	Hi, quick question:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm flying on a heading towards a target. At a certain point, I set the target as a user waypoint in the GTN750. Before activating it, I'm perfectly lined up with the course. But the moment I activate it, the helicopter turn slightly to the right and starts flying parallel to the line, staying offset to the right - which is not what I want.
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?
</p>

	Hi Guys ... help needed...
</p>

<p>
	Reinstalling X-plane 12 Reality GTN 750 software to sync updates due o having issues with importing Flight Plans. The SYSTEMS are running a home build flight deck for the Airfoillabs King Air 350 with the GTN750, it had all been working for a long time, but during running the updated Garmin Aviation Trainers 6.4.1 installer and the Reality GTN750 Garmin Trainer Setup 3.8.2.0... both installers 'stop' during the Garmin Aviation Trainers  Aviation app and Database build - located in 'Programme File (86)\Garmin\Trainers' folder and the database in 'Programme Data\Garmin\Trainers' Folders --- with an <u><strong>ERROR code 0x80070643 and a statement "A newer version of the  application already exists". </strong></u>Also, when installing Reality Garmin GTN  - it stops with error code 1603. Neither should happen...  I had removed all the  Garmin software from the system prior to reinstallation. I've cleaned the system of Garmin with different 'Uninstallers' and checked the registry and installation folders. Several revisions later and still... it will not install - same error code. There must be a files somewhere that the installer references before advancing to the installation... but where/what is it? I'm reasonably adept at software and PC systems but somewhat stumped at the moment.
</p>

<p>
	&gt; Can anyone advise why this is happening and a fix? - log files don't give much info....hummm. Tried Garmin Trainer Setup 3.6.4.0 and GTN Setup.msi both same result.
</p>

<p>
	&gt; Originally running Garmin GTN Trainers version 6.62.1 but wanted to update to 6.73.0 however, cannot find this latest version to download? Anybody knows where this can be downloaded?

<p>
	Issue: Drag and drop of GNS or GTN from right panel to left panel does nothing (left panel is clear of all instruments so there is space).
</p>

<p>
	1.  RealityXP GNS or GTN set to master, still doesn't work.
</p>

<p>
	2. Verified latest versions.
</p>

<p>
	3.  In RealityXP Plug-ins menu, settings, everything is "locked" for the GNS/GTN as expected when working with Third Party integration (this is normal).
</p>

<p>
	4.  Able to show the GNS or GTN window via RealityXP Plug-Ins Menu and the units are working as expected in their "own" window.
</p>

<p>
	Is this just broken/bug in 12.4.x beta, or am I missing something?

	Hi

<p>
	Been using P2ATC for some time and works with the Reality GTN750 installed in the AFL King Air 350 aircraft. Updated to Pilot2ATC version 3 this week and working through the implementation... However, when using the RealityGTN750 in the sim to import a flight plan it ..."Fails to import!".  The set up is per manual with the correct folder <span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\Databases\FPLN<span> that show the list of .gfp flight plans saved from Pilot2ATC and Simbrief, validated correctly and also a copy of the sample .GFP file from the  </span></span><span style="background-color:#f7fafc;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">\GtnTrainer\flightplan.zip.</span><span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;"><span> Interestingly <u>the sample .gfp </u>file does open in the GTN750, but none of the other .gfp files will load - showing the error "Import Failure". I have used the sim in NON-Admin mode as per some recommendations on the web - no change. I've uninstalled and re installed the Reality software - no change. </span></span>

	<span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;"><span>I did have one instance that did load! but that showed errors " No standard Airways" and the other "incorrect waypoints". I am wondering if there is a problem with the databases as the Reality GTN is the original version unchanged and of course P2ATC and Simbrief use UpToDate air packs from Navigraph. </span></span>

	Hi everyone,
</p>

<p>
	I'm hoping for some assistance regarding a failed purchase of the GTN 750 for X-Plane.
</p>

<p>
	I attempted to purchase the product today (17 Dec 2025). The RealityXP website advertised a sale price ($35USD), so I downloaded the currently available coupon file.
</p>

