RXP GTN 750/650 Touch

I am now getting black screens in every plane that has the GTN750 since an update. This has happened before. Is anyone else getting this issue. Ruining my flights with no GTN :|

Hi. I just yesterday I updated my reality XP and garmin trainer to latest version. For some reason when I enable "failures" on the COM radio has red crosses, so it fails immediately. Previous version didnt have this issue? any fix existing? or has anyone else ran into same problem? I 100% positive that there is no failures in sim on. I just dataref tool to check this. Antti

I have been struggling with getting RXP to work with My RSG GNS 430 and GTN 650 boxes. I emailed RSG and they told me it sounds like an RXP issue. I have the latest version of XPlane on Windows 10. When I start up, the rxp boxes usually don’t reappear in the gns and gtn screens. They appear back on the main screen, I have them in pop out mode and try to drag and drop them but they won’t go. Ic an see the mouse on the gtn and gns screens, but I can’t drag and drop the rxp box. I usually end up restarting, closing the rxp boxes, reopening rxp, unplugging the gns and gtn units. Usually, after going around and around for an hour or two. I finally get things working. …

Hi there. I'm not sure if this is something local to my install, but the GTN 750 com1 radios do no function since the most recent 2.5.23.0 update. Tuning into a known working ATIS station fails; no text ATIS information, no speech. Tested with the Carendo Baron 58, reinstalled both; aircraft and the complete RXP & Garmin trainer package. Even tuning ATIS com2 on the default GNS430 fails (havent tried with IVAO/VATSIM). Debug logs in My Documents show everything loading as expected. Hi! I want to replace the default GNS 530 on my Alabeo PA 31 Chieftain with the GTN 750. I edited the window but still doesnt show on the panel, only the default. I am having an issue, ever since I installed GTN 750, randomly (usually reaching CRZ altitude) on my Carenado Cessna Citation II S550 v1.2 on XP11, screen gaguges start flickering. Like even the Carenado menu on the left dissaperas an re-appears! I tried with addons (ActiveSKy, xPilot), without, different weatehr, locations. and always the same thing. I click and the screens flicker, then click again and kind of come back, then click a button and start flickering, and again and again. Impossible to flight. Hello, yesterday I updated the Reality GTN 750 for X-Plane and it worked perfectly, in X-Plane. But today when I ran P3D the GTN 750 was inop. So I own the Reality GTN 750 for X-Plane and the F1 GTN 750 for P3D. How can I make it so I can have both sims run the GTN 750? Thanks.

Trying to replicate my actual panel. I have the GTN 770 installed and it is there only as a pop up. It works fine, but now I have 3 GPS (2 - GNS in panel) and the floating GTN. Is it possible to delete one of the GNS and install GTN in panel? It is a 3d panel, and the plane builder doesn't seem to be much help.

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and have a huge question. I have a BATC approved simulator at home. Fly This Sim brand. Touch Trainer VX. It is all touch screen and has the Garmin 530 in it. I have real planes with Garmin 750's in them. This makes it almost totally useless software wise for me since I have to use a touchscreen to do button turns and pushes. Also the 750 is much more user friendly. The sim uses X Plane 10. Built-in panels for each model of plane. Many panels for each plane. Glass and analog. My question is this. I purchased the GTN 750 last night for X-Plane 11 (I have it for FSX, and absolutely love it!) In the two aircraft I tried, the GTN fully boots up, and everything; however, the screen does not appear to register clicks (It shows it as a clickable region, but I can not select anything on the screen). I can bring up the "Direct To" page via the button, along with return to the home screen via the "Home" button. Scroll wheels work, and everything. I'm at a loss, any input would be greatly appreciated!

I had the Reality XP GTN 650 software working, and then I upgraded my GTN 650 6.62.3, which broke Reality XP.. I am trying to get back to a working state. Since the last update I have not been able to monitor the NAV radios. When I go into the audio section and select NAV1 or NAV2 the green bar lights up and then goes out. I have discovered that I can set the sync for the GTN to both ways and then turn the monitor switch on on the NAV1 radio and monitor but the GTN 750 will not turn the monitor switch off. It's like it's working only one way from the sim to the GTN 750 and not the other way around. The COM radios are working the same way.

Hi All, Love the GTN 650 I purchased. I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial or resources that would show me how to replace the stock GNS 430 in the Airfoil Labs C172 with the GTN 650. I have followed the manual, which allowed me to get the GTN 650 display into the body of the GNS 430. It is functional, but does not look realistic and is a little bit small. I have read through many posts on this forum, including the "Official Panel Configuration Mods" thread and people there have done fantastic work. If anyone that has made a 3D Panel wants to direct me, that would be great. Thanks!

I just updated the Reality XP GTN 750 to the new release. Although it shows it is enabled in the XPlane plugin it no longer substitutes for the default 430/530 or when displayed as a separate window is black. It was working fine before the update.

is there a way to get RXP gtn 750/650 to work in the default C172? for xplane? or is there and addon c172 that it will work in?

Hi, does anyone have the installer for this version? The newest RXP have problems with the older trainer for me. Edit: Apparently the installer for P3D works too, I don't need an older installer for x-plane anymore.

I tried to purchase the GTN 750 and download into my brand new X-Plane 11 software, and brand new computer. I received a "security risk" message that read......Virus Detected, Download Deleted. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to how I proceed from here? I tried purchasing the product 3 times with the same result. Thanks!

Hi, Trying to get VNAV to tell me my TOD etc but it's all greyed out and I get a MSG saying 'Upcoming flight plan leg not supported'. I have an ALT restraint at my FAF which is 1800'. Even if I DTO the VNAV on this waypoint, nothing changes - still no VNAV data. The enroute waypoints have their ALT populated with my current altitude, cruise altitude (FL199 or so the Garmin believes, actually FL200). Then there is a waypoint in descent that it has calculated I will be at around FL150. So the descent profile IS there in the plan, it's just not giving me any TOD/VS info. Any guesses? Okay, partial success. 🙂 Window shows up and GTN starts working. System on panel starts up, too. Buttons are effective, but screen on panel remains dark. Could I please get a hint how to do the settings? Tried a couple of true / false combinations, but didn't work out. Thanks!

I'm really enjoying the GTN750 in X-Plane. It's fine for me to just use it in window mode. What I'd like to do is have a key I could hit to quickly hide and show the window. Is that possible?
