RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Mod request: the vFlyteAir Arrow features GTN650 integration already. What I’d really like to do is mod it to dual stack GTN units with the 750 on top, as it can effectively replace the audio panel, and a 650 below for COM2/NAV2. This will fit the existing avionics bay. this is utterly beyond my abilities, I don’t even know where to start! But I’m happy to give it a crack if someone can point me in the right direction 😄

I performed an "update" for RealityXP (GTN750 and GTN65) on X-Plane 11. But in doing so, I have encountered a problem. Now (using Carenado PC-12 as an example) the GTN750 is shown in the instrument panel, but it is dark as though it is turned off (the Avionics 1 & 2 switches on the overhead are turned on). If I go to Plugins | Reality XP GTN | GTN 1, the GTN 750 1 is on and the Master Device is on. If I click on "Show Window" the GTN750 will pop-up and work fine. Before the update, the GTN750 would show lighted in the instrument panel and I could pop it up by right-clicking it. Has anyone managed to get the GTN750 to work with the Carenado G1000 equipped Malibu. I have installed the GTN and ensured it is the master unit. However after loading a flight plan I am unable to get the Malibu's autopilot to see the GTN. Unable to select NAV. I guess it still thinks the G1000 is the master unit for GPS/VLOC. Hi, I think I asked about this some time ago and wondered if there has been any thoughts to cater for us Mac users? We enjoy the GTN750/650 in the Aerobask Eclipse 550 (it is built-in) but if wanting to buy and integrate into the Carenado PC12 for example, I believe (and happy to be proven wrong) it is a windows-only add-on. It would more than great if there are plans to port it to the Mac OS too 🙂

Hi using the gtn750 on the TBM 900 and DA62 and the GPS auto pilot keeps disconnecting mid turn and way points. I installed the latest update and still does it.

Hello, I'm considering purchasing the RXP GTN 750 for X-Plane, but before I do, I wanted to see if it is compatible with the Carenado V35 Bonanza for X-Plane, and if it is, whether or not it would be a challenge to install.

Hi.I bought today the 10th of December and I downloaded the GNT 750 on a computer for use on another computer . It IS INSTALLED ON THE OTHER COMPUTER AND WORKING ok EXCEPT I have an invalid licence warning . I have a transfer licence ( TRANSFER_RXP-GNT750-X9.lic) , a licence key ( christian_weber-rexprxp-gnt750-x9.key) and a proof of purchase (proof_of_purchase_RXP-GNT750-x9) installed in c:/program files (x68)/reality xp folder. What I'm doing wrong?

All, Environment: Windows, XP-11.41, Nvidia - Desktop GTX 1080, GTN 750 of 11/14/2019, HTC Vive VR running under Steam w/ vanilla flightstick as controller. With VR NOT running, placing the GTN 750 and sizing it works well in both 2D and 3D cockpits. But with VR Steam enabled, with the .ini specifying the position and size of the GTN_750_1, the GTN750 appears but it is following my eye, not sticking to the panel. Its focal distance is also much closer to my eye than the panel is. I have looked at others .ini's but don't see which parameter(s) are involved in gluing the GTN 750 to the panel. so i am using xplane 11.4 with duet and an ipad in order to get the 750gtn to work on the ipad ( additional screen for the gauge) I can get things going pretty well in that i can get the ipad recognized and i can move the 750gtn to the ipad BUT....when i move the 750 to my ipad i am unable to use the touch funtion of the ipad to manipulate 750 functions. nothing works I can only use the ipad with a mouse. Installation ok with full functionality for HSI equipped aircraft. All seems well except the C172SP. The CDI needles behave correctly but no autopilot capture at GS intercept. Remains at altitude. The default Garmin works correctly (GTN disabled). Noted the GS always remains flagged even during POWER ON SELF TEST which is not correct. The GTN works correctly on ILS approaches. Can't get the Reality XP 750 to integrate in the panel of the AFM Ovation II available at X-Aviation. Have removed all plugins and still doesn't work.

I just purchased the GTN750 yesterday and I'm amazed by it except for 2 things which I am utterly confused about. 1. As soon as I turn on the battery the 750 turns on even if I dont have avionics power. 2 In all of the aircraft I have tested I am unable to fly RNAV approaches with the GP This is kind of irritating when flying on Networks such as vatsim during approaches to minimums...Boston. If anyone could help I would be very appreciative. Ive read through most of the forums on this topic and I'm not completely understanding how to fix this. Alex

Hello, I love using the GTN 750 with GA aircraft and have had no issues, today I picked up the X-Trident Bell 412 helicopter. I tried different settings in the GTN menu, but the helo will not track a GPS signal from the GTN 750. When I disable the GTN 750 an use the default 530 it picks it up with no problem. I tried changing the OBS setting on the 750, etc. Nothing seems to work, the autopilot tries to pick up the track, but fails. Any ideas? Thanks for any info in advance.

Can anyone please help me fix a very frustrating issue with using my GTN750 on Xplane11. From the get-go I have had a warning on start up telling me that my licence is invalid and to contact the vendor (which doesn't appear to be so easy). I have tried re-installation several times and followed the instructions ensuring the files are in the appropriate place. So far getting very frustrated with the whole thing and feeling a bit ripped off after spending money on this software, which I really need to help my practical use on the real thing.

Here is my setup: 2 computers running latest X-Plane Latest GTN750 installed on Computer 1 Latest RXP Plugin installed on Computer 2 (Unlicensed) Configured for multiplayer via x-plane network The Issue: Load plane with GTN 750 enabled (e.g. Alabeo M20R Mooney) on computer 1, no issues Load a plane on computer 2 (any plane, but lets say Cirrus SR20) On computer 1, my engine panel dies. On computer 2 the MFD dies. Nothing can restore them to operation. I have the GTN 750 and am using it for the TBM 900 on XP. The unit did not couple with the autopilot so I tried to load the update which it does but it doesnt point to the right directory. I uninstalled it from Xplane in order to reinstall but it wont reinstall. need help.

Hey, I have a question about shortcuts in the Reality XP.GTN.ini in my 😧 \ X-Plane 11 \ Output \ preferences. those shortcuts can be assigned to different keys in Plugin Admin HotKey Admin. There are a series of buttons that can be operated, such as the Home button. Now there are also two buttons zoom in and zoom out on the gtn750 and to operate them I have to use the mouse to zoom in or out. I would also like to assign this to a key eg zoom_in NONE_Z and zoom_out CTRL_Z. Can I add two keys like this in the .ini? For the Home test, that is HOME_1 = What do I need for ZOOM_IN and ZOOM_OUT insert or is that not possible?

I recently purchased the GTN 750 for x-plane. I like using flight aware to see routes that airlines and commercial operators use before I create my own flight plan. I immediately noticed that the SIDS and STARS were outdated on the GTN 750. I thought maybe I had updated the airac incorrectly. Changed aircraft and all the STARS and SIDS were up to date. I found out that I can not update the Nav Data. I can not use it to fly online. I am really disappointed with this purchase, especially that it cost 50.00. I really don't want to keep this product. Hello! I've recently started flying according with the IFR rules. There are RNAV (GPS) approaches only but there aren't RNAV (RNP) ones in the RXP GTN750. Is it OK? The database (AIRAC) is actual. Sometimes I have to use RNAP (RNP) approaches. For example, at Yakima airport (KYKM) there is only RNAV (RNP) approach for runway 09 but this approach is missed in the database of the GTN750. Could you tell me please how I can do RNAV (RNP) approaches? I believe it's possible because even default Garmin 430/530 has both RNAV (GPS) and RNAV (RNP) approaches. Thank you in advance.