<p>
	When I ran the Flight1 installer:
</p>

<ol>
	<li>
		I entered the coupon code
	</li>
	<li>
		I noticed the text said the coupon expired in October 2025, but the installer accepted it anyway and correctly updated the price to the advertised amount of $35
	</li>
	<li>
		Because the website explicitly advertised the sale and the installer updated the price, I proceeded
	</li>
	<li>
		I completed the purchase through PayPal
	</li>
	<li>
		Immediately after PayPal authorised the payment and the funds were deducted from my account, the installer failed and terminated the process with an error stating the order could not be processed because the coupon is expired.
	</li>
</ol>

<p>
	The PayPal transaction is currently on 'authorisation' status and will be returned to my account automatically in a few days,but this doesn't resolve the issue.
</p>

<p>
	This situation effectively constitutes illegal false advertising; the website is promoting a sale price and providing a coupon that the system validates, but it impossible to actually complete the purchase at that price. It isn't acceptable to advertise a specific price, authorise a payment for it, then refuse to deliver the product.
</p>

<p>
	I simply want to purchase the product at the price currently advertised on the website ($35), can anyone please provide some assistance or guidance, or if the developer is active on here could they please get in contact with me?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks.

	Hi,<br /><br />
	I've read all the pages I could possibly find on the forums describing the same issues I'm having and none of the solutions have worked. When I load into the Simulator, the GTN650 is Dark Grey and it says 'Rebooting'. It does nothing with power, or without it. I've read all forums with the same and similar issues and the solutions don't seem to work for me. I had the same issue last night, after consistently restarting the sim It eventually worked. I logged back on this morning and had the same issue, I did some re-installing and tried to diagnose it for about 2 hours but no luck. I used to use the GNS430 RXP a couple months back, but have just re-installed X-Plane 11 again with only the GTN 650.  I currently have the latest fully working Garmin Trainer Software, and the RXP GTN 650 Installed. Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to apolgise for making another topic, but I've been staring at the other ones for what feels like an eternity but with no luck.<br /><br />

<p>
	Hi, this is the tutorial you'll find in the GNS V2 X-Plane User's Manual. Although for the GNS, the same applies identically to the GTN, until the X-Plane SDK offers plugins a more elaborate way to add any 'gauge' to a 3D cockpit.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Introduction: differences between X-Plane and FltSim panels</strong>
</p>

<p>
	in FltSim, there are panels, there are gauges that can be configured on a panel, a gauge is a flat render surface where bitmaps are drawn to and animated over. In the virtual cockpit, FltSim automatically translate and renders the flat gauge surface to the 3D polygon of the panel. From a gauge point of view, it doesn't make a difference, FltSim does this behind the scene. For the user point of view, just add a gauge to a VC section of the panel config, and FltSim displays it.
</p>

<p>
	In X-Plane, there are panels only, and stock gauges/parts only. Everything else is custom-drawn on the screen every time X-Plane redraws the screen. X-Plane has 2 different panels: the 2D and the 3D. Each offer a 'render surface' and it is up to the aircraft 3D model to tell a particular rectangle area from the render surface gets drawn to a particular polygon. Compared to FltSim, there is no user-accessible way to configure a 3D panel.
</p>

<p>
	Our plugin has to do many things on its own, but in this department, it internally re-creates the notion of 'per aircraft panel' configuration (our RealityXP.GNS.ini file). With this, it can have per-aircraft configuration, which tells on which panel(s) and at which coordinates you'd like to render the GNS gauge (2D/3D). However, if an aircraft model does not map the 3D panel render surface to a polygon, unlike FltSim, you won't be able to display the gauge on the 3D panel. To this effect, we've been discussing with X-Plane developers and they are willing to find a way for plugins like ours to be able to 'create' a 3D panel render surface from the plugin even if the aircraft model lacks it.
</p>

<p>
	Next comes the bezel and the mouse interaction. Our plugins (GNS and GTN) offer 3D panel click spots. This means than 'drawing' our gauges with their bezel, you get a flat rendered gauge with working clickspots located on the gauge bezel. It would then look like a flat rendered texture but it is working. A 3D model of the bezel gives the depth of the actual gauge, and permit you configuring the GNS/GTN to render 'screen only'. It is just visually more pleasing.
</p>

<p>
	Replacing any aircraft default X-Plane GPS requires a few easy steps. This chapter is a step-by-step guide to replace the aircraft default GPS with the Reality XP GNS 530W/430W V2 on the stock X-Plane 11 Baron 58.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Find gauge panel coordinates</strong>
</p>

