FS2CREW: PMDG 777

hello like the title say the eicas message stays on the entire flight with the message "efis control pnl r" did i missed something setting up in the fmc ? sincerely problem solved has nothing to do with fs2crew just in the main menu of the fmc efis and dsp ctl must be set OFF cheers

Why would FS2Crew Airbus have really nice radio chatter through out the flight while FS2Crew for the PMDG 777 does not. Also the Airbus crew sounds more realistic while the 777 crew sounds robotic. It would be nice to have the background radio chatter for the 777. regards Doug

I have used Fs2Crew for a number of years with various aircraft, and think I have the hang of it but I am stumped at the moment. I downloaded the new PMDG 777 installer, and installed it into FSXSE without issue. I also installed the 1.2 version of Fs2Crew 777. I read through the manual and everything seems to be set up and installed properly, but when I start FSXSE, the 777 and then Fs2Crew I can work my way through the procedure OK, the green bar indicates what I am saying correctly and FA responds to my "yes" about starting the boarding.....but when I call for any checklist there is absolutely no response. In the Ident the Nav Data shows AIRAC-1502 FEB05MAR04/15 which is the most current data yet the FMC says its out of date. What else needs to be updated ? Frank Zych

While using the U.S. crew on the Fs2Crew - 777 button version, latest download 1.3, I hear the pilot say twice "Before takeoff checklist, please" ... "Before takeoff checklist, please". Is this correct?

I was using FS2Crew for the first time last night and notice that if I end a flight and go back to the main menu, FS2Crew no longer works. I must close the applications and reload again. is there a workaround for this inconvenient ? I am still learning FS2crew and I made a few mistake so I wanted to start again the procedures.

During approach on every flight, the FO (US voice, if that makes a difference), skips from Flaps 5 to gear down and then Flaps 20. Is this intentional? Is their some way to get her to first step to Flaps 15? I am a new user so I am probably missing some setting, but after going through the manual, the configuration settings, and this forum, I have not yet been able to find a solution. Thanks, Andrew J

Just install 1.2 for Fs2crew,,,today i choose to trun the packs off for takeoff,,but after takeoff he not turn on packs again ? bug or what?

Hi all, just a minor issue. Uploaded v1.3 this arvo which fixed the sound issue most experienced with 1.2. Did a Vatsim flight tonight with ATC active and found the "Swap Comm" command activated the FO response but did not actually switch frequencies. I observed the frequency attempting to switch but ultimately no swap occurred. While not a show stopper, this is a convenient feature when flying online, particularly around a TMA with lots of controllers. Maybe something for the next release. Hi everyone. I can't upload FS2crew 1.1 to the newest version (i'd try 1.2 and 1.3 today) The downloaded file is unable to start, i've tried 3 times already, and everytime when i want to unzip the file, it give a "temporary file" (.tmp) The file come from my account on FS2crew, i dit not buy it via a 3rd party vendor, and i'd try 3 times already. The fact is this operation cost each time 1 "remaining available download" on Fs2crew account, so i won't try 10 times for nothing. PS : No problem like this with the original version download Is anybody can help me please ? Thanks.

Hey team, happy new year! Started to face an issue recently, where the FO would suddenly stop speaking. He would although act upon my requests, however not say a word. The fsx volume is normal and no issues three. I did try the audio tests and could not hear anything. This happens sometimes before giving the welcome speech and sometimes before attempting checklists. I have checked the FO volume and that is at 9 and also have tried pressing HS button, but it does not help either. Checked the Cfg and it shows my correct audio source as xonar u7.Iam using a analog headset. Would wonder what the issue could be. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Bryan, I'm pleased to say that so far v1.2 works well indeed. One minor issue, is that whilst I'm pleased to report that the FO will engage his EFIS Terrain as per the Dep Brief, but he never dis-engages it for the entire flight. I gather there is a point whereby the FO would disengage the Terrain radar in rw ops. Is there a voice prompt you can program for v1.3 whereby we can instruct the FO to disengage terrain, weather, or any other EFIS gauge on his side? It might be difficult to set parameters for the FO to disengage automatically due to airport terrain, elevation, transition, etc - so I figure being able to voice command him may be the most su…

You kindly granted my request for the various voice control measures for "DISPLAY CHKL" etc. Can you also create a "DISPLAY CLEAR" - that way we can have the FO clear the display completely. 2. Can we have the FO update the Altimeter scale on the ground at the gate (with engines running) - nb: I usually fly the 777 with default PMDG engines running at gate at start up. 3. Hi Bryan, I haven't flown the 777 for a while so I also hadn't used FS2crew for the 777. I updated the 777 with the latest for FSX and also updated F2Crew to v1.1. When I try to activate FS2Crew I get a FS2Crew disabled window as a response. I've uninstalled v1.1 and reinstalled with no effect. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you are experiencing sound problems with the new V1.2 update, please do this: Note: Please keep any sound questions in this single thread to keep things organized. 1. Disable UAC (USER ACCOUNT CONTROL) fully if you have not already done so. 2. Make sure FSX with run with Admin rights. Right click on the FSX.EXE and select 'Run this program as an Administrator'. 3. Some problem with fs2crew after PMDG released the new service pack....after FO has going trough Electrical startup and he says he is ready for pre flight checks,all doors in PMDG get stuckt,,cant close it or open it...

Attention: PMDG has released a new update for the PMDG 777. If you install the update, the PMDG 777's panel.cfg file will be restored to its original pre-FS2Crew state. This means FS2Crew will no longer load when you load the 777. What you need to do: Run the FS2Crew 777 Config Manager again, and click the "ENABLE FS2CREW" button. That will re-add FS2Crew to the 777's panel.cfg file. Note, we still do not support FSX Steam. Steam support will come in V1.2.

Hi, For the first with the T7 and Fs2crew, I add to abort takeoff due to a loss of thrust on one engine. So I spoke "stop" and the bar displayed "clean up". Once the runway vacated, I spoke "ok to clean up" and so did the FO. But after that, I spoke "let's taxi back to the runway" and there something went wrong as the bar displayed "Stop" in orange and stuck there. I tried all the possible commands but nothing changed and I had to save the flight, quit fsx and restart again. I obviously did something wrong or missed something... but what? What is the correct sequence for a RTO followed by a taxi back to the runway? Thanks for your help.

Brian, I am starting to fly more and more frequently with this great combination PMDG777 and FS2Crew voice. Great job..! A couple of questions: 1. When arriving at the gate and shutting engines down, it looks like power to FO CDU is cut off, as the CDU goes completely black...and, yes, I have checked that either APU GEN or EXT PWR are online before shutting the engines down. 2. During the shutdown checklist, after replying "Set" to the FO calling for Parking Brake, he immediately says again "I am ready for the checklist". Brian, I have a question...not sure it is an issue: I have noticed that the FO EFIS Control Panel VOR/ADF selectors are not operated by the FO. I can't find it mentioned in the Normal Procedures that they must be operated by the CPT, and due to their location I would assume that they must be operated by the FO, so I was thinking that this might have been overlooked by the FS2Crew logic.
