So yesterday I was asking a question about N1, and yet this morning, I've just completed a circuit in a 737-200, and all went fantastically well! I can see this hobby is going to be very addictive. And I can also see how vital and helpful it is to have a community like this one, to help eachother. Looking forward to the next chapter(s)! I am a polish person that got the passion for flying since the early age which was unavoidable as someone with aviation people in the close family. I work as a flight attendant in charter flights (mostly to Dubai, but all over the world) in B737 but occasionally flying in other beautiful machines. Hey guys, long time lurker here, I guess I'm not normally the chatty type but I want to change that and get into this hobby more. I am following a tutorial for an aircraft add-on and all is going sweet, except it is referring to a "N1" value but doesn't explain what that is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm guessing it seems to be about engines, and how far the engine power should be set right? Thanks greatly for your time.

I've recently purchased a fairly decent spec gaming pc. (specs below) I did have the boxed version of FSX but decided to get the steam edition while it was on sale. Ive since bought a few addons, REX essential plus w/overdrive Orbx FTX global base Orbx FTX England Uk2000 Gatwick Ive also bought Ultimate traffic 2 and VFR London and they arrived today but not as yet installed. With the addons, it has certainly improved FSX a bit, but i'm still not getting the good graphics/textures that are advertised on the …

Hi, as a new member my five days are up and now I can post :smile: I've recently downloaded windows 10 and I'm experiencing some issues with running FSX. Whenever I load FSX now where the plane preview window should be on free flight there's just a back screen and I when I load the flight the load screen comes up with the loading bar appearing but also with a now visible graphic of my chosen aircraft placed in the top left of the screen. The load bar disappears but the plane is still there I haven't been able to fly FSX since.. I've deleted the FSX.cfg and let a new one write itself upon loading FSX but the problem remains, are there any thoughts or solutions to this…

Hi to everyone, Let me introduce myself, I’m a 58 year old male who as a former U.S. Army UH-1H/V Huey helicopter pilot, flew as pilot in command for the 1st Squadron 4th Cavalry D Troop Air and 82nd Medical Detachment both out of Ft. Hello everybody! Let me shortly introduce myself.I am guy from Switzerland and a newbie in the avsim forum here but not in the world of flight simulator. The first version I got was Flight Simulator for Windows 95. For the last 6 months I was totally fascinated by DCS Warthog (a really excellent fighter simulation) but since a few weeks I am into FSX again. I am currently using chrome and I was able to download liveries scenery etc. but now when press download it takes me to the download page and it just keeps me there and I try to spam the the link of the download but that's not working either it just stays there saying sending request please help me. Windows 8.1 64 bit

I'm posting here rather than Avsim.su because the registration process seems bugged for the forums there. This is my issue: I can't download from avsim.su. When I click download, it just reloads the page. I click download again and the same thing happens over and over again. Files on avsim.su can't be found elsewhere when I look, and they look like really good planes. I was wondering if anyone here knows what the problem is.

Hi I am a new member to Avsim and look forward to reading all the valuable information in the forums. I have been having a number of problem with FSX which has caused my system to crash with fatal errors for a number of months. Today I found a video on you tube which I think has solved my problem and I would like to share with anyone who is having the same problems as I had. My problem was that I had to do a factory reset due to other problems and when I reloaded FSX certain keys on my keyboard caused a fatal error and took me out back to the desktop. Hi, Does anyone happen to have downloaded copies or a link to FSXGenius' FSX Flight School Videos? I know he got into trouble with the law but his videos were great for newbies like myself as could also be seen by the incredibly high number of YouTube views he got. Hello guys! I have a pretty big problem with my pmdg 777. The problem is when i am going to select a STAR into a airport for example when i is going in for a landing into EGLL and then i choose a star for example OCK2F and rwy 27L my waypoints just disappear and then i just CI27L no star at all just the CI27L and FI27L RW27L just into the rwy. And its not just at EGLL it is evrywhere, Please help

Greetings from the Caribbean to ALL. Thanks for the welcome. I have not been very active on Flight sims for a long time and recently jumped back in with the release of the Steam Edition of FSX. I also bought the PMDG 777 last week and have been learning the aircraft ever since. I will say, it was a bit overwhelming at first but with a lot of reading starting to understand a lot of the systems. I don't think I can ever fly a default plane again. The question that brought me to registering is quite simple, why isn't there a 'Un-official Eaglesoft Support Forum'? Just about every other dev house or provider is covered. Hi Everyone. I've used the site for a couple of years in the background, been a simmer since SubLogic made Flight Simulator on the Commodore 64. I used to fly Gliders in the late '80's and have tried out pretty much every version of MSFS and others. I currently have XPlane 10.35, Prepar3d v2.5 and FSX 2004 and X I am starting to learn to fly for my PPL and use A2A's Cessna 172 for that, and use PMDG 737 and 777 for Prepar3d. I also have access to a full scale 737 simulator which I occasionally use.
