Hey all, two-time thread poster here! I'm currently new to the flight-sim world, so I have a lot to learn. I'm trying to figure out what flight simulator to purchase, how to run it on my machine, and what addons I should supplement the aforementioned flight sim with. My computer (laptop, rather), is pretty limited, relatively speaking of course. I'm currently using a mid-2012 Macbook Pro, and plan on running FSX (or another flight sim of choice) via Windows 7 64 bit, which I will use w/ Bootcamp. hey everyone, I'm new, from Australia. I fly FS9 because I haven't been sucessful in getting FSX to run on my computer smoothly. Might try again soon though. Anyway, I've just gotten into PMDG and am wanting to fly a simpler plane then the B747. I'm going well trying to learn the b747 but I'd like to try something simpler before continuing to try to learn. I'm very close to getting the b1900c but was looking at the 737. I know it's been discontinued but it's still available in the extended download. After having installed FSX for some time with reasonable outcomes, I have now install the PMDG 737NGX program and after some tweaking and following the instructions and some tutorials it worked fine on a single 24" screen. I actually have 3 screens installed and in multi-screen mode it is OK but I have to drag windows etc around each time I fly. In surround vision over 3 screens it operates but will not allow me to to move the view back far enough to see the panel and the view ahead so I have stuck with the simpler multi-screen mode for now. My real problem at the moment however, is that I have since installed EXdok and FSCoPilot and FS2CoPilot and now FSX crashes com…

Does anyone have info on Computer Pilot Magazine, I paid mine thru pay pal in October 2012 and can not find out why I never got any magazines.

I have just purchased a copy of X-Plane 10.. But have been flying FSX with a Logitech 3DPRO.Just realizing that both joy sticks are callibrated differently..(0r appear to be) Is it better to have a joy stick for each program or can they be made work together??? Unfortunately I am a newbie just learning computers as didn't start till late in life...

1st post on a forum - should say that I know just enough re: computers to get myself into real trouble, to whit: I have Windows 7 X 64 O/S and have installed FSX gold edition. when I went to install the acceleration disc, window popped up saying "setup failed to initialize". I had Acceleration installed once before, but due to my lack of knowledge managed to corrupt FSX and had to start over. I am trying to "uninstall" acceleration, have gone through the: Control panel/pgms & features\acceleration\uninstall. it did not completely uninstall it. then went through reg.edit\find, and deleted any references to acceleration, or fsx acceleration. that evidentl…

Hi all, As topic title reveals, I'm a long time FS9 user and like to set up a Linux based X-Plane simulator. In real life I'm a 3D CAD designer with some 'autodidact engineer skills' and I'm building a full scale airplane equipped with a fresh designed new engine. I was an avid panel and scenery designer in the 90's and the deaths of my father and then my brother had changed my life priorities that pushed me into another direction. Good Day all , I have a real 64 185 cessna and have not flown for a while , I was looking for a good simulator to practice procedures and instrument flying before getting back behind the wheel, Also with the price of fuel I would like to be able to supplement my Real life practice. I have an old CH usb yoke from way back in 2000 or so .
