I checked through this forum but could not find my answer, so - what does Global Enable do? Found under Preferences\Control Assignments\Actions.

I am curious to know if chase plane is receiving Alpha experimental updates when the sim is on? Lately, I have been receiving SimConnect not working issues and the sim is locking up. When I restart the sim all is well but I do notice Chase Plane has another Alpha update. Thank you,

Sorry, but i am beginning to regret purchasing chaseplane, hence the title. i know it is still in alpha. however the problems i have encountered with the program to date are just not unacceptable. on numerous occasions in the last couple of weeks chaseplane has shut down in mid flight or during pushback. then starts to download new experimental updates,totally messing up the sim and my controls. (even broke my new throttle attachment in exasperation.) twice this weekend i have had to exit P3d completely due to chaseplane shaking my new pmdg 747 to bits on push back, and rendering my joysticks useless. i have checked all key bindings and there are no…

Hi After a new build was loaded this morning, some keyboard control assignments are working incorrectly Controls for MOVE LEFT and MOVE RIGHT are instead operating PAN LEFT and PAN RIGHT. Controls for MOVE UP and MOVE DOWN are operating TILT UP and TILT DOWN. I checked to see if PAN LEFT etc had been switched to MOVE LEFT etc but apparently not. Have tried unassigning and reassigning controls but this did not work. Is this a bug in a recent build?

First let me say this is only my third day since acquiring CP. Yes at first I had some real frustrating moments but thanks to this Forum and especially thanks to Keven with time it is looking and feeling real good. So far I have only worked with two aircraft out of the many that I have. First easiest setup was setting the various Camera Preset views that I wanted for On-Board and Outside - this part was fun. Second setup took a lot longer - Control Assignment setups have now finally been finished. Took a lot of trial and errors and research to stay away from the preset buttons and keys in my default FSX. Hello, I have Chase Plane Experimental Alpha on P3D V3.4 HF3 and I am having a strange issue that I never experienced before which involves also CP, but I don't know if CP is the cause or the effect of this issue: a few minutes after launching the flight (it may be 2 minutes or 10-15 minutes) all the controllers stop working (I have the controllers disabled in P3D menu and I control all axes via FSUIPC on three controllers..Joke, Pedals and Throttle quadrant), and it is no longer possible to open FSUIPC from the addon drop down menu. I've checked with NGX and 747V3 so far. VC views are ok, but the external views won't show the external model but the VC model. I've reverted to Alpha 1 and still the same. Upon start, CP will pop up a warning which says there was an error with my Cameras.cfg (ref to P3Dv2 - which I don't have!). Another pop up saying that the aircraft is misconfigured, and encouraging me to restart the sim, which I did to no avail. I have Chaseplane on FSX Steam. I also run PSX and through VisualPsx, use FSX as the PSX view. Problem is that my controller assignments in Chaseplane are some of the same I use in PSX. This causes the FSX views to change, which I don't want. Is there a way to disable Chaseplane when I'm running FSX as the PSX view? I can disable the joystick and FSX controllers in the FSX settings but not the Chaseplane assignments. Thanks.

Since the last few updates I noticed I don't have a selection with right click to move a preset up or down in the cycle order. Did that function get hidden somewhere else? I have searched around in the various menus but so far have not found that option yet. I have also tried a drag and drop method with no success. Thanks for your help with this, Jerry

I have the same issue in P3D Cinnematic Mode so I wonder if this is more of a P3D V3.4 question, but hopefully someone can help. When I am moving the camera w/ the up/down, fwd/bwd or lateral controls to set up a shot the rate/speed at which the camera moves is very slow. All the other controls work fine. How does one speed up the rate/speed for the camera when moving up/down, fwd/bwd or with lateral controls? Thanks. Chuck

Good morning. Just wanted to see if anyone else is having this issue. I just started up the sim today and went to set some new views. All of my in cockpit views work, along with my PS4 controller I use to move around in there. As soon as I attempt to go out side of the plane, none of the views stopped working. I could see in the preset window that they were selecting but all it did was go outside and go to spot view. Also my controller did not work anymore. I went into the sim controls to make sure something didn't get reassigned to the keys I was using to chose the views and deleted everything view related. Still nothing worked. Hello, I am having an issue where no matter where I set the zoom to it returns to the zoomed out position. This is distorting my view on all cameras. I have tried to double click on the zoom setting and it will not stay. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi, I am running v0.1638 Alpha.Exp. with P3D v3.4 On pressing F11 the view changes anywhere inside the aircraft; possibly to the center of gravity; I do not know. And from there, I can only go back to inside views after pressing F9 key. This is not acceptable. I want back the DEFAULT LOCKED SPOT VIEW, assigned to the F11 key. Thank you Bruno

I'm using the FSlabs a320 and have been using chaseplane since it came out. I'm on v0.1.627 alpha and when I click the "outside" tab the view just looks at the sky and I can't find the plane. I've not had this issue before.

