ChasePlane Support

Hi guys, another Problem for me, since last update v0.1.68 i have massiv lags on all aircrafts, tested on PMDG 777, 737 and Majestic Dash 8. There are NO FPS drops, the FPS stays normal, but it lags so massive, feels like 2 fps or something like this, and ikt gets worser when i´m airborne. It´s definitely a CP Problem, coz when I close CP it gets smoothe again, as it should be. Hope you can help, greets.

Hi I've just bought Chase plane but not yet installed yet, I am currently running Ezdok for my views,should i uninstall ezdok before installing Chase plane or can i have both installed in the short term Thanksv

To me the ground roll effect feels too weak at low speed and too strong at high speed. When I found an appropriate setting for taxi at 10 kts the effect is much too strong at the end of the takeoff roll. And vice versa with an appropriate setting for the takeoff roll the effect is barely noticeable when slowly taxiing. I'm not saying the calculations of Chaseplane are wrong because this certainly is highly subjective. But it would be nice to have the option of individual settings for both a low speed (maybe 10 kts) and a high speed (maybe the flaps up stallspeed from the aircraft.cfg, roughly corresponding to the takeoff speed) and have Chaseplane interpolating a…

Hi Keven, In v0.1.71 I am finding that the blue and red key and button settings are difficult to read. Could you use a brighter colour set to help me? Ta!

I have a problem when when I center mouse click the interface does not appear, sometime it does, mostly it doesnt. I think some of the the problem is that the interface is to far right, sometimes I can see the left edge of it I am using a high resolution monitor, not sure but that might be relevent. thanks Pete

Somehow uninstalling my Chase Plane and doing a fresh start my camera.cfg + camera.cfg.bkp generate inside App Data is gone, anyone has the default file to send me please? Or just copy paste and I create a new file. I'm using P3D v3.4

Hi, I´m having trouble with Chase Plane and if its possible, I need some help. First of all, when I change the option in the SETTINGS to auto-lanch with FSX:SE, than restart the program, this option move back to "OFF". The same happens when I change the number of CPU Assignments. When I start FSX, Chaseplane have to be started manually. (It is not hide near the clock, I always check that) Other concern its about using the Radar contact with Chase plane. I always used the numbers 1-0 for the cameras, and Crtl + Shift + the same numbers to the RC shortcuts. Hi guys, Firstly, just wanted to say that I was pretty hesitant about purchasing this program considering the cost. After using it I'm really glad I've got it, has completely changed how I use the camera system. Getting around the VC is much easier and fast and being able to use the camera like an avatar is great! Well worth it so far.... I have an issue and also a suggestion; Issue - when exiting FSXSE, I've noticed that steam doesn't recognise that the game has closed if there are still apps attached to it if that makes sense. E.g. OK, so this is because the mouse is visible when panning around the cockpit using the middle mouse button. When panning over VC buttons/dials/switches the mouse sometimes changes form i.e. into a hand. This change in form is causing a stutter. So when you pan from from one side to the other, or on the overhead panel in the VC where there are lots of buttons, the stutters are very noticeable. This is not so bad on GA planes and also in the NGX, but in the PMDG 777 it is REALLY bad. Would it be possible to have an option to hide the mouse cursor when panning?? Thanks,

Great program so far! Love pretty much everything about it. The one issue I would like to see addressed in the near future so I don't vomit all over my keyboard is the wind buffet jitter effect you guys programmed in when reaching near max speed for a given air frame. The 737NG often flies very close to the overspeed max when at cruise over 33000. What happens in ChasePlane on every single flight is when I get up around 33000+ feet and my speed is near the .79/.80 Mach range the cockpit camera starts to jitter up and down and I think it has to do with your coding in regards to overspeed wind buffeting. Hi In v 0.1.68 there was a notification once I loaded up the pmdg 777 saying that I need to restart my sim because Chaseplane did some changes to resolve problematic cameras. What does chaseplane exactly do? If the aircraft.cfg gets touched does chaseplane restore it to default once I uninstalled it?

I can move around every aircraft in an outside camera preset of course. Using an XBox-like gamecontroller this works quite convenient (as long as the aircraft isn't a taildragger but that will be fixed soon hopefully) and that alone made Chaseplane a gamechanger for me. Nevertheless I tried to setup a walkaround camera sequence with Chaseplane so I could just relax and watch the walkaround switching from one preset to another. But I ran into several problems (e.g. proper transition speed between presets; how to exclude the walkaround presets from outside views I like to cycle through during flight but still be able to cycle through them on the ground). Many things in CP are simply awesome, but two feature that made worth getting are: 1 - because I use 3 monitors, every time I started a flight I had to correct the cockpit camera now that is done automatically. what a great thing if you use multi monitors. 2 - the head movement and turbulence effect made a little more realistic to fly. absolutely a must have addon.

Will it be possible to chain together a set of camera positions so that an avatar can perform an aircraft walk-around with appropriate transition speeds?

I'm really enjoying Chaseplane more and more the deeper I get into it. Looking forward to all the things that still are to come. How about an option to set the transition time not only globally but preset specific? I.E. for each preset set the transition time to reach that preset defintion. For example the transition time used from a left rear view to a left front view at a Cessna looks totally different when used on something like the T7. Also I'd like to have different transition times for moving views inside the cockpit (still a difference between Cessna and T7 cockpit) and for outside views. Hi guys, Have some Problems with the Majestic Dash 8 since the last update. I spawn in the cockpit view and everything works, but when i switch to the outside view, and then back to cockpit, the cockpit views stop working, it freezes on the left frtont window, and I can´t switch through the cockpit views anymore. The outside views still working. Have this issue only with the Dash 8. I have P3D V3.4.14.18870 and Majestic Dash 8 Q400 Pro V1018e

On initial use (with 0.1.68), I have 8 on-board presets. So I have presets that do not appear on the initial view. Would it be possible to enable preset items to be drag/dropped up/down the list so that my most used presets are immediately visble on the intial view? Ta!

I have P3Dv3.4 latest installed. In v0.1.68 I receive the above message even though I have no P3Dv2 installed. This with Preferences.Simulator set to Auto-Launch with P3Dv2 disabled and Auto-launch to P3Dv3 enabled. What to do?

hi, i get an error message about chaseplane not being able to change the camera or something and it points to a thread about fslabs airbus and some other aircraft. my external view is stuck inside the aircraft and switching presets doesn't seem to do anything. it looks like according to that post there is some hotkey i can edit or remove, but i think something is amiss as i did not need to edit anything for this stuff to work before. it was working great yesterday! the planes i'm seeing the problem with are the jahn c-47 and the pmdg 737. Looking at Jordon Kings video (exellent) where he shows adding some new presets, he appears to have his aircraft loaded on the left under aircraft. I do not see any of my aircraft available in that menu. How do I add them or am I missing something? thanks Pete Further to that, my static camera isn't clickable, greyed out?
