ChasePlane Support

I can not start Chase Plane when your servers are down (your servers are down right now [0500z midnight EST] -- or something in the path from my isp to your servers is down). I am able to get to all other sites I have tested right now including, obviously, AVSIM). Also, even if in cases where users internet connections were down, we would not be able to use Chase Plane. If not already in the plans, please consider caching profiles locally to make Chase Plane usable in cases of network failure. Thanks!

Hi. I have been having issues with the FSLabs A320 where I can't use the middle mouse button to look around the VC. It works with every other aircraft except the A320. I'm at a loss with it now. Thanks. Callum.

There seems to be no ground turbulence effect during pushback. I have set the ground turbulence so that I have a subtle movement already while taxiing at 1 or 2 kts but there is no movement during pushback (by GSX). It would be nice if the ground turbulence effect could be expanded to the pushback. Thanks!

I'm going to purchase the P3d release of the A320x (I was already an happy user of the fsx version) and I need to know how Chaseplane manages two concurrent installations of the same plane, in other words will the p3d and the fsx versions inherit and share the same chaseplane profile or will chaseplane allow the user to have 2 separate profiles for each version? IMHO it would be better that 2 different profiles are allowed.

Hi Guys, installed the update but when I load P3D it automatically starts to load a preview flight! And then crashes. I tried rolling Chaseplane back and it works fine, P3D is also okay if I start it without Chasplane 1.5. I'm out of ideas at the mo.

Hey all, I've been using the latest ChasePlane alpha version which is v0.1.571. Just today I noticed a couple of things that aren't working for me. It could just be me though. Hi, on screenshots and in the Manual link in this forum there is a Track IR enable switch in Camera > Advanced, however this doesnt appear for me. Im using v0.1.98 Alpha. Is this correct?

I understand how the intertial system works within Chaseplane. The problem I'm experiencing is when I turn around corners on the ground or bank in the air, my Captain view shifts and then locks to the position the move shifted it to. I constantly have to reposition and update the view after every move. Has anyone else experienced this / have a solution I can try?

I am really enjoying your product but is there a view to make camera "walk" around plane. Lets say you are on the ground and you simply want to walk around and look at your aircraft..zoom in and out, up and down at ground level...is there a way to do that? Thank you!! Bob M.

When you change views or presets, you get a prompt in red at the top right corner of the display indicating the view (camera) name and zoom factor. This normally fades in a few seconds With CP active, the text does not disappear.

Hello, I notice that when I use the tiller (assign separate from rudder in FSUIPC, with PMDG 737 and 777),the anticipation turbulence effect doesn't work, it only work if I use the rudder to turn the airplane on the ground. Is there a way to make the anticipation effect works with tiller only? Or will it be an option in the next update? Thank you. Hoang Le

Using Experimental v0.1554 Win10 .Net Framework 4.6 I am unable to permanently save any camera selection. I select a preset but within 5 secs the green light comes on saying 'Unsaved Cam Position'. It is always the FWD BWD control first, followed by LATERAL. I disconnected my joystick thinking it could be that, but it isn't. I double clicked the white slider knobs and zeroed them out. (Unable to zero out the FWD-BWD, ROLL and ZOOM knobs). I let the system run for 10 minutes and the FWD-BWD had moved from 0 to 0.206 LATERAL -0.057. Finished my first flights with ChasePlane and I am very satisfied - best camera tool I have ever seen, and very intuitive to use. I have a proposal for the button assignment: As a former OPUS FSI user, I appreciated the possibility to assign the same button for different views, for example I assigned button A for left view 45°, left view 90° and left view 135°, so I just have to press the same button to cycle through different views, which makes it very convenient and also helps on complex aircrafts where I simply run out of available buttons in ChasePlane.

Whatever you did in this version....I want to say stop and leave it My FPS returned to 35-40 in the NGX VC and reaching as high as 80 externally. Just wanted to share.

Not sure if it was reported but there seems to be a decrease in fps and and increase with stutters as I pan. I also notice that during increment updates CP wants to crash but is held in limbo until the user (I) manually closes the application. During that moment I witness increased stutters and extremely long lags. I usually see upward towards 40 fps when flying the PMDG T7 in the VC and as high as 80 from the exterior with earlier v of CP. Now I'm down to 28 FPS VC and sometimes a dipping into 14 (never see that with my system i7-4790K).

Hello, I posted this issue I have been having 10 days ago and have received no answer. I see that the developer is very quick to answer any issues users are having. I just wonder why not on this occasion. I have set up chase plane and set all my camera views and they have correctly saved. However, My issue surrounds Track IR unpausing. When paused I am in the on board camera but NOT where I saved it. I am outside apparently sitting down behind the left wheel, why I don't know as I certainly did not set this view up. HI. After a few days of not using P3D. I booted it up toady to use the new A320 for P3D. When I booted it up, chaseplane updated and experimental mode was turned on. Now the problem is, whether I have experimental mode on or off my middle mouse look button won't work anymore. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks.

Hi, I have Alpha 1.560 experimental. In FSX, windowed mode, when I press my ChasePlane Toogle UI keyboard shortcut, the UI is displayed on top of the simulator. In FSX, fullscreen mode, when I press my ChasePlane Toogle UI keyboard shortcut, the UI is not displayed on top of the simulator. I have to Alt-Tab to return to the windows desktop. And that is where the Chase Plane UI is displayed. Is it just me ?

Hello, After a flight today I have the feeling that the anticipation setting is not relevant anymore at least since the last update. Whatever if I set the maximum turbulence or the default setting, the intensity seems to be the same. Adjusting the advanced settings using the Tune button does not seems to help either. If I set it to 0 it is correctly disabled. Other than that, it's getting better and better

Is there any way to set a Keyboard or Joystick Shortcut for a static camera you just created?

Two Questions: 1 - Can someone tell me exactly which P3D configuration files get modified by Chase Plane and what in them gets changed? 2 - If I uninstalled my version of Chase Plane and then reinstall it how do I access all the previous preset profiles I created and get them loaded again? Hello, I have just purchased Chaseplane. Managed to set up the views in VC. Able to zoom in and out with key assignment. Pan & Tilt using the joystick hat buttons. So far, very happy with the interior settings. However, when in exterior view, I only can pan around the aircraft, can not move up or down. I have read in the forum and I believed this is what we have for now and will be updated later in Alpha 2? If so, can I not use Chaseplane in exterior and use FSX default pan instead? Or how can I pan and tilt around to look outside? In addition, when pan & tilt outside or inside the aircraft, it affects the other one at the same time. Is there a way to stop…
