Hi all Well I would like to say Hello again, After a Long illness I have just started to use Flight Simulator again, I started with FS 2000 and moved up untill I had to stop when FSX first came out, I am now flying VfR in a Barron 58 around Bristol and trying to pull out all I worked so hard to learn from what is left of my decreased gray matter. I have bought a new computer for my son and am trying to install his games, etc. so that it is ready for him when he opens it on Christmas morning. I have already installed FSX Deluxe Edition and then moved on to installing My Traffic X (which I bought in December 2010). However, I can't find a link to download it. I have the email from Sim Pilot store from when I purchased, but the link in the email is broken. When I searched for My Traffic X, I only get results for My Traffic 2013. Is there any way I can access the product that I paid for? I would assume I need the serial number for the product (which I have in my email), I just can't find a way to download it. A…

Hello Everyone! I'm hoping one of you can help me with a problem I am experiencing. (Mods please move if necessary). I recently started using the Aerosoft Airbus V1.21 and love it except one MAJOR issue. Reverse Thrust is SEVERELY DELAYED. On touch down I wont be able to deploy reverse thrust until nearly 60kts or less. I have tried searching the forums and google for an answer and I found only one link, but it doesn't take me to the link/ post on here that discusses it. I am using a Saitek X52 pro, which I have calibrated and functions properly with the ABX, reverse thrust even works if I am at taxi or idle, but even at taxi it is a good 5+ second…

G'day guys, My first time posting a comment so forgive me if this question has been done to death! I am a full size pilot in my spare time so I use FSX to help keep me current when I can't get down to the field. I had the following system built for maximum performance and graphics but am finding that although the result is phenomenal on games like crisis 2. There are a lot of messages aboud the HUD, but I can't find my question. What is the circle with the wings in the HUD en what can I do to get the second circle in the one with the wings. Those two circle work together but I don't no how it works and where the circle stands for. Especially on finals when the two circles are not in each other aiming on the the big white bars on the runway. kind regards Jeen

Hi, I have what I think is a simple question. Can I assign say 'Left Wiper to park' with a keyboard stroke of say 'CTRL+A' (or what ever) using FSUIC or LINDA? As best I can tell you can, but I cannot confirm this. Joystick button assignments gets mentioned a lot, but not keyboard. If yes, what other complex combinations are available? SHIFT+(keystroke) SHIFT+CTRL+(keystroke) etc. Thanks.

Hello avsimmers, I havnt been in the flight sim scene in about 3 years due to personal family issues, and the lack of a decent computer. Iwas previously on fs9 with a huge amounts of addons. Iam gonna be starting from scratch and after poking my head through the door it seems that a few things have changed. Main question iguess is im wondering what is the norm now a days in software choice between fsx or this new lockheed sim?..for someone who is starting over, should fsx be the platform tobuild off of or prpard3d? Dont want to start anything just looking for better way to start over with. Thanks

I'm looking to upgrade from my GTX560 to something with more horsepower to more closely match my CPU so I can get a better experience in FSX. See my signature for system specs. I currently run the latest FSX with all upgrades in DX10 mode. I use REX Overdrive (latest version) for my weather engine, REX 4 Texture Direct, ORBX sceneries, Carenado, Alabeo, IRIS and A2A add-on aircraft along with accu-feel. Also use the latest DX10 Fixer from Steve. Run on a single 24" wide screen monitor at 1920x1280 res - using an external frame rate limiter set to 30fps. Hi guys, Sorry if this has been asked before. I've recently ripped apart a xbox360 wired controller and decide to make a switch panel using all the circuitry involved in the controller, all is looking good. My plan is to start with Cessna 172 but how do can i program the switches. I havent got all my resistors yet, so i haven't started trying. I was thinking of FSUIPC but it appears not all of the switches ie (Beacon Land Taxi Nav Strobe Pitot & Fuel Pump) are listed. Is there any way i can do this (maybe LINDA)? Thanks

Hi all, I have recently decided to get back into flight simming having not flown for around 5 years. I was working my way through the FSX tutorials back then, but having read up on P3D decided to go down that route for the long term. Any advice on learning to fly? Again with the monitors refresh rate argument? That is the anthem of simmers who cannot get better than 30 fps so they cling to it as a way to feel better about their lack of performance. The reasoning behind it is so flawed its ridiculous...you are saying that if I made a street car that could travel at 1000 miles it would not interest the automobile community just because the speed limit is 60 mph? Also, if you don't think you can detect a difference between 30 fps and 300...then you have never seen 300 fps. Here is what it looks like...

Hi I'm a new member here and I'm currently just learning the ropes of FSX and once I get the hang of FSX, I'd like to start using xplane 10 as well. I'm currently setting up my equipment and I have all Saitek equipment (Yoke, rudder, throttle quadrants, multi panel, switch panel, 2 radio panels). I wanted to also get the Saitek LCD mini display panels but I don't feel like spending the $600+ for 6 lcd gauge panels. I've done some searching and I've seen people with a dedicated LCD monitor just for the instrument gauges. How is that done? I would like to state I'm pleased to be part of this community as it's multi-faceted as per the use of several sim formats not just one like others. I use FSX & x-plane both. on youtube I saw fantastic scenery with Budapest - City. Could give me anybody an advise, where to get that? Because on my FSX there even is no Danude-river... Is there any scenery, which shows Hungary more detalled?
