RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Hi, Great product here! I got to install it into XP10 and moved the whole RXP folder from XP10 plugins to XP11 plugins. I also followed the instructions on installing the trainer from RXP, then removing it so I could install the Garmin trainer from F1. I followed the instructions and renamed the folders, etc. Then removed the GTN trainer and install the GTN trainer lite that comes with F1 GTN for P3D. Now for some reason the GTN is always off I can't seem to turn it on. I wonder if I am missing something. Do I need to keep the GTN trainer from you guys installed? The thing is that it doesn't allow me to keep both (the one from Fli…

Hi Jean-Luc. I am really enjoying the GTN750 in XPlane11. One question: I do not see the approach frequency transferring to the VOR NAV radio 1 or 2. I thought that this did work in P3D but it does not seam to function in XPlane11. It doesn't matter whether I select GPS or not. I do not see the Localizer or Glide Slope indicators come alive after activating the Approach. Thanks a lot, Howard

I was able to successfully install the RXPGTN750 and it is Beautiful. I was trying to attach some pictures but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I am writing this on my iPhone.

I bought the RXP GTN 750 for XP10 yesterday and it works pretty well. However, I have some problems with nav data. Some airports are missing when running in the sim. For instance, try going to KFME. KFME is available just fine when running the PC Trainer standalone. It's also available from xplane's default Garmin 530. I've seen this with a few other airports as well. Is there something I need to do to fix the database?

The Xplane CDI does not appear to take its input from the GTN when doing an RNAV approach. I'm not even sure CDI is getting its deflection from the GTN trainer when ILS is selected but it does deflect - I'm assuming its from the navigation radio on Xplane since it selects the same navigation frequency the Trainer is using. I noticed a small discrepancy between the Xplane CDI and the GTN CDI On an RNAV approach the graphical CDI on the GTN itself moves correctly but it is not driving the CDI gauge on the aircraft (steam gauge), but it would be nice if the xplane gauge moved. Thanks for the Update. The Charts are shown on the "Charts" main display. However, when on approach, the Approach Chart bleeds through the Map Display, that is, the approach chart is visible on the Map Display (although at lower resolution and not orientated with Track UP). GTN Touch v2.2.3 is now released and includes the following changes: New: Radios support both 25hz and 8.33hz COM spacing. Bug: acquiring GPS when flying in the South hemisphere. The GTN will now acquire the GPS properly when at YMML for example! Please note 8.33Hz COM spacing requires X-Plane 10, otherwise, our implementation falls back to 25Hz in XP9.

Maybe I'm missing it but. . . Is there yet a way to integrate these gauges into 3D cockpits? Or is this going to be the province of the designers--Carenado, vFyte, etc? Best, Marshall

Sample flight from KACV-KEUG. There are 2 issues: 1) Load PROC\KEUG, Select RNAV 16R Y, Load Approach OK. Next CHARTS/Loading... NO CHART IS DISPLAYED! 2) Load PROC/Approach/Charts/APPROACH and the APPROACHES ARE DIFFERENT, e.g. RNAV Z 16R is shown but NOT available in 1). If you select the RNAV Z 16R it does NOT Appear in the flightplan nor is displayed. I appreciate your comments--Thanks, Robert

First I love this product and it works in many of my aircraft. However, in the STMA PC-12, which uses the default GNS 530, the GTN is a blank window. In essence, it doesn't turn on. To be clear, its not the previous win10 anniversary issue. In this case, the GTN is present, its just off. I'm wondering if there is some conflict with another plugin in the aircraft or whether there is something I am missing to turn it on. Any thoughts?

Hi and thank you for a great product. I bought your lovely software today and am playing around with it in my Airfoil labs 172. I noticed that for ILS to work with my Nav 1 CDI I need to have the included 430 on. This bugs me a little and it would be nice to be able to turn off the embedded GPS. Is there a setting or a way to do this and still use the Nav 1 CDI? Reading through the threads here I also noticed some comments about this software being included in AFL 172 and a Mooney. Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for creating and offering the GTN 750 & 650 for X-Plane. It is something that is really needed. I have the GTNs and use them a lot in P3D and really missed having them so much in X-Plane. I understand now that AirfoilLabs is working with you to get the GTNs to install in the VC panel of their Cessna 172. That will be a great combination. I'm looking forward to it. I purchased both the 650 and 750, not realizing that they were for 32bit version of X-Plane 10, but I don't mind at all waiting until you release them in 64bit version now that I know it will be an upgrade.
