While flying inside my PMDG 747-400 v3 cockpit, I successfully completed a 1+ hour flight from KDEN (Denver) to KLAS (Las Vegas). However, about 25 minutes into the flight, I experienced an inadvertent switch to an outside view. For a period of a few minutes, I could not get back into a cockpit view. I am using p3dv3..I have the latest alpha 1.679 as of today. I notice from time to time.. the vas usage lights up and dings. I was wondering with the use of Process Lasso...what is the best setup for ChasePlane as far as all of the settings across the process Lasso line from left to righ..(ie: Rules..Priority Class...etc etc.) I have an eight core AMD 9150.. I know there is a setting inside Chase Plane with CPU Assignments 0-7. The green button is to the right for "Dynamically select xxx". Does this need to be set or unticked if I am using Process Lasso. Do they override each? I have Windows 10 and latest p3dv3. I am running AS2016...real traffic..proatcx and Maybe Lit…

I'm new to ChasePlane, and yesterday I was doing so well setting up my Flight1 Mustang 510. Today I started out P3D and FSX to try and set up my Aerosoft Airbus and PMDG J41, but it's having issues with it. It simply doesn't accept any view settings, and on the exterior views, you can't see the aircraft, or there is just a skeleton. I remember back in the days when I used EZdok, you had to hit the configure key in order to recognize the aircraft, otherwise you had that skeleton view too. I understand we are dealing with an Alpha program, but just wanted to know if this is one of those known issues or not?

Hi Guys. Thanks alot for fixing the zoom issue with the latest update :) May i ask a favour on behalf of the TrackIR users out there? Can we please have the option to disable trackir when in cinematic mode? Its a pain for me because during cruise i most often take off my headset (which has my tracking system attached) and when i have enabled auto cinematic mode after a given time the camera is upside down or wherever. same goes with switching to the cinematic mode when using trackir. Hi, The static camera feature is amazing. I love it. I wonder if we can set the coordinate directly for a hot spot of taking pictures, e.g., tall buildings around airports. That will be very useful. Although we can move the camera position by joystick or keyboard, it's not quick enough. BTW, can we share our static cameras when the community is online?

Hi all, been testing Chaseplane for a bit now and I'm mightily impressed. I'd like to bring up a few points - would it be possible to assign mouse buttons to actions? I have a mouse with some extra buttons I'd like to use to switch cameras. Also, would it be possible to assign same action to multiple joysticks? I have two devices, a yoke and a joystick, and now I have to reassign the HAT each time...

Just curious what the significance of the green and gray cores represent within the red border? Are the green cores without the red border being used or not being used?

Chaseplane has been working great for me with just a minor bug.With the latest update v0.1.676, chaseplane does not initialize. it dosent connect to my simulator and is stuck with the red color even after trying to restart it numerous times. With earlier builds this problem happened once in a while but with the new update, it dosent connect to my simulator. Any help is greatly apreciated.

Hi, Since a couple of days (maybe 2 weeks), I encountered frequently peaks of low fps (near to zero) every few seconds. I changed nothing in the sim, but I noticed that the problem goes away when I closed ChasePlane, and it comes back when I re-opened it. It happens with every aircraft I have (PMDG's 777, 747, 737, FSLabs A320, MJC Q400, A2A comanche, P3D's stock aircrafts), and with AS16+ASCA enabled or disabled. As my english is pretty bad to explain the issue, here is a video that shows the problem.

Second day in a row.. I have turned on chaseplane to have all my onboard views gone but 1. Very very frustrating.. Takes time to set these up!! Not using ezdok (I might) and no Trackir. This is Alpha version 1.676 How do I save them once I set them up and export and re-import if this programs keeps loosing my stuff? Thank you, Bob M.

First of all, I would like to give my thanks for the great and continued support for Chaseplane. Now to my problem. When loading in a saved flight (P3Dv3), I can no longer zoom nor can I use the static camera. This is especially annoying when P3D crashes and I need to re-load the flight... Hello, After the two most latest experimental updates, Chase Plane no longer holds a connection to the sim. The status indicator blinks red/green in quick succession. I am running all programs as administrator and the only fix I've seen is to disable Experimental Updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hello everyone! So I installed the amazing Chase Plane, and edit many camera angles then I closed the FSX to change some Xbox Controller settings to use the controller only for Chase Plane... After I started the game, the FSX was loaded into the "Setting menu" so I went stright to "Free flight menu" and nothing happens but the collapse of the game to fatal error. I believe the problem is the Chase Plane settings or something since this never happened before having this amazing addon for FSX... I hope I can get help because I can´t flight as I daily do it. Chaseplane keeps trying to update itself on startup (experimental) but always fails. Download is very slow and never goes beyond 30 %. Sometimes the "Download Failed" message appears, sometimes it just hangs. I tried that several times now. Any chance to just run the exisiting version of chaseplane without the automatic updating process?

I don't have EZdok and Chaseplane is a learning curve for an oldie like me. Is there a way to install only to FSX so that I can 'play' with it without changing my P3D settings? Many thanks Shane

Hi fellow members, I'm having some trouble since recent update (0.1.672) Alpha exp 1.5. Since this update my chaseplane keeps crashing unexpectedly within 2 to 3 mins of P3D loading flight. Doesnt matter whether i proceed to do preflight checks or just have the aircraft sitting there without doing anything. I've tried changing all different settings within chaseplane & also restarting it as the un-experimental mode, however it just seems chaseplane seems to jeep crashing. I've also tried finding the error log file on my system numerous times and can't find it. Any help would be much appreciated or to hear f…

I have just purchased ChasePlane V 0.1.672 Alpha Exp. , Installed OK into FSX and P3D Academic_3.4.22.19868, in FSX FSUIPC is run from the dll.xml file , in P3D FSUIPC is run from the C:\Users\aero\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Add-ons in a folder called DLL (my choice) with an XML file as per LM requirement, FSUIPC works fine with Chase Plane but when I start VFX Central it shows a msg ( "FSUIPC might not be...")and the registry editor also does not have a tick against P3D Fsuipc.... This is just a comment to the dev as the check for FSUIPC running shoulld be done differently. Jorge

Hi Keven, I've been a user from week one and am impressed beyond words how good CP is and is, getting. Can you tell me how I can adjust keyboard/mouse wheel sensitivity, by this I mean that when I push a key to pan around or change views there is a 'lag' from when I push the key and when it actually happens, the pause is only nanoseconds but it's not instantaneous, and is noticeable, likewise with pushing the middle mouse wheel, I really have to press hard to get any sort of response. I can't seem to find adjustments in the CP GUI. Also, my only negative comment is when an update is installed, the 'TrackIR' feature is always enabled, shouldn't this be the other way a…

Hello! To begin with, ChasePlane is a great product. It's what I always wanted for FSX back in the day, now P3D, and I cant think of simming without it now. The fact it's still in alpha and can only get better/more stable with time is great. Good job, it can only get better :) Of course this is still in alpha so it´s not unusual to find things that don´t work well, or don´t seem to work well anyway. One problem I have right now and would like to point out. Dear FSFX team, I would like to submit a future improvement request. For outside views, you can create great camera angles. However, what would be great is if you could define immediately the exact inverse camera angle, without having to copy the camera and then move it. Why I ask : Typically you would create an outside chase view, Left side outside view, right side outside view and front outside view. These four basic views require creating 4 different outside camera views for which you need to move the camera 4 times around the aircraft.
