FS2CREW: PMDG 777

Hi Bryan, I would like to request in a future FS2Crew update (as well as for all future FS2Crew panels), to please reset the CFG scroll menu (back to the beginning) when we close the FS2Crew panel; either by button assignment or by the mouse control in the upper right corner of the panel. It has become a nuisance to change the voices (US, UK, EUR, etc.) at the beginning of the CFG (scroll) options, and have to keep clicking CFG until your back at the beginning (which is very easily missed if you're punching the CFG button too fast). Hi guys Got a question, i have the 737 ngx and to open the menu is to click inside the cocpit and there it is. Now in the 777 when in click there nothing happens. When i press te main button ( the FO) also nothing happens. I run it as admin and when i go to the views menu i can open the main menu fs2 crew. Can anyone help me can't find the problem Thanks

I've had this issue since using the PMDG 777 updated to the latest C patches with a fresh install of FSX with DX10. The background panel area lighting of the captain and first officer chronometers are brighter than the rest of the panel. I've adjusted the lighting via all the various cockpit controls with no avail. It seems to only happen with the digital version of the chronometers and not the old standard units. I've uninstalled FS2crew and it seems to me that FS2crew is the culprit. Anyone else with this issue or know of a fix? Thanks.

English version, female voice, when calling for "gear up", she says what I think is "geared up". Is this correct?

Hi Bryan, Isn't it possible to perform touch and goes with the 777, as it was with the 737? Could you possibly add that option in v 1,2? Thanks.

Hi Bryan In the briefing panel, when the minimums knob is set to BARO i can set the Minimums to 100s, 10s, and 1s, but when it is set to RADIO, i can set 100s and 10s, i cannot set 1s.

What does this "map" option refer to? I have searched all the forums and manuals and can't find it. Getting old I guess! Jeff Even

Bryan, in the 737 you can call the flight attendant through a button on the overhead panel and that is reflected in FS2Crew for the 737 NGX, when you push that button you hear the FA voice replying. In the 777 do you confirm that you can call the FA just with the handset in the pedestal, so no way for FS2Crew to intercept a button push instead of having to push the button on the FS2Crew main panel? Hey there, does "Set xxx (point/dezimal) on standby com 1" really work? I've trained my speech recognition, but the FO always changes the active frequency. In the upper left corner I can see that the computer seems not to understand the word "standby". Using speech recognition with a word document works properly. Sincerly, Chrisitan Schulz

Hi, I hope this has not been discussed already or I missed it. During the before takeoff checklist, I can't get the flaps challenge to work. As per manual, I answer flaps XX to the flaps challenge but the FO replies with the same flaps level and doesn't complete the checklist. Is the real answer to the flaps challenge "flaps XX" as written in the manual? I tried also "flaps XX, XX set" but with no avail. The only way to complete the checklist is to say Set and checked after the flaps challenge. Thanks for the help. I forgot to say I'm using the v1.1.

I have uploaded the captains only flows and checklists for the PMDG777. This is geared primarily to Voice Control, although should work equally well for button control. I have based these checklists and flows on the Q400 list from another user as these allow for you to use up only half a screen on a second computer so you have space for charts, etc. Please PM me if you find any mistakes that need correcting. Hey, according to the manual, using voice we should be able to command "set xxx.xx on standby comm 1" and then later "swap comm 1", as in the NGX. However I cannot seem to do so, the FO doesn't understand "standby", and neither does he understand "swap comm1". The only thing that seems to work is "set xxx.xx on comm1", which sets comm1 directly without using the standy frequency. Is this a bug or is this due to my system (works perfectly with the NGX) ? I know that this is probably not a big deal to 99.9% of the 777 FS2Crew users but I noticed that the flight details such as flight number and distance to destination is not available on the live map. I don't know if this is a planned feature that is not yet implemented or a limitation of the simulation but I really enjoy using live map on a second screen to keep tack of my flight. Most of the times it is not a big issue but there are time when leaving big air ports or on certain routes where there is a lot of traffic and it would be nice to track my flight number. Just wondering.

hi. i recently installed fs2 crew v1.1 and have an issue that makes the main panel unreadable. when i try to drag the panel up to the top of my screen just under the menu bar, it becomes all distorted and kind of stretched, although it works fine if i keep it a couple of inches lower. however that places it in my line of sight which is not ideal. i recently did a complete windows 7 repair install, saving all my fsx folders to an external drive. i am also having issues with the T7 and ngx with the fonts not showing in the green initialization bar during countdown and have already submitted a ticket to pmdg on this. i just wonder if the two issues may be related. an…

Hi Bryan, I was wondering if you could make some adjustments since you're working on a V1.2. 1. When you select in the briefing panel if anti ice is required, could you let the FO say during the before taxi checklist item ANTI ICE. So he would say "ANTI ICE....ENGINE ANTI ICE ON or ENGINE AND WING ANTI ICE ON" instead of always saying ANTI ICE...AUTO regardless of the selection. 2. I dont know how difficult this one is, but when you command him to "leave the flaps up for taxi" after the required time passes he says "CABIN IS READY", then later on when you call for the takeoff flaps, and the CABIN READY is displayed on the EICAS he doesn't respond. Hi Bryan, Thanks for your excellent and fast update to v1.1, really appreciated. Works fine for me, as far as I could see last night during a short test. (unfortunately I don't have much time to fly at the moment :unsure: ). But what I did realize is that FS2Crew is not compatible with FSiPanel. The first flight works fine - any consecutive loading of the plane leads to the SDK error. I know that FS2Crew does not like the reloading of flight situations, and although my hopes are slim - I would like to ask if there is anything that could be done about this? Hello In 737 NGX you have de ice check like ENG bleed off and you can speak and say,de ice cordinator we are ready for de-iceing,and befor you enter de ice platform you can speak Prepare for de ice,why haven"t 777 this :( ?

Hi Im not sure if its only me or if its something to do from my end. Version 1.1 firstly seems to be really good, although two things i came across with two transatlantic flights i did 1. Before taxi i used the phrase "Clear Left" this should trigger the FO to turn on the Runway Turn Off Lights and Taxi Lights but this did not happen?FO did not do anything 2. Running the Approach brief did not trigger the FO to perform his actions (select vfred, auto break etc) and i manually had to do it. Am i doing something wrong or is there any setting i have not enabled? Thanks & Regards
