Has anyone setup the G13 with Chaseplane? I have just got one to use for my PMDG 747 Chaseplane views in P3D but finding it not so simple to figure out... Cheers, Mike

Hi I just installed chase plane and I noticed it stores information on a cloud. Question . Can i stop chase plane using the cloud or is it an uninstall. thanks pepsi

I'm using CP 1.633, I've lost all of my aircraft external views, The TFDi 717 is shown below with just the nose portion showing, if I cycle through my camera presets this nose portion view is shown in ALL views. Here is the external presets in the CP UI. This 1oclock view should show all of the aircraft right side. What has happened? FOOTNOTE; After this post I thought I'd try again with the NGX, when loading Prepar3D Chase plane downloaded and installed v 1.634....same result Steve

Is there anyway I can slow down the Tophat switch when using CP? Without CP it is OK but when I select CP the Tophat switch is so sensitive and moves so rapidly. Tks Don

Hi, I was in the process of starting a flight in P3D. CP did an update, unbeknownst to me. (no pop-up or anything) Now, I have no external views; well, to be precise, I have a outside view and it's 'locked spot' and selecting any other outside views does nothing. Internal views are fine. Cinematic views are working, I think. Didn't stay there too long. Also, the sim now starts paused? WTH? Do I have rabies or is this a problem with the update? I have a report file available. And yes, I've looked through all the settings and there's nothing I can see that's changed. I have to say, the pause at start of sim is really, really annoying. I ca…

As the title says, whenever i want to go to the outside camera it is stucked on the default locked spot camera.. Inside the cockpit it moves around fine.. Does anyone have a clue what to do here? [Edit] it worked fine in the Aerosoft A320, but i just bought the pmdg 737 NGX, and here the problem occur, i have P3D by the way, don't know if that information is useful or not, but you never know. Hi there, Must say, I'm thoroughly enjoying ChasePlane. I do have one question, however.. in order to get wingviews for most aircraft (including all the PMDG ones), I have to switch to external view and then move the camera back towards the wing. Visually this works absolutely fine, but the downside is that you then also have the external sounds. Is there any way to define the sound environment in a camera view so that the wing views have the internal/cockpit sounds rather?

Reading through the User Manual online here, I thought I saw that it was possible to create certain On-Board Presets with TrackIR turned off. I would like to be able to have some presets with it on, and some with it off but I cannot see how this can be achieved. The only TrackIR setting I can find is in the Advanced tab of the Camera settings, with looks to control a Global setting for the Preset type (On-Board, or Outside).

Hello, I contact you because for 1 week on Chaseplane I can not change my view in my plane impossible. I go into chaseplanes and I have assigned keys to change view then on the software chaseplane we see that I change my view, parcontre in my simu its change not say that my main view zoom or dezoom I have uninstalled several times chaseplane and vfx central without success, I have cleaned my pc in the registry but I remain blocked Please help me.

Does ChasePlane fix the longstanding FSX VC camera bug? I mean the bug which causes the VC camera in large aircraft (777/747 etc) to move considerably based on heading, altitude, and latitude. I don't have ChasePlane yet, and I've been unable to find such a fix listed on the feature list. But it seems to me that, given the complete control it has over the camera, it ought to be possible to build eye-point compensation for this very annoying bug into ChasePlane? Has this been done, or are you contemplating doing this in a future version? Thanks, Farley

Hello guys, I was told to post this here directly from the FSFX staff, my P3D works fine with chase and I really like this add-on, cannot be without it but I been having an issue, no matter how low my settings are, how many sceneries I have active while flying using the scenery tool, and no matter how good my machine is; I keep getting low VAS alerts at the end of my flights, at the beginning I was using the FSLabs 320 and I thought it was the issue but now even with any PMDG, carenado or A2A aircraft will do the same, I get very good frames on my P3D but as soon as im on approach to the destination I will start hearing the low VAS alert and if I open chase I will see the…

Hi, as far as I've understood ChasePlane uses the Windows Management Instrumentation (WmiPrvSE.exe). Currently this is the only process/service I still have problems with, because it starts without affinity mask first and then induces stutters when running the sim (core 0 is my main thread). As ChasePlane has an AM-setting built-in wouldn't it be possible to start the service out of the program with the same AM as configured in the preferences? That would be great, because I was not able to set a permanent AM for this service. Marc

I understand the product is still in Alpha, but it's currently a real shame the world camera views do not follow aircraft smoothly. For starters the camera does not pan with the aircraft.... way behind once speed picks up. There a slight stutters in the movement which I assume relates to the camera trying to keep up with the aircraft itself. Finally, textures glitch out at distance and the zoom function is too slow. This isn't necessarily a support issue as I guess everyone has the same features as highlighted - unless somehow settings can be changed. An alternative for panning would be to use the mouse.... but according to FSFX the cursor should be hidden.... n…

Hi everyone: I spent a fair amount of time setting up presets for all my aircraft. This morning, upon loading Chaseplane, I noticed that the default preset presented itself very briefly, and then reverted to a view that was way off, in some cases outside of the airplane. All my presets are now incorrect - for every aircraft. When I change presets it seems as if the correct original preset displays for a split second, then the corrupted one loads. I would like to know when an update will come out so that the error of the middle mouse button, go back to work ??? I can no longer use this function, both in fsx and in preparation 3d V3. I would like the feedback from the developer because this is frustrating .... week without response !!!! It is a very important function to be able to look at the side inside the cockpit, I am waiting for an answer.

Hi, When I have a camera with the 'Track aircraft' option on, I can't save it with the green checkmark when I find a new nice view... I don't know if this is a bug or behaviour by design.... (if the latter.. pls change this behaviour pls....). Thank you, Marc Nieuwhof

I cannot fly because I get a time out all the time from chase plane. Your web site is down also https://fsfxpackages.com/en/ChasePlane/ STOP making it that we have to be online for chase plane to work. You are grounding use because of your problem. I stoped using TrackIR for this programe and I simple cannot do anything now without chase plane working. Its not good. It really is not good at all Sort it out. Change it so it works offline. This simple is not good enough. Not happy at all with you.

Just checking to see if any one else is having a problem connecting to anything FSFX Packages - ChasePlane, VFXCentral, even their website. Sorry in advance if I missed a post stating this was going to happen.

Hello I am running Chaseplane v1.627 in P3dv3.4. Every 10 seconds, my sound pops and lags about 1/2 second. When I disconnect Chaseplane, I have no issue. Any ideas? Thank you Michael
