hello guys, its been a year since i purchased this beauty but it is beastly to fly. its not the handling but the enormous amount of fms programming to be done. so could any tell me in a nutshell how to fly IFR using the fmc.

Hello guys can some body help I have a issue with my NGX B737-800 on P3D when I export my flight from PFPX to P3D everything goes true but when I check on my FMC it saids the my AIRAC is out of date but is not true because i have the accurate AIRAC 1504 cycle and I can't load my flight plan on my FMC I hope somebody can help me thank you. all my flight plan get saved on my rte without any problem I don't know if I need to uninstall my PMDG B737-800 & 900 from my P3D or I need to do something else in order to fix it. Hello to everyone, I bought the PMDG 777 on 08 february 2015 on the site http://www.precisionmanuals.com/index.html I have only Flight Simulator X Steam Edition on my computer. I never had any other version of Flight Simulator on my computer. When I install the PMDG 777 installation goes well. But when I go to Flight Simulator and I select the PMDG 777 nothing is clickable in the Cockpit! And when I put the view outside the aircraft's wheels are not displayed I am surprised that during and even after the PMDG 777 installation does not ask me my activation code that is normal? Definitely seems to run better maxed out with all the addons/eye candy but also a steeper learning curve to getting it looking good!

Hello, I am Jaap from the Netherlands. When I was busy with my pilot license (PPL) I bought a computer, saitek Yoke, Rudder and some goflight stuff. I imagined that practicing some flying at home, behind my computer, should be useful in reducing my needed flying lessons. In the end it took some time to get started, and I finished my PPL before everything was running properly. Hi All, I'm Marcus from the UK. I used to Fly FS years ago, but as I wasn't very good I stopped after a short time. I wanted to get back into it about a year ago as I spent a lot of time watching Youtube and found ILS landing which seem to fix my main issue with FS (I.e I could not land a plane if my life depended on it). Problem was I could not find a copy of FS for sale anywhere apart from Ebay and for the age of the game the price seemed a bit steep. Hi I have uninstalled FSX from Control Panel, however in the main FSX directory in Program Files(x86) the only folder left is fonts... The 4 fonts are: arialnb arialnbi glassga quartz When I try to delete them its says the file is open in system, close the file and try again. I have already made sure I have full control over the files in properties and I have also rebooted in safe mode. Thanks

hello guys, i hv the pmdg 747 for fs2004 , and am planning to decide on whether to buy the pmdg 777 or captain sim 777. After my experience with pmdg 747 , where i could not even start the plane , let alone program a flightplan , i had a few questions below: 1 can d default fs2004 flightpln be loaded onto the pmdg 747 2 whether d above function is possible with the pmdg 777 or captain sim 777 becuz in d qwalitywings 757 we hv a lite and standard mode of panels . hence, any advice or tricks would b appreciated . cheers, swapnil

Hey Folks, greetings from Germany! Just read PMDG released its latest service pack 1d for 737 NGX owners. Can anyone tell me how to download it? The PMDG main Page says that its located in the PMDG EStore under "View Previous Orders". However, since i've bought the 737 via Amazon, the previous-orders section is empty. I've also noticed there are no more addon- liveries available - the download page only says: Attention PMDG 737NGX & 777 customers: Liveries are downloaded and installed with the PMDG Operations Center app located in your Start Menu at PMDG Simulations/PMDG Operations Center. New guy here, and looking forward to learning and contributing to the AVSIM community. I have had FSX for several years but it was running on an old system. Recently built myself a new system with decent specs, good video card running a 4 monitor setup. I was using one monitor for the instrument cluster, and three for the main view. Just recieved my TrackIR and in the process of setting it up. It really is amazing how much more it adds to the whole experience. Now my question, and I know it will be subjective but is there an advantage to running a single larger monitor with the TrackIR as opposed to a three monitor setup? Thanks in advance! George

Hello AVSIM users, this is my first post, hooray for me! Anyway, I had performed a 3 hr flight from Dubai to Cairo with PMDG 777. (Default scenery) I got around 30fps with the wing view and started off with 15 fps when loading up the cockpit, taking only mere seconds to go up to 25-30fps. Later that day, I went back on and the whole game dropped from 30fps (average) to 7fps or lower, nothing changed and I have tried deleting the fsx.cfg and tried the uiautomationcore.dll deletion, but to no avail. I am currently defragging the hard disk and I believe it will not work. Also I can't replace the hardware in my FS computer as it is a Macbook. Here are the specs: Macboo…

Hi Friends, I am new to Avsim. I have become a fan of PMDG aircrafts and I am planning to buy one soon. But my problem is that I am very confused as to which one should I zero on. Hey! Just joined the forum. I have lloved aviation since a kid. I flew as a right-seater on OV-1D Mohawks and RC-12's. Then started jumping out of them and liked that also. I am retired now and want to build my own flight sim. I am going to purchase mostly Saitek equipment and use Xplanes for the software. I was going to use 3 27" monitors and enclose the cockpit. I bought northern California from orbx and in big cities in the bay area with add on aircraft from qualitywings and alabeo, my fps drop from 30 locked to fluctuating from 20-24. is this normal?. this doesn't happen in regular ftx global big cities. my 4790k is overclocked to 4.5ghz at 1.325, I got a gtx 660, no cfg tweaks and NVidia inspector set at the recommended settings. my autogen is at extremely dense/dense. all traffic 16. water low2x. that's pretty much it. let me know your opinions and any tweaks you think I need

Hi After many years without FSX I thought I was ready to come back?? things change very fast these days and I did not give the make of my GPU much thought .I had read that ATI was not recomended for FSX win7 64 Bit So this silly old fella bought :excl: AMD :blush: and I think I am paying the Price Should I sell it and get a nVidia and loose 250pounds or is there now a way ATI will work with FSX.The real problem is on landing be it over a UK airport or on a lake in the centre of Australia the grafics go haywire and I loose all sight outside the cockpit just big flashes of coloured blocks and streaks.
