RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

After removing the setup.exe from the Bitdefender quarantine jail, the 750 loaded into the Carenado Baron and then promptly displayed an Invalid License message and ceased working. Once again, I'm asking for help in installing this product. Thank you.

Hi, I bought the GTN 750 for X-Plane and it works flawlessly. But I had no AI traffic like I have in P3D with UTL. So I installed X-Life traffic into X-Plane 11.35r1 and now I have some nice traffic but the GTN750 doesn't show it like it does in P3D. In fact the traffic button on the GTN 750 is grayed out in X-Plane 11.35r1. Is this by design? I looked in every setting I could find and nowhere will it turn on that traffic button. Why the difference in X-Plane versus P3D? If I could get traffic indicated on the GTN in X-Plane I would be very happy. Many thanks.

Hey everyone, so this is a weird one. I updated to the latest version and got a problem which does not occur 100% of the times I load up my aircraft. Most of the time the GTN 750 "doesn't realize it is already there". I really don't know how to describe it any better. What happens is, that when I go into the plugin menu in X-Plane and I go down to the RealityXP Menu it wants me to select a GTN. So I have the option to select either the GTN 725 or the GTN 750, while the GTN 750 is running in my aircraft fine! Upon clicking one of those, the sim immediately crashes. I have followed all installation instructions, reinstalled it again following some youtube tutorials and yet again nothing is showing in the cockpit. Althought it is not working on any aircraft the main one i am trying to get it to work with is the Carenado Citation II which should work out of the box as far as im aware. I have tried replacing the GTN file wit the default aircraft one from the original download and still it doesnt work. It also isnt working with the PA-28 Arrow or the B1900 from Carenado either. Hi Everytime I want to edit my flight plan, I drag my mouse onto the map and the map moves OK. I then get the tab that states "graphically edit flight plan." So far so good, but when I click on the tab and then drag my flight plan line to a new position, it does not stay there. The line goes back to the original flight path. Any help greatly appreciated. The file C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll is causing me major problems. I have downloaded the latest GTN update and when I try to install it I get the error in the attachment. The file rxpGtnSim32.dll does not appear in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP\GTN Simulation\X-Plane\bin folder when I abort the install and check the directory after the software rolls back. I have tried a clean install after uninstalling the previous version. Same result. If I ignore the error and continue rxpGtnSim64.dll is loaded. But the software does not run under X-Plane. Im experiencing AP oscillations with the AFL king air and the GTN mod. Not occurring with any other mods. Something with the .afc? XP11 11.35.

Hello, I am using the latest update of the GTN750. I use it in all my planes as a floating window sitting on the copilot seat. I fly always in VR with the Rift-S and the floating panel is big enough that I can see it well and manipulate it with the Touch Controllers or the mouse. Another plugin that is active is Pilot2ATC that creates the original flight plan and then scolds me if I don't follow it correctly I enter the flight plan from Pilot2ATC manually into the GTN750 when I am in the cockpit. I also use AviTAB for nav charts and a moving map. So a few days ago, I would be in the beginning of a flight and all of a sudden the GTN750 would lock up. It wouldn't respond …

Hello, Just started using the GTN 750 and have a quick question. During flight w/ VNAV enabled I get some message about it not being supported for this leg of the flight. What does this mean? I did some research on it and found a few threads here about it but it looks like at some point it was changed from VCALC to VNAV. Is it possible to get VNAV working (really only would like ToD calculation) or can I revert back to VCALC?

I'm trying to update from 2.13 to 2.19 for a combined 750/650 system. I used the update option from within xPlane and downloaded the zip file containing rxpGTN-750-XPL and rxpGTN-650-XPL application files. I've run the re-install process using the 750 application file but it gets stuck because it can't overwrite the rxpGtnSim64.dll file in bin folder under GTN Simulation/X-Plane. I still have the 16/02/2019 version of the dll file. I've also tried the ecommerce installer on the home page, but that's no better. Any suggestions about how I can resolve this issue? Thanks

Thanks Jean-Luc. I'll see what I can find. The settings window behind the main window was a windows problem and is an easy regedit fix if any one else has the problem.

Just as a sanity check (at least my own), I just want to verify that the term "database" that has been used over and over recently here does not refer to the only two databases that are identified as databases and listed in the GTN750 "System Status" selection of the "System" screen on the actual GTN750. On my Carenado PC-12 those two databases appear to be the same prior to my successful upgrade to Main Software Version: 6,62.0 TRNG and GPS/WAAS SWVer 99.9. So therefore can I assume that after the upgrade to 6.62 the navigation db will still be WW-ADB2 cycle 1809 16AUG18 and the Basemap db will still be Ver. 18M1 13MAR18? Thank you, Daskal

I tried an ILS appr with the GTN750 in the DHC6-300 Twin Otter (it has a kind of custom AP). I load the appr into the flight plan and activate the first leg. I see the GTN750 standby the right freq for the appr. Then I let the AP flight to the first waypoint using the GPS mode. While the AP do its job, I adjust the ALT to be at the exact height to catch the GS. Then I arm the AP to catch the GS a little before reaching the GS waypoint and wait until I am sure I am right into the GS localizer range. Now, I expected the GTN to automatically (automagicaly I guess ?) switch the CDI to VLOC and swap the NAV freq. But it did nothing! I had to manually …

If I buy the GTN combo, how many installs I would get for a single key? Does it require an internet connection to be launched? I have several PC's with XP11.

@RXP Hello Jean-Luc! I have been successfully using checklists with the plugin on XPlane 11 under Steam on my Windows 8.1 machine for a while now. I even have a software project that pulls checklist data from Garmin Pilot and renders it to an ACE file so you can use the same custom checklist in both places. Thought I'd put this in one place for people who are having the "missing databases" problem with the latest update to the GTN750 1 - Uninstall the installed version of the trainer which will be 2.5 2 - Download this ... http://download.garmin.com/software/GarminTrainerSetup_2400.zip - it contains the 2.4 version of the trainers AND the databases. 3 - Extract all the files and run the setup program That's it - the GTN should now work correctly Mike

hi. i'm approaching MYEF in the Carenado PC-12. I've activated visual approach for runway 12 that includes a 3 degree G/S. however the glideslope indicator is not appearing on the attitude indicator. the lateral navigation is appearing properly though. i've had similar issues with the PC-12 and GTN750 before and asked on the Carenado forum, and the mod said it worked for him and to ask here. i've taken a screenshot but unsure how to post one here. is this a common issue with possibly an easy fix in a setting somewhere? the GTN 750 visual approach system works fine in other modules. thanks.
