RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I purchased the RXP GTN 750 on April 28. After reading the manual at least two times, I finished the installation of the RXP 750 and processed to install the RXP GTN 750 into Carenado's Turbo Commander as well as Carenado's Citation Jet. I then loaded the Citation Jet, opened up the plug in menu for the RXP GTN 750, and sized the RXP GTN 750 to fit the cockpit, however the RXP GTN 750 screen was blank. I then loaded the Turbo Commander and had the same thing happen again. After reading the various Forum section, I did find a small number of members with situations similar to mine, however the situation was not resolved. Thanking you in advance......

I just updated my 750 to the latest version. I have a couple of problems. The Master GTN is a black screen. The second 750 works okay but my previous flight plans have disappeared. Also as I was updating I got a 404 error when I had the GTN Trainer box checked. I unchecked it and it updated but with the problems. Any suggestions where I might look?

I have referred to the GTN 750/650 manual and still have some questions. I will try to explain the situation as clearly as I can. I am recovering from a hard drive crash. I have a new replacement Windows/Programs (C) drive and a separate (D) drive for X-Plane. I had Reality XP installed on my C drive and had to reinstall Reality XP (GTN 750 and 650) when the drive failed, but lost all of my previously saved User Defined Waypoints since they were apparently saved on my C drive. Hi, My previous post got deleted because it was a duplicate of another post. Well it was because three developers are involved and I don't know which. Hopefully I won't get deleted again.... A few days ago I began to notice that Pilot2ATC was behaving strangely. On starting it, it wouldn't finish an ATIS report, stopping after a few words and then starting again. Finally, after getting clearance, the tower tried to hand me off to departure and after departure started to respond, tower came back and tried the handoff again. There are two issues, sort of interlinked: Once you remove the bezel, you cannot move the GTN around the screen by mouse. As a result of (1) I popped the window out to move it and then unpopped it and now, whatever I try (and I have tried a lot of things) the GTN causes a separate instance of the X-Plane window to appear and sits on it. I can only get to the second instance by Alt-Tabbing, and I cannot get rid of it. Apart from not being able to see the GTN, it also kills my frame rate. Any idea how to get rid of the second window and get the GTN back on the main window?

@RXP are you aware of this? I can reproduce it on stock plane as well as my modded plane -- log file gets flooded with this as soon as you enable RXP unit (even as a 2D integration with no 3D component.) It's happening on the Airfoillabs King Air 350 It then repeats this over and over until memory overload and game crashes. Let me know if you can think of anything; maybe another bug with Airfoillabs?

I just bought the 750 so I could use it with the AFL King Air. When I installed it, one of the first steps was to check off a version of Flight Sim or P3D... no XP... I carried on with the install, then installed the AFL plugin. In the cockpit, I get the bezel for the Garmin, but the screen shows the old stock radar screen. Not sure where to start with this.

Hi, I purchased yesterday GTN750, but my connection at home is very slow. Is it possible to dowload data (more than 4Gb) on the PC at my work (better connection) and install after on my PC at home ? Thanks for your help

I posted this in a wrong section of the forums. I am re-posting this here. I hope that is OK The issue I had before was gone with the latest update to the GTN750. And that was the GPS/NAV switching back and forth VLOC to GPS...VLOC to GPS. Not sure if this is even a GTN issue. I launched the sim hopped into the F33 Bonanza REP. This time though I decided to do a FSE flight. As soon as I started the FSE flight t he GPS/NAV switch started hopping between the VLOC/GPS modes. Any thoughts? Latest software updates installed for everything. When I select start flight the flipping starts. When I land and complete the flight the flipping stops. This only …

Excuse me, but GTN750 does not see FlightPlans. Is there an error in my configuration?

When I engage VCALC, there is a alert message to inform me on GTN display. Is there option to engage sound alert too?

Looks great! are the GTN tuning knobs and buttons/keys all functional in the VC?

I fly the default cessna 172 with G1000 and GTN 750. I observe a 3 degree difference in the hsi’s. How can I correct this? John

I have the Carenado King Air B200 for X-Plane and the GTN 650/750 package. I noticed tonight that the GTN 650's make extremely fast/hard banks when navigation routes. I disabled the GTN's and tried it with the built in GNS 430's and it was not as quick abrupt. Is this common and does anyone know how to adjust it? I wasn't sure if maybe the AP parameters need to be adjusted or if this is something within GTN? I looked through manual and couldn't find anything. Thanks all!

Hi, I updated my GTN650 to the new version. Now my screen is black like the device is switched off. I downloaded again, did a fresh install, reinstalled the aircraft (C152 by Nhadrian). I have now tried too many times. New installation says 'exceeded activations'. Can you please help? Would like my GTN650 back working. Kind regards, Jeroen

I own a full AATD that yes gets a little commercial use, but primarily for me for personal use. When i'm PLAYING AROUND personally, I'd like to install my home-use licensed GTN 750, cause it's not being used in a commercial setting.... just me doing PilotEdge..... Will the 750 install and run under XPlane Pro 9.7 at all, or will it force me into a pro version somehow? Is a pro version even available if i find students want to start using it too? i will honor the license limits, but I am sure from my usage you can understand my reasonable question... Hello people I might be interested in the GTN750 and would like to understand a bit more about it. Is there an FAQ somewhere, I asked RXP directly and was told to post this in the forums? My main question is, will the GTN750 have full support for regions outside North America? I understand it relies on the GTN/GDU 620 PC Trainer software but that comes with a statement saying Garmin Navigation Database (North America). Does it require a subscription to keep data up to date and also to cover other regions? Thanks

I just ran the e -commerce updater to update the GTN 750 to 2.5.16.1, but when I start the GTN in the aircraft, the initial screen just says 2.5.16 is this correct?

man, i'm having all sorts of issues with this and its really bumming me out. i just pulled up my Turbo Commander and was very excited to see the 750 automatically installed on the dash! However after 5 minutes the screen gets weird and it says "RealityXP Software Expired of Invalid", and it makes me very sad because I just bought this product YESTERDAY and now I don't have a working GPS in my airplane. Can someone please help. also the 750 isn't appearing in several of my planes including the Otter. And i thought i was good with computers...
