ChasePlane Support

Morning all Firstly, I think these are very good. The only issue I have is not going there on first selection. Here's a test. 1. On the UI select a On-board View. View changes to that view 2. Select an Outside view. View changes to that view 3. Select Static view. View changes to behind aircraft not the static view 4. Select the same static view again. View now moves to that view Thanks Clive

How do you save a static view? If I right click on the sim and select (Static) Chaseplane it takes me into the middle of nowhere and my terrain goes funny.

Great to be able to pan around in every dimension in the P3D default spot view again! But the panning is very fast for me. Is there any way to adjust the speed of the panning in the default spot view?

I've been using ChasePlane without issues for the last several days (love the product). This evening I lost complete ability to access VC clickspots in the PMDG NGX. After restarting, the Alpha Experimental was downloaded and installed (I had the option checked) and I'm still unable to click anything in the VC. YouTube video example - I'm pretty much spamming the mouse button on things and you can see the only thing that finally engages is one of the external landing lights. Any idea? I know this was a problem with EzDok (part of the reason I uninstalled) where the head position would get pushed back into the seat and prevent click issues. But moving the he…

Hi, Even in global or per device specific mode, all transition speed & inertia settings have no effect at all now. Speed & inertia are common to all cameras, and speed is quite high (too high for me at least). Any tips? EDIT: I'm not using TrackIr. However I'm happy for the newly working in-sim menu with mys config

Hey, I have imported an existing EZdok preset of the NGX. I try to change the default captain zoom to 0.7 without success. I am doing to zoom and save the preset but when I cycle to a differnet view and go back to the captain view the zoom reverts back the its default value of 0.5 Any idea? P.S, I have to latest build. (0.1.503)

Hey guys, if I buy the ChasePlane alpha license right now, once the add-on officially releases will I need to buy it again or can I just use my alpha license with the official version?

Hi, The 0.1.503 version seems to be a total bust for me. Only thing working is the cinematic mode. All other things are broken: Middle mouse button does nothing, Keyboard inputs do nothing, TrackIR ist not working, ... I always get: Aircraft misconfigured We have fixed a configuration issue with this aircraft to make it work with ChasePlane. Please reload the aircraft or relaunch the simulator for views to work properly. Reloading or restarting doesn't help. Hi, If I close ChasePlane whilst I'm in flight, FSX will often crash to desktop. Is there a fix for this, perhaps coming in Alpha 1.5? Max

Hello All, I'm currently using ChasePlane with the latest version of P3D V3 and I am experiencing an issue with sounds. In the cockpit I can't hear any of the engine sounds that I heard before using ChasePlane. However if I turn around and look at the back wall of the cockpit the cockpit engine sounds then come back. I am experiencing this issue in the 737NGX and Aerosoft Airbus. Thanks, Alex

I think that I screwed up something in the meanwhile but I am observing a very annoying behavior using this plane with Chaseplane. Here how it goes. As you might know Fslabs recommends to load in advance the trike, turn it off and at last to replace it selecting their A320x to start it C&D. Up to some days ago everything, or almost everything, used to work fine and I even imported and then customized a good starting ezdok set of presets that FSL made availabe in their forum but now when I select and load the A320X it automatically loads with the Cockpit (not the VC) view active and not with On-Board (Chase Plane) view, so since this plane does not have a 2d cockpit…

Hey, I am using my view select middle mouse button, but I got a small problem (maybe I am just not understanding something). When ever I press middle mouse button, the menu for view select opens up, but I can click what ever is there as the menu opens, but I cannot scroll through using mouse. I tried point on and away from the menus, nothing is helping. Menu come up, but the scroll isnt working. Thanks ahead

Hello, I know that ChasePlane can be "paused" and trackIR used with no problems, but I really would like to have trackIR for inside the cockpit and ChasePlane for outside views, without ever have to pause anything.... Is/will that be possible? thanks!

...the lag fix! Hi all, You may have seen in another post that I have been experiencing lag/stuttering when using CP. I am sad to report that this problem has been getting worse, and seems to be worse depending on the aircraft you are flying. It only occurs when changing presets/switching between onboard and outside views, and after extensive testing (mainly during flights) I can confirm that it is chaseplane. The title tells everything, this application is absolutely fantastic but it basically disables my hat switch. No way to make it working as the hat switch does in the vanilla FSX SE? I don't want to spend money for FSUIPC, I'm expecting a native support.

Great piece of software. I have one thing to note and I'm sorry if his was mentioned somewhere and I missed it...I did a search for wind and nothing seemed to cover it; so here I go! lol Love the wind effect - I use AS16 for my WX engine and with ChasePlane I get a great deal of realism by adding the shake to my POV. That being said, I feel that at cruise or at high FL's it shouldn't always be that shaky. Of course one would say lower the slider! right? well I want the shaky wind effect during many occasions during my flight but at cruise planes simply just dont shake like that. Hi, While in FSX I always get headtilt when ever the plane is moving around, if I turn 90-100 degrees I sometimes move to a different seat or view outside of the aircraft. I was wondering if chaseplane eliminates that prior to purchase

Hello, This is a great piece of software! Would it be possible in a future release to adjust the UI for editing preset positions? While the current functionality of using the CTRL key and clicking the up and down "v"'s works functionally, I find that it's a bit tedious to move a preset a long distance in the list. Specifically, one has to move the mouse cursor each time the preset position adjusts. A welcome alternative might include one of the following options: 1. Drag the camera preset to its new position 2. Provide up and down "v" controls that in a constant position with respect to the ChasePlane window 3. Hi Keven: Don't know if this has been answered before, but in case you don't want to use ChasePlane (for instance with the AS airbuses, that have their own preset views by default), how I can get rid of any influence of ChasePlane in all the camera views?. I tried it without opening ChasePlane with P3D and what I get is that default preset views of the AS airbuses have been changed by ChasePlane and zoomed differently, furthermore, no mouse zoom action can be done in some of the views. I recently purchsed REX WX Advantage Radar to install in the Flysim Lear 35. When RWXAR is installed and I load up P3D HF2, ChasePlane loads up, Turns green to show it is communicating with P3D, but it never loads the saved PRESETS which from my understanding are in the cloud? I am wondering if there is some conflict between how RWXA communicates with the sim to get weather info and how chaseplane gets its presets? Like a network port socket conflict or something? Just a wild guess. I uninstalled RWXAR and chaseplane went back to working normally. When the problem happens I can manipulate the UI to look at preferences but the PRESET section is hung or dead.. The vibration when shutting down the engine comes too late on the A2A C182. The prop is already standing still when the vibration continues for maybe two or three seconds. This effect works fine and synchronized to the prop movement on other piston aircraft like the Carenado C185.

On what is a most fantastic piece of software to date, I find that the display of the main window inconsistent. If I allow my PMDG 777 to auto-start ChasePlane, then the main window is not automatically displayed. If I subsequently wish to alter my camera settings, I have to execute ChasePlane manually in order to get to the display of the main window. When I then am done altering my camera settings and close the window, ChasePlane as a whole is stopped (i.e. my camera preset keys are no longer active). To regain my key actions I have to maually restart ChasePlane. It would be better if, as now, ChasePlane could be run in the background when auto-started, and …