<p>
	The first step consists in finding where to draw the gauge to the 3D panel.
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		Start X-Plane 11 with the Baron 58 and wait until the aircraft is ready on the tarmac.
	</li>
	<li>
		Press the <strong>CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+SPACE </strong>keys to save the panel preview snapshot.
	</li>
	<li>
		Select <strong>Plugin | Reality XP GNS | GNS 1 | GNS 530W 1</strong> if not already opened.
	</li>
	<li>
		Exit X-Plane 11.
	</li>
	<li>
		Open the saved panel preview snapshot with any paint program, like "Paint" included in Windows:<br><span style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">XPlane\Aircraft\Laminar Research\Baron B58\cockpit_3d\-PANELS-\Panel_Preview.png</span>
	</li>
</ul>
<p>
	<img alt="panel_preview_full.png" class="ipsImage" height="1000" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" width="1000" data-src="http://files.100megabyte.com/realityxp/images/forum/gns/b58_panel3d/panel_preview_full.png"></p>

<p>

</p>

<ul>
<li>
		In the paint program, zoom to the centre section where you find the default GPS screen.
	</li>
	<li>
		Write down corners coordinates (pixels highlighted in red below)
	</li>
	<li>
		compute display width like this: <span><strong>width</strong></span> = (X2 - X1 +1) = (534 - <strong><span style="color:#2980b9;">275</span></strong> + 1) = <span style="color:#c0392b;"><strong>260</strong></span>
	</li>
	<li>
		compute display height like this: <span><strong>height</strong></span> = (Y2 - Y1 + 1) = (550 - <span>356</span> + 1) = <span style="color:#27ae60;"><strong>195</strong></span>
	</li>
</ul>
<p>
	<img alt="panel_preview_zoom.png" class="ipsImage" height="461" src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" width="607" data-src="http://files.100megabyte.com/realityxp/images/forum/gns/b58_panel3d/panel_preview_zoom.png"></p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Add the RXP GNS 530W Gauge to the 3D panel</strong>
</p>

<p>
	The second step consists in configuring the GNS 530W to display in the 3D panel.
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		With notepad or any other text editor, open the following file:<br>
		XPlane\Aircraft\Laminar Research\Baron B58\RealityXP.GNS.ini
	</li>
	<li>
		Locate the section header: <strong>[GNS_530_1]</strong>
	</li>
	<li>
		Right below the section header, locate the line starting with <strong>drawto =</strong> .
	</li>
	<li>
		Type a new render target to the end of the list. For example: <strong>drawto = WINDOW, Garmin_530_screen</strong>
	</li>
	<li>
		Add the following text to create a new section at the end of the file, then save and exit notepad
	</li>
</ul>
<p>
	<br><span style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">[GNS_530_1.Garmin_530_screen]<br>
	visible = true<br>
	nobezel = true<br>
	frame.type = PANEL3D<br>
	; display position and dimension (left,top,width,height)<br>
	frame.rect = <strong><span style="color:#2980b9;">275</span>,<span style="color:#8e44ad;">668</span>,<span style="color:#c0392b;">260</span>,<span style="color:#27ae60;">195</span></strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	Note: frame.rect is the actual render position and size: X1 is the left value, the width and height are the value computed in the previous steps. The top value is computed like this: <strong><span>top</span> = "height of Panel_Preview.png" - Y1.</strong><br>
	In this example: <strong><span style="color:#8e44ad;">top</span></strong> = 1024 - 356 = <strong><span style="color:#8e44ad;">668</span></strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong><span>Fly the RXP GNS 530W</span></strong>
</p>

<p>
	<span>When you are done, open X-Plane 11, select the Baron 58 and open the GNS 530W 1 configuration panel. Enable Use X-Plane GPS Commands option then Accept to close the panel. Your GNS 530W displays in the 3D panel, and the bezel knobs and keys are working!</span>
</p>

	Sorry if this question has been asked(I searched and could not find an answer), but does anybody know if the RealityXp GTN750 2d panel can be dragged from xplane 12 cockpit and placed on a touch screen monitor so that it can be interacted with via touch, as the actual GTN unit does?