Hi Keven, Might you please explain how to eliminate ChasePlane from my system and return both FSX and P3D to their previous conditions? I purchased your "Alpha" version last night and am presently dissatisfied (not to say angry) with how much damage you have done. Your software does not do what I expected. (I am not naïve here: 20 years of simming and 7 years of EZdok.) As you know, you not only provide cameras sets but also try to control many other view and controller-interface features of the sim. Hi, After the last update, the camera flow became very bad. Now I have a delay when moving the camera (pan & tilt) with the middle mouse button. It was fine in the previous versions, but now it´s horrible. Another thing that is much worse in this version, is the hat of my joystick. The movement is so fast and imprecise that is dificult to describe. It was perfect in previous versions. Can you take special care on this, as it's very hard to fly without this camera movements. This happens in any aircraft, including the default Bonanza.

External Views Not Working with latest experimental update. Tried creating new ones to no avail.

I have v0.1.638 and am on a 5 hour flight in PMDG 739. About 1.5 hours in CP started rolling up and to the left and it can't be stopped. It is doing this on every preset I have made, both inside and outside. I have all the Cinematic Mode sliders full Left but it still won't stop. I was in the VC when it started. If I go to an outside view it still is rolling up and to the left which I assume is not what the Cinematic mode is supposed to look like. If I change the view it will go to the proper spot momentarily but then the roll up and to the left starts immediately again. I need some help because I won't be able to land with this going on. Chaseplane has been working great until last update. Strange problem here ........ it is working correctly but it will not appear on the screen. I see it down in the task bar, but when I click on it nothing happens. Also in FSX, when I hold middle mouse button to bring up the onscreen menu, I can change views..... but if I click on chaseplane it does not appear. Any ideas?

Hi All First posting on here Been happily using Chaseplane since the first release and have really loved it an the continued development , with I am glad to say no real problems. Until yesterday, I now cannot get any views to work or to have any "Chaseplane" views in the sim for example my Only Option in views in Virtual Cockpit no "chaseplane" options. Outside views do not work and I cannot pan round with my mouse all seems very broken The log file is below and hope some one can assist or let me know how to roll back as we have a group flight tomorrow and Its completely unusable Great product guys just need to sort this problem out …

I just now purchased Chase Plane for my FSX-SE, I realize I have the usual learning curve ahead of me. I have setup some presets, that was easy. The problem I am finding which baffles me are a couple things at this time: 1. I am not able to use my normal joystick settings which I had previously used. Are you supposed to remove all the previously assigned settings? 2. I used my Default Flight for the Chase Plane setup. But I am not able to load any other saved flights, it just seems to hang - any thoughts on this?

I have a problem with spot view after last update of chase plane. I have set F11 in my keyboard and button 11 in my joystick for spot view. The a/m keys do not exist in chase plane control assignments. when ever I push any of the a/m button/key, it shows the aircraft outside chaseplane camera. I can go to spot view, ONLY with right click and choosing spot view. I tried to delete the cameras.cfg but no success... How can I fix that?

I'm not having a problem with the A2A and PMDG Aircraft. All the other aircraft like the Twin Otter Extended and the Cera Helicopters don't have engine sound. I can hear the tires rolling and the brakes squealing in the FSX SE. I had the latest NVidia Version then I installed two earlier versions 378.66 and the 352.63 but no luck. I also deleted the cfg.exe. and let it re-build. I also un-installed the Twin Otter Extended. Does anyone have an idea that I haven't covered? Could this problem caused by Chase Plane? Thank you. Hi Folks. I have just purchased ChasePlane, and its superb! Very happy :-) I have a quick question. I also fly with VR and noticed that FlyInside clashes with ChasePlane in that FlyInside is looking for "Title = Virtual Cockpit" within the camera.cfg, but ChasePlane appears to comment this out. Seeing TrackIR is supported, I wondered if there is a plan to resolve this for VR? Regards. David.
