I read the announcement "you can now prevent mouse panning when the mouse is over an interactive object in the cockpit" and i must say that I'm a friend of the old behaivor!!! So please make this feature switchable on/off, or is it already and i haven't seen?

Hi there, I'm reporting on this issue that started all of a sudden. The camera is wanting to rise permanently, both in the cockpit and outside. Even if i bring it back down it keeps floating up. It started while I was on outside view, walking around the A2A 172 and looking inside it. Now I can't get the camera to stop rising. Hi Keven, for me the latest experimental version update broke the ability to use the middle/right mouse button for switches in PMDG planes. (Middle mouse button can be used to set switches instantly to the middle position for example) Everything is fine when I disable middle and right MB control in Chaseplane. However that's not a solution for me Thanks for fixing this :) Edit: I found the "Disable Controls over Gauges" option. Buttons are working than, but I don't like the Cursor location dependent control.

The ground turbulence works fine as long as there is some kind of acceleration: thrust, brakes, turning. But when taxiing with idle thrust, not braking and not turning, the ground turbulence is completely gone. As soon as I touch the brakes, increase thrust or start turning the ground turbulence is back again.

I was wondering is there a way to set chaseplane to allow me to look around using the right mouse button instead of the middle mouse button? I prefer the right mouse button myself.

It seems that for some aircraft (777-200/777F) all my cockpit presets are lost after every experimental update. Not with aircraft I'm using for longer though. I recently bought the PMDG 777 recently and that's the only aircraft affected. Between updates everything works fine. ChasePlane exits, restarts, system restarts, all works fine. Untill the next update. It almost looks like an old backup is reverted every time. Gr Wouter

About a week ago Chaseplane just stopped working properly. It opens up fine, it finds the correct plane, it even loads in the saved cameras but that is it. Top hat no longer works, clicking on any camera or using its assigned hotkey does not work. In the camera screen moving any of the buttons does not work. I reinstalled both Chaseplane and VFX but still same problem. Any ideas?

I just bought ChasePlane a few hours ago and started doing a test flight. After about 10-15 minutes of use, ChasePlane will decide to crash... Since it doesn't crash P3d (Like EZdok always did, which is the whole reason i got ChasePlane anyway), I can simply restart ChasePlane and all will be fine for another 10-15 minutes. Both green LEDs are on I've tried pausing/unpausing TrackIR I've tried switching back and forth between View Presets I've tried restarting TrackIR software TrackIR works at the start of a sim session then eventually stops Sometimes it comes back randomly

I am finding the range rings inappropriate for heavy aircraft. The default of 3 miles and a maximum of 300 miles is too fixed. I do not find myself wishing to change the ranges during a fight. Light aircraft pilots might like shorter ranges than long-haulers. So I suggest that there be a parameter that could be set in Preferences instead of the current pre-determined range rings. HTH

I have already mailed the developers, just wanted to ask if there are currently other users with problems. Chaseplane is starting up, but then in the starting screen where you could see the aircraft(s). Have to kill it. VFX central is also many, many minutes in "walk around". Q400 Immersion download also is endless (now for 20 minutes without further progress. Is there a server issue at FSFX packages side? If so, it would be very annoying that CP is not running then. Do other user confirm problems? thanks

So hopefully you guys are seeing this. I have this issue and I know its a known issue. Its when you use the middle mouse button to look around, the mouse appears on the bottom of the screen. Its extremely annoying and is causing some issues. I'm wondering when will this be fixed? And also I was trying to look for a solution simply by unchecking hide middle mouse button. Every time I start the sim I am getting a pop up saying " the was an issue with your cameras.cfg file " "unable to check your camera references in FSX (error:cfgNotFound)" 1: im not using fsx im using p3d and I have set that up in the chaseplane control panel 2: is should be THERE not THE was an issue How do I resolve this issue, please any advice

Curious as to what controls the speed of the Zoom. I have a button on my Saitek Yoke set as for Zoom In. Earlier this morning I was doing a flight and the zoom worked fairly quickly. Later, flying the same aircraft, the zoom was crawling. Almost painfully slow. I'm curious if, perhaps, I inadvertently changed setting because I trying to better understand some of settings this morning. Thanks, Ernie