	I have read of some more cumbersome options that include air manager/air player, but involve purchasing another copy of the software since I have it running on a remote system already. <br />

However, if I run the GTN trainer standalone (Garmin software), the LOC 26 R shows up, and the RNAV 26 E GPS can be used. Why are these approaches suddenly gone, when using the GTN 650 device with the Reality XP software? I checked the AIRAC cycles, and they are identical. Any way I can get these procedures to work?

	Can You Add Waypoints by Tapping on the Map? If not, is there an easy way of adding them. Thanks.

	I need of some assistance with the GTN plugin for X-Plane 12.
</p>

<p>
	The GTN 750 works totally fine, until I pop it out into a new window.  Then it immediately fills up my system memory until X-Plane crashes entirely.  I've tried a completely clean install of X-Plane 12 with the same result.  I looked at the log files, but they are very sparse and contain no real diagnostic information.
</p>

<p>
	Would greatly appreciate assistance with this. <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>

	Hi all. I'm sorry if this has been answered and I couldn't figure out what to search for.
</p>

<p>
	I got the JustFlyte Arrow and have successfully gotten the 750 and 650 to show up in the plane. The 750 works fine and powers the autopilot and the G5 HSI, so that's all good.
</p>

<p>
	However, when I put a flight plan into the 750, it doesn't just show up on the 650 as it does in the real plane. Is there some kind of setting I can trigger to enable this? It's kinda a pain to have to update both GPSes all the time so I can have a map on one and the flight plan on the other.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks much!
</p>

<p>
	Michael

	Hey there,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I am looking for a working 3D object which I can add via planemaker to add to my aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	I already found some files online but when I add them, I can't see it in planemaker. Is there any way, I can add a panel and see it in planemaker and somehow configure it to work?
</p>

<p>
	I try to add a 3D GTN750 to the pedestal of my V Skylabs DC-3. I already managed to replace the default GNS 530, but I would prefer a GTN panel.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Tanks in advance

	Hi all
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Cockpit builder here.  Is it possible to run the GTN under windows (i.e., standalone)? Instead of having to pop out the screen from the virtual cockpit of xplane, and move it to a second monitor, meaning that I ll have to switch to windowed mode, which actually kills my FPS by a factor 2.
</p>

<p>
	Could you please let me know?  Thanks.
</p>

<p>
	Cheers. Stef

	I have an issue with X plane 12 crashing on launch when the Reality XP folder is in the plugins. It works fine on X plane 11 and I see no way to update it. I can not use it and it worked fine in the past.
</p>

<p>
	Using windows 11 and the GTN 750/ and 650.
</p>

<p>
	I am also using Air Manager software now, all worked good on X plane 11. I see no way to get any technical support for this, other than the forum. Any  help, greatly appreciated.

	Hi, I am using the RealityXP GTN750 in X-Plane 12.
</p>

<p>
	What I try to do is simply uploading a flightplan. Following the instructions, I created the necessary folders and placed flightplans in there.
</p>

<p>
	But the GTN750 won't let me import a flightplan. I do not even get the menue option for this.
</p>

<p>
	What am I doing wrong?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I would have posted a picture of the screen here - but do not know how to do this.

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	  I have recently reinstalled the RXP GTN 750 and it works good in the simulator I used which is X Plane 12.  But in the Garmin Aviation Trainer, I am getting some errors when trying to install some garmin versions.<span> </span>
</p>

<p>
	  For example, in Aircraft Trainers tab, I get an advisory that says: The TXi (v3.62) and GTN Xi (v20.42) Trainers must be downloaded.  Then I click 'Start Download' and I get two errors at the top of the page that says:  GTN Xi (v20.42) (30.42.2.0) - Error.  TXi (v3.62) (3.62.2.0) - Error.  Then, when I move to the Version Manager tab and I scroll to GTN Xi (v20.42), for example, this error appears:
</p>

<p>
	Summary: Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).
</p>

<p>
	Complete Error details:<br />
	 - Install Error:<br />
	     - Internet related error. Please check your Internet connection, firewall, and proxy settings and then retry.<br />
	         - Installer error output:<br />
	            Response status code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have checked the internet connection and it is good. I have disabled the antivirus as well and tried it again but nothing works.
</p>

<p>
	  Any idea what it could be?
</p>

<p>
	In advance thank you for your assistance.
</p>

<p>
	Luis
