ChasePlane Support

Hi. I really like ChasePlane and it has all been working for me except for the MB View Selector feature. If I select the feature, it only works if MB Pan and Tilt is selected. Thanks!

So i setup a couple of doors as per the FSFX tutorial video(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_1r7_lgIb8 to transition from the cockpit to outside and back but its not working. on setting up the transitioning there is a msg that comes up ' This door cannot be accesses from this camera mode' Convert Door to Outside button??

I've been using chase planes for a month and am absolutely in love with it. One persisting problem is that whenever I move my camera, with all turbulence options disabled, the camera shakes. It seems that the longer I hold middle mouse to move the camera, the more severe the shaking gets. Any help is appreciated. Happy Flying!

I've got my presets devided in 4 basic views, controlled from 4 positions from hatswitch and several extra views, controlled by prev-next control. But now I cant find how to exclude the 4 basic positions from the prev-next control routine. How do I do this?

Hi, to someone at Chase Plane support team: I sent a request to FSFX Packages - Chase Plane support, by e-mail, to obtain information on how to transfer a license from one computer to another, both belonging to me. This request was initiated two days ago and it's still without answer. At the website it's indicated that as a customer you could do the license transfer from one PC to another, as indicated in the enclosed picture taken from the FSFX Packages website, but it does not say how to do it, that's why I'm asking. Please someone from FSFX Packages that could be of help?. Thanks again, Ed

Hi Folks, Just purchased CP - watched some tutorials - think I have the basics... Enabled TrackIR globally in the settings of CP... Noticed the TrackIR label on the CP interface turned green... Enabled TrackIR in my first CP preset - "Pilot View"... As soon as I un-pause TrackIR - the preset view just starts jumping all over the place - like a conflict or something... Latest CP and TrackIR software... Also noted - my PAN hat no longer works with my new CP preset view... Seems locked looking straight out the windscreen... Am I missing something ? I used my X-Box controller to move the camera in CP by mapping the axis - do I need…

How can I change the order of presets? For example, Now I got back, front, right, left, but of course this has to be back, left, front, right. Hoe do I move presets up or down in the list?

on loading FSX ChasePlane goes direct to a random custom view instead of my chosen airfield ? This is possibly causing a conflict with one of my payware aircraft Flight 1 Citation Mustang. When I change to cockpit view via ChasePlane I get a frame freeze & crash with Fatal error has occurred . Has anyone else had the same problem ?

I've been playing with this option trying to decide if I like it or not, I do really like the idea, I am wondering whether it would be possible to reduce the severity.. (I will try to elaborate a bit). What I mean is, use the Gimbal effect but perhaps have it 'try' to track the horizon within certain limits, perhaps 'dampen' it a bit.. does that make sense? It's difficult to describe.. It's like the 'head' follows the horizon as best it can but within certain limits.. i.e. it slowly follows.. and it will do it up to a set degree bank.. does that make more sense? I cant find how to switch the hatswitch between presets and panning. I'm used to having 4 basic views set to my hatswitch and from those basic views I pan around when needed, but for this the hatswitch has to change between 4 separate switches (up, down, left, right) and pan motion control. How can I do this?

Hi, This bug usually happens shortly after pressing the button to create a new preset in the chaseplane UI, but sometimes it happens from startup. The cursor is gone (when tabbed into P3D), and the pan moves with the mouse (even though sticky mouse is disabled in all my views)

Title says it all really. After a while, I am unable to pan my view. Restarting Chaseplane fixes this, but happens again 20-30 minutes later

Have a issue using ChasePlane with Flight1 Citation Mustang. Frame Freeze & Crashes on loading aircraft ( seems to be the centre MFD ) Has anyone else had this problem ? Been through un-installing re-installing. disengaging Anti virus etc. Still same problem could it be a conflict with ChasePlane ? Any help would be great !

Good morning, after the server hick up Chaseplane made me fall back to Alpha 1.1. In Alpha 1.1 I don't see my presets any more (which is kind of annoying). And now, when I try and start Chaseplane it says "Download failed" and closes. Two questions: (1) is the server really back up again? (2) how should I best continue to get all my camera presets back because they are not installed locally? Thanks, Jan

Hey Kevin; I have been using Chaseplane for sometime now and absolutely love it! Can't fly without it but I have an unusual problem. With the latest updates I have noticed that the Middle Mouse View Selector has been occasionally popping up behind FSX Steam Edition which makes it impossible to switch views. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Chaseplane and have also attempted resetting to factory defaults to no avail. An interesting problem to say the least and hoping that maybe you have a solution. This only appeared to happen a few days ago. Rick

I am really enjoying ChasePlane and is by far the best tool in this respective category on the market, but, it really ticks me off when you pay for several products from a company, yet, you can't use them because their server is down. No offense, but this business model sucks.

With V0.1.701 I'm losing both joystick and keyboard control assignments. They become hesitant then finally produce no movement. Opening 'Control Assignments' and resetting helps but only for a short time. Would using an Xbox controller in lieu of the joystick/keyboard be any better?

I am confused a bit now. I have a TrackIR camera and use TrackIR 5 with a TrackHat Clip attached to my headset. This works perfectly without Opentrack in P3D latest version. I love ChasePlane and want to use it with my TrackIR setup. When I loaded ChasePlane and set a Pilot view internal camera setting for my A2A Cherokee, I thought that I was set. First - Outstanding product, I still can't believe this is alpha/beta -- the stability and features are way beyond those attriibutes. A must have addon for all simmers. Thanks. So, with today's update I now have View titles on all windows, which, before this update I did not have. How do I remove them? Hi Keven, How close is chase plane to allowing Community camera views upload/download, from the program. I just had to reinstall Prepar3D and all of my aircraft and it's taking quite awhile to do each aircraft. Would be nice to be able to download those available for the popular ones. steve s

Close CP and I get it back, open CP and gone.

Very nice to be able to pan around using the right mouse button! However what I miss now is the possibility to reset the camera position back to the default position after panning also just using the mouse. Maybe that can be done with a double right click?