Has anyone "lost' the PMDG 737 NGX engines sounds when sitting in pilot seat and looking ahead ? I ask this here in case its related with chaseplane. Once I turn my head beyond 90* degrees left or right (i.e. looking at 7 or 5 o' clock) engine sounds can be heard (no change of head position in cockpit). Moving position further back (laterally) does not make a difference. Sound sliders in P3D are all to max. PMDG AMBIENCE sound only is set to 30, the rest to MAX. Before chaseplane installation I used to hear them, that tiny bit that they can be heard in cockpit.

Hi all, I've just purchased ChasePlane today and one feature in particular am I very interested in - the Virtual Doors. I did try to set up the doors in P3D v3.4 for multiple aircraft(PMDG 737, 777, Fslabs A320, MJC8Q400 and even the default f-22), as instructed in the tutorial video on Youtube, step by step; however, I had no success. The camera does not switch at all when crossing doors. I have also tried fixes in still no luck. Other functions and features seem working perfectly. Is this a known issue? Any other suggestions to fix this? Thank you for your time!

I use to have the original EZdok, and never made the switch to EZdok 2, so I was never able to compare apples to apples sort of speak. I remember having issues with OOM at times when I had EZdok, but never gave it a thought whether running EZdok was ever an issue with VAS. Now that I've made my permanent switch to ChasePlane, I'm so conscious about monitoring VAS, simply because we've been given a way to look at our VAS right on the ChasePlane interface. I'm curious to know if EZdok or ChasePlane contributes to VAS usage, and from someones experience who have had EZdok 2, which one is heavier on VAS, EZdok 2 or ChasePlane?

So let's say I exit out of FSX for a while, and then I want to go back into it. Unfortunately, after I've used it once, it won't let me go back into it. I have FSX SE, and it gives me a message saying the app is already running, which it's not. I have to restart my laptop just so it can be refreshed and to have access to it. This problem has been happening ever since I installed Chase Plane, does anyone know any solutions on how to fix this?

I have used ChasePlane for some months, and I like it very much. Until now I have used a CH flight yoke when flying, and the pan and tilt function assigned to the hat switch. Last week I bought a new yoke without a hat switch, and I decides to move all the view controls to a x-box one controller. I have no experience with x-box controllers. I have assigned the tilt and pan views to the right joystick on the controller, and it functions. But on my former joystick the movement of tilt and pan was fixed when i took away my finger form the hat switch, on the x-box joystick it moves back to the start position. Hi Guys Have only just started using Chase Plane and have been loving the UI and the ease with which views can be set up. I have though just encountered a strange problem. I had set up a few planes with internal and external views which I had mapped to key bindings like lctrl+shift+F10 and they saved and worked as required. However today when I started to create new profile I fin that when I try and create the same sort of key bindings it comes up as D4 for some reason. Can anyone advise what is happening here hopefully its something simple? Thanks in advance..

I purchased and installed chase plane yesterday and ever since I installed chase plane I started having problems with the PMDG747. Every time I try and activate the autopilot it will disconnect after 5 seconds. I've tried 3 flight today. I am not saying it Chase plane. I am simply trying to exclude it since this problem only started today. I was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem? Thanks

Two questions. First: Up until today I have had no issues and all as be working great which I must say is amazing for an alpha build but my middle mouse button no longer seems to bring up the user interface so I can scroll to get my preset windows. I am unsure why this just happened. I had just put the A320X in and it gave me difficulty so I have removed it for the time being and not sure if that might be the issue or as I deleted FS2004 from my system if that might have created the problem. I uninstalled Chaseplane and reinstalled it to no avail. Second: I am in the process of upgrading to a brand new rocking PC and wondering if this will affect FSFX activat…

Hi today i started chase plane and downloaded the new update. But now after the update my static camera appears somewhere in the ocean . Everything was fine before this update. I have restarted the computer to see if that would help . But is the same result the static camera keeps showing up somewhere in the ocean .
