues prior to reinstalling. Even went through a reinstall process including chaseplane without problems. Thanks and Cheers, Ama…

Recently switched from EzDok to ChasePlane. One of the things I noticed is that when I'm punching my flightplan into the FMC or typing anything into the simulator (saving a scenario for example) anytime I hit the "A" or "S" keys (switch between inside/outside cameras, go to next camera - respectively) the view changes. EzDok did not exhibit this behavior. Any thoughts if there is a fix for this?

I noticed yesterday when I use the horizon slider effect in P3D the VC stutter/pauses when I turn let/right, I know that what is causing the problem because when I disable the slider the problem disappears. Any suggestions? PS this is by the away my ultimate favorite effect.

Hi Everyone, Here's a workaround to be able to use Track IR AND Chaseplane. This is not a fix or feature update to chaseplane and will result in not having chaseplane camera effects whilst using Track IR but it will enable you to use both side-by-side smoothly. 1. Firstly run TrackIR prior to launching P3D. 2. Once in the sim it'll be jittery as TrackIR & Chaseplane will be fighting for control so with Chaseplane main UI then go to Preferences > Control Bindings and under 'Global Enable' key use the same joystick button you use for 'pause' in Track IR. That's it - now you just have to press that joystick button to switch between Chaseplane camera view…

TrackIR is working pretty good now with CP, but when I disable CP, TrackIR is unresponsive. The "in TrackIR enabled game" LED goes out and I cannot manipulate the view with TrackIR. The Tracking LED remains lit and is tracking in the TrackIR window. How can I use the CP disable/enable and still use TrackIR in the sim? Thanks!

Hi Keven/FSFX Could you please consider an option to link a preset to multiple aircraft variants for a future update? I've set up my cams for PMDG's 747 and i'm still fine tuning certain views every now an then. When switching Aircraft variants its quite difficult to keep track of which preset has the most recent changes included. As the VC is identical across all the 744 variants, it would be cool if there's a way to assign a preset to those variants without having to copy and paste it every time a change has been made. Hello everyone, Due to the high demand for an integrated solution of TrackIR in ChasePlane, here's a temporary solution I made that enables you to get your presets, turbulence etc at the same time as having TrackIR controlling your view. It works better then we expected with ChasePlane and it may serve you in other situations as well. A fully integrated solution will be included in the future but at this stage of development our effort are focused toward fixing all the potential issues with ChasePlane prior to TrackIR. Greetings all. I searched the forums but haven't been able to find a solution. With ChasePlane I have a constant red "Cockpit View - ChasePlane - 0.50 Zoom" or whatever view I happen to be in, in the upper right corner. WIth EzDok this disappeared after a few seconds, but with ChasePlane it stays put. Anybody know how to disable this permanently or how to make it go away after a timeout?

Just bought the alpha version, and when i try to start it for the first time i get error message. chase plane has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. The only option is to close the program I have already tried to reinstall but whit no luck.

Hey Keven- Can you add Towers to the airport static cameras? Just nice to view all the aircraft moving especially while on VATSIM. But the cameras at the airport are awesome by the way!

Just got the latest experimental version 0.1.579 and tried running the airport scan. It scans speedily until it gets to EDDP or 80.08% where it just stops. This doesn't freeze the application, nor does it impair my ability to use Chase Plane's camera presets or my camera movement axes. However, once it stops there is no way to start the scan again because the progress is displayed and the clickable label to start the scan is no longer visible. I've waited for 30-minutes to see if it would continue, but i never does. I've run the scan about 10-times and it ALWAYS stops at "80.08% - EDDP" Anyway, let me know how else I can help to debug this.

When I start up Chaseplane I am never able to click any buttons in the UI and after a few tries of clicking it crashes with it either saying Chaseplane has stopped working or Chaseplane is not responding. I have tried an re-install but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I already sent a report where the App crash after lunch what ever sim I used (fsxSteam-P3d). I installed only in one situation and wondering if I can install on another partition with win10 and P3d.
