RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

Cant be happy enough to see how the GTN 750 is finally being implemented in Xplane 11 aircraft. However, the GTN 750 that is in the radio stack panel works great but, i cannot use the touch screen. Is there something i am missing? I have to manualy select the window for it to pop to actually use the touch screen. My impression was that you could use the touchscreen without having to manually select the GTN window to pop up another window to operate the GTN 750. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to use the GTN 750 over network when running one computer as master and the other as a co-pilot machine? Would it sync all the data and work as expected? So two PCs with the exact same copy of X-Plane and aircraft and GTN750 installed on both machines.

Hello and thank you for your effort. I have just bought the GTN 650 and installed it in XPL 10. I installed the 2.4.0.0 version from the official RXP store, not the release candidate from this forum. During installation I got the trainer install error, but I continued the installation. After finishing the RXP installation I manually unzipped and installed the trainer which the installed downloaded. I did not change any paths, and this is the only Garmin trainer installed. In ProgramData/Reality XP I see foru .dll and one .rxp file. My rxpGTN.xpl.log contains only 17/04/15 18:52:38.748 08836 - ] # win.xpl version 2.4.0.0 My rxpGtnSim.dll.log contains…

Just recently bought the GTN-750 for XP-11. How do I assign a key so that whatever plane I am in, I can just simple press the assigned key and have the GTN-750 open in a popup? I prefer not to use the plug-ins menu. Any help is appreciated. Also, when the popup appears, how do I turn the GTN-750 on? Within P3D, all I had to do is click the GTN-750 screen, but that doesn't appear to work in XP-11. Thank You, PDX

Hi Jean-Luc. 1. I have to first start the trainer, then exit the trainer and then start Xplane11 in order to get the 750 to run. Otherwise I get the black screen. 2. I get the following message when the 750 starts: "FPL WAYPOINT LOCKED Stored flight plan waypoint is not in current navigation database." Thanks, Howard

While installing version 2.4.2 I get 2 error notices: One says setup could not install the extra files. The Garmin Trainer installer returned. The system cannot find the file specified. Two says an error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory. Move file failed, code 5. Access is denied. Then when starting the sim, the GTN750 just has a black box and does not start up. I tried, but cannot attach my log files to this message. I originally had version 2.2.4.0 and then installed 2.4.2, but not over the original. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still got the same 2 error messages and black screen. Now …

Luc, Running in Windows 10 and with latest version 2.4.2, windows defender anti virus found the following: Trojan: Win32/Fuery.B!cl found in file:C:\ProgramData\Reality XP\rxpGtnSim32.dll Can you please comment on this and remove this trojan horse from rxpGtnSim32.dll? Marc.

Hi Jean-Luc. I am currently using version 2.2.4.0 with my GTN 750 in XPlane 11. Should I be using a newer version and if so, where can I download it from and should I first delete the current version before the new install or can I install over the current version? Reading a lot of various info on the GTN750 in Xplane 11 and have a simple question. Does the RXP GTN 750 install in the default C172 3D panel? I need it in the 3D panel for VR flying on Pilot Edge and will buy it if I know it works and there is instructions on how to install it into the default C172. I am completely new to Xplane and trying to give it a proper go. many thanks for any replies.

Anyone figure out What Command can be used to configure a joystick button to Toggle the CDI/GPS button on the reality xp GTN 750 running in X-Plane 11. Reality Xp is running as a pop up window not as a installed Radio, Controling Nav 1 radio.. thanks in advance

I downloaded and installed the files as per what I think were the instructions and I end up with this error, " Setup could not install the extra files, The Garmin Trainer installer returned: The System cannot find the file specified Setup will now continue installing normally but the product will fail running Properly" I start the sim, Plugin is there open it up on the screen and its blank cannot turn on. Any ideas ?

I use x-plane 11 (beta 17) and I am considering purchasing the GTN 750. I was wondering what kind of frame rate hit I would get when using this program? I realize this question varies with type of computer but for those who implemented it on their computer, what frame rate hit they saw. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer. Just installed the GTN 750 and I am wondering if the the CDI is implemented to show course deflection? I loaded a flight plan and coupled the auto pilot which the airplane followed correctly. I did notice that the CDI never moved to show any course deviation. I was flying in Nav mode so I went to heading mode and purposely flew away from the track. The CDI needle never moved. I tried various settings in "settings" with no changes. I then tried a DTO and although the airplane flew the correct course to the new waypoint the CDI remained motionless. What am I missing? I think the answer is in the Forum, but I am not finding it simiply spelled out. I just bought the RXP GNS 750 and installed it in XPlane 11. I like the product so far. My question is: How do I replace some of the instruments in stock 172 with the GNS 750? I think it can be done, but I am just a simple user, please forgive me ahead of time. really like being able to have the large version, but would like to integrate it into the panel, like other instruments and just click on it to make it big when I need it, and click on again to put it back in its proper place in the panel. Just trying to find out if there is a fix for a problem I just noticed with the GTN 750 in the VFlyteair Cherokee. Using XP11-pb15. When I change frequencies on the GTN, they are changing on the COM 2 radio, and not the COM 1. (And NAV) It works in the other planes I have tried, (the default 172, Alabeo C404) Anyone else notice this in any others?

Okay, maybe I'm just a bit GPS challenged but, even though my 750 Touch GPS worked before, now that I've updated to version 2..4, I get a blank screen again. Now I should mention that I fly XP10 exclusively and refuse to upgrade to XP11 until all the beta testing is done and that I did experience a hard disk failure last week and had to reinstall most everything. But, after all that, the GPS was working just fine; right up until I had a brain fart and updated to v2.4. Am I the only one experiencing this? It's driving me nuts and any help would be most appreciated.

I have xplane 10 on desktop win 7,,,and laptop win 10 gtn 750 was working on both computers then my gtn 750 on laptop stopped working..tried to reload it 6 times but after installing the garmin trainer is just hung up cpu running at 16 percent i let it run for 20minutes but nothing.... and the gtn 750 shows up greyed out on computer with little gtn 750 showing in red at bottom .... what can cause this problem?? and yes my f1 account is activated for this purchase i do love that garmin 750

Is the 2.4 update for XP-11 only? I ask because it doesn't seem to work in XP-10 for me.
