Hi, I am looking for a web site or app when I can show airports, a flight plan and weather overlays (including clouds). Basically I am hoping to have a one stop flight planner. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, I am new here and have a question regarding this routing that I was provided via simbrief. There was no STAR provided in the initial routing which is fine but I guess my question is, how would the final leg of this flight work, typically. Below is the route that was provided: KMIA/26L N0454F380 MAYNR2 CANOA UB879 CUN DCT MMUN/12R I use Pilot2ATC as my means of communicating with ATC. I feel like I completely botched this arrival given that no STAR was provided and was not told by the ATC program to descend until I crossed over the CUN VOR. If I recall correctly, the program approved me via the ILS approach via the CUN transition. In this situat…

P2Atc I cannot get the nav route to present in my navigation display so I have no route to follow. Help. Audio from P2A ie ATC com and a clearance is available after transfer via send button. I’ve spent 5 days and still can’t find what my error in the install must be. No tech support is in my mind, word not allowed pore way to do business. I love the idea of this program but if I can’t get it operate properly I’ll just save my money.

  6. Very good, I have a small doubt; as far as I have been able to find out, the VFR departures in controlled airports are based on the navigation charts, there you can find the departure and arrival points. But what about the uncontrolled airports? Searching I found 2 options, I don't know if both are valid or only one. The first option is to follow the typical traffic circuit like the one in the picture. The second one is like the one in the picture, which consists of always crossing the runway in the middle. Now let's suppose that my route goes to the yellow point, (if the first option is valid) which pattern is the correct one. …

I tried to post over on the "official?" PFPX support forum at Aerosoft Forums but could not find a way to select the PFPX support sub forum to make the post. So, without further ado, I shall post here hoping to find a solution. I'm planning a flight from KATL to EGLL and want to use one of the latest NAT tracks, which SIMBRIEF suggested. I prefer final planning with PFPX because it has better fuel burn algorithms that to me are way more accurate. When I try to add an online NAT Track, it will show up in the proper NAT track window in PFPX (bottom right menu line), but disappears after a couple of seconds. Not sure how to manually add NATS as the example I went…

Good day all I got the strangest of problems that popped up doing a flight today So i did a flight from KSFO-YMML on the PMDG 777-300er My trip distance was supposed to be 7,858 miles based on the flight plan i got but when i entered it into the FMC i get a distance of 6,957, that is about a 900 mile difference and i am real confused I did the math adding up the legs and the 6,957 number was right here is the flight plan i used GNNRR3 CINNY DCT 30N129W DCT 25N132W DCT 21N135W DCT 16N140W DCT 08N150W DCT 00N160W DCT WOOBY B581 NN DCT TANIL A579 UPSAD DCT ABARB DCT RIKNI DCT OMLAV Q15 WOL H65 RAZZI Q29 LIZZI DCT …

  10. Hi pilots, today was a good day for a nice VOR flight over the George Washington National Forest. In the mountains the weather conditions worsened quickly, it got a lot colder with some turbulence, but nothing to worry about in the cozy well-heated IFR Black Square Bonanza. The flight was good - until I found out after the flight planning the VOR I had selected for route (shown here in little Navmap, RNL-VOR) does not exist in the sim! After the VOR could still not be received in under 20nm distance I switched to a Garmin with screen, and this VOR is also not even listed in the Garmin 530: Is it poss…

  12. Q: So it seems VNCs and VTC's only show navaids for aerodromes, which if thats the case, Im stuck. Help please. ***** Context: Hello AVSim community, Im coming back after some years away from flight simming. I am learning new tools and new platforms etc. I apologise in advance but in getting up to speed with the new platforms and the latest software Im hopelessly confused and befuddled. Hehe please help out this beginner :) I am currently on MSFS 2020 using Navigraph Charts and SimBrfief. My overall objective was to: 1. Do a small single prop GA flight plan where I find a shorter takeoff runway length preferably unsealed 2. Have some sort of navigation…

Hi, Is there any website that shows which gate a flight depart from and arrived to (historical data obviously)? I couldn't find this on FlightAware nor in FR24, at least not that i found. I did find that flightstats.com has partial information that sometimes shows the gate(s) but many times it is blank. I want this information to plan (when flying offline) for my flight planning to try and simulate the departure and arrival gates as well.

  16. Hi, I was wondering if there was a tool out there that can be used to validate flight plans that cover AsiaPac to North America for the northerly routes? E.g. something similar to Eurocontrol's IFPS web tool? I am planning a flight from RJCC to PANC and have two proposed routes: a) one following the most northerly T565/T564 routing b) and another in which I depart from RJCC and initially head SE to the POXED waypoint to pick up the eastbound NOPAC route A590. From a routing, winds, time (only 2 mins saving) fuel saving (215kg) perspective today, the northerly route (a) appears the best option, but wondered if this was a validated ro…

  17. Hello, I would like to ask what the correct behaviour is in MSFS when there is no valid arrival procedure starting from the last waypoint of the route given from Simbrief. As an example I take LIME-EDDS with the A320NEO I plan my flight in Simbrief ( I have Navigraph subsciription) and import the flight plan in MSFS in the world map. I actually also use FSHUD and FSLTL but this is not really relevant for this question. I start the flight with all procedures and get the SID for the takeoff and insert it into the MCDU. My flight proceeds until I get the confirmation and instructions from EDDS for Landing (ILS RWY 25). The route initia…

Hi, First post and excuse me if this is user error. I plan an IFR route in Navigraph/Simbrief and replicate it in MSFS flight planner. When I go to the cockpit view, I import it in the G1000 but I am unable to switch from LOC 1 to GPS. The CDI softkey doesn't function. If I don't put the route in to MSFS it works fine. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, I'm a new user to little navmap. Just trying a simple zoom on an area of the map gives me a strange image which is hard to describe. So I'll include a link to a screen shot the insert image from URL did not work. https://drive.google.com/file/d/14JVw2GxrpUMLjFrWBwkJs1Cua_1BAHVx/view?usp=drive_link The image presented is just one mouse wheel click past a certain point on the map. In my case the UK. Any assistance is very much appreciated

Hello all! I have been simming since the very first sim Bruce Artwick's Flight Simulator for the Commodore and Atari. Ever since the newer sims came out with flight planning, ACARs and weather programs, I have noticed generally the databases do not match for airports ICAO. This is more prevalent in out of the way airports I like to fly into in bush country and seaplane base, but also frequently in others. Why is it that sims, weather programs and ACARs can not use the same database? There is a website out there where you can download all the airports in the world and yet it seems they all use their own from somewhere instead (See Open data @ OurAirports"). Apparently, thi…

Until yesterday, I used to be able to create a flight plan in SimBrief, asides from PFPX. And I used to be able to use the SlimBrief Downloader to export such a created flight plan to the various FMC/FMS of the aircraft in the sim. All of a sudden, went to export a plan for the FSL aircraft, and it is no longer available to export to the FSL/Routes in the format to load it in the MCDU. Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm using simbrief and it's giving me ECHHO2 SLI. But could someone give me a complete route including SID/STAR. I am flying offline without ATC and with clear weather, so runway doesnt matter. I just want a good straightforward route to test out in my Fenix A320. I would like to land in KLAX on runway 24L, but not sure which STAR and APPROACH to use.
