ChasePlane Support

Did the MMB get changed? I used to like the ability to press the MMB and the CP Menu options would pop up, that was very handy. It is not working anymore - why?

In FSX, one could show or hide the brakes as well as zoom by changing some numbers in the cfg file. I now run Prepar3D 3.4 and would like to see what the zoom is, no text appears. I want to see the zoom level (especially out-side views at 1.0 ) Probably a question I should be asking in the P3d forum but it occurred to me someone here may know the answer. Pete :)

Hi, I have FSX:SE with EzDok v2 and in the process of migrating across to P3D v3 running Chaseplane, however no matter what settings I change in chaseplane, it persists in messing up the cameras.cfg file on FSX:SE. I wanted to make the transition when ready but seems I am being forced to choose one or the other for both Sims. Am I missing a setting or is this the case Thanks Steve

Has anyone tried using a gamepad such as a Logitech G13. I wonder if this would work while I wait for Track IR compatibility?

In the latest experimental version, when using any of the static cameras at an airport, the camera shakes are a lot. I wasn't sure what was causing it, until I found out it didn't start doing that unless I had AS16 open. I went into the camera settings, and turned the turbulence bar all the way down, and that stopped it. However, if i change to a different camera view, it doesn't save my setting and the turbulence is turned back on. The check mark to save the setting is greyed out. Is this something that can be fixed? thanks,

ChasePlane appears to interfere with Synergy (mouse-and-keyboard sharing software from Symless), in the sense that when the mouse cursor is on a client system, the client ignores mouse clicks (probably, because the host system is not sending them). If I close ChasePlane, the normal mouse behavior on the clients immediately restored; if I restart ChasePlane, I immediately lose remote mouse clicks. This behavior is 100% reproducible. A lot of simmers with multi-PC sims are using Synergy to reduce the number of keyboards and mice around the simulator -- is ChasePlane deliberately doing something with mouse events that might be causing this, or is it an unknown side-ef…

I don't know why my HUD on the PMDG 737 stops working after switching views from wing view (exterior) back to pilot view. Help (not that I use the HUD much but...)

Hi, I'm very happy with ChasePlane, except for one thing - mouse look speed. one issue is a slight delay before the view starts moving, which didn't happen with other products, but it's not a big issue. The other issue, which is quite bad for me, is that mouse look is just so. damn. slow. Is there some way where I can speed it up truly globally wihtout having to edit each and every camera view?

Every flight after starting my descent, at different times, my interior virtual cockpit camera position moves slowly up to a portion of the overhead panel. I can not get it to move and none of the other presets will work until I close Chase Plane and start it up again. This often happens again after restart during the same flight so the immersion factor is shot. I am sure it has something to do with the motion but don't know how to make it stop. Any thoughts?

I've noticed that when ChasePlane is running, the mouse can often stutter when moving it. Example, I'm moving the mouse across the screen and it stops multiple times for a split second. It happens across the entire PC when ChasePlane is running. Any fix or a known bug? EDIT: This is most noticeable on the Camera tab and I barely notice it on other tabs.

While Chaseplane runs smoothly, the mouse suddenly freezes ad the cursor disappears. When I move the mouse, the view moves with it but nothing can be done. In order to escape that I have to manually shutdown the computer and it's quite frustrating.

Hi..... Firstly I love Chase Plane thank you for your great product. I have the latest version and have the latest update... I am able to create presets and camera angles no problem... but.. I have lost my hat switch pan function on my saitek x52. Nothing I seem to do will get it panning around like it did before I installed CP. It seems to move in the direction I want very slightly... then seems to hit a 'stopper' (it stops).It is probably a noob solution but I cant get it to pan around so something is preventing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Neil B

Hi, I am running into another issue with ChasePlane and that is when I try to pan using the middle mouse button the mouse doesn't hide and it pans really slowly. I do not have the Temporary Mouse Fix on or have my mouse pan speed low. This mainly seems to be happening in the PMDG 777.

Hi all, For some reason, the CPU usage of chaseplane rises significantly over time, eventually reaching such a high usage that it becomes unusable, see below for picture, and this issue has been around for a long time, since alpha 1.x and I wonder what is going on.

I have just uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of CP along with TIR V5.4.2.27545. The TIR user interface shows head movement, but when i load CP and P3D there is no head tracking in game. Only one green light illuminates in the TIR sensor. TIR is enabled in CP and the TIR manifest files are disabled. Any ideas? thanks

Hi, whenever I am in my Dash and I use the rudder, the view completly crashes and zooms out heavily. I don't have this issue when using my A2A Cessna e.g. Is this a bug in the current version? UNfortunately makes my plane unflyable currently :(

Hey, So I use the middle mouse button to pan around and zoom. For the past two days my chaseplane has been glitching. Suddenly the mouse will disappear from the FSX Screen and i cannot untoggle the panning function. Thus, whenever i move my mouse, the camera moves also. It doesnt stop panning around even if I click, switch tabs, or restart chaseplane. The only way to stop it is to disable middle mouse pan/tilt and zoom in the menu. This is really hampering my ability to quicky move around the cockpit. I would really love some support on this issue. If you need my chaseplane report or any other information I would be happy to provide them. Ethan

Hi, Hope someone can help. I have found chaseplane tricky to use. I have the latest version which now supports trackir viewing by pressing center mouse button great, but as the aircraft turns the view jerks, makes me nauseated! I have fine VAS and FPS over 30. I really just want the various vibrations, trackIR support and mouse looking. everything is fine apart from the jerking. Any ideas? Matt Attwell

Keven, I have been chasing this problem during the last 2 updates - latest 0.2.18. I have lost the ability to use my context menu - [right mouse button]. I have discovered CP is the culprit. As soon as I terminate CP my context menu reappears. I was suspecting my anti-virus, password manager, which have been newly updated. When using the Aerosoft A320, you need to use left and right buttons on the mouse to adjust various knobs. Left is fine but nothing on the right button. Terminate CP right button now active. I would like to add that I have tried it with both my AV and PWM disconnected - same problem. FSX-SE Don

Since I downloaded the new Alpha 0.2.5, I am not able to save any new camera presets. Updating the presets and anything else works fine. I already uninstalled CP and installed it again! Thanks for your help. EDIT: Importing of presets from another Aircraft works also fine!

Installed the latest update and explored the new feature the "Community service". Appears to be a great help in creating (read copying) camera presets, though search results all depend on the use of the right queries. Noticed moreover that a lot of CP users fly the PMDG 737. Great work so far FSFX, keep it up! Peter

I have a slow internet connection (DSL Level 3 ) and need to know what is the minimum internet speed required to use this product. Not only is it slow but it has a tendency to drop connection frequently. If you loose connection do you have to start over from scratch or will it pick up where you dropped out? I would really hate to drop 40 dollars on a product that is unusable. I had to drop Steam Edition because of its internet requirements. It just took too long for anything to get done. The faster this program becomes offline able the more copies they will sell. Dale

Hi, Call me thick, if you like, but I seem to have lost the mouse right-click menu function. I can Pan in the VC while holding down the right mouse button, in the same way as I can while holding down the mouse wheel (holding down while view is stationary brings up the ChasePlane options), but now there is no appearance of the menu as it did before the recent CP update/s. I am currently on v0.1.717. If I close down ChasePlane then that P3D default function returns, without being able to pan. Don't know about the rest of you, but sometimes I like to fly with the Mouse Yoke. Unless I am missing something, this is not possible right now. Can this capability be reins…
