	I would like to download FS2Crew for the 777 via the Legacy site, but unfortunately the download has expired. Could you kindly reset it for me without me having to buy the complete Access Pack for 100 euros? I already have most of it.

	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I can deactivate the ADF receivers in the aircraft-specific options but that doesn't make them disappear on the exterior model (the two little humps on top of the fuselage roughly in the middle). They should be removed if no ADF is equipped. You can check on many photos that they are not there, like here: https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1493777/a6-eqe-emirates-boeing-777-31her

<p>
	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I want to inquire about an effect that has long been existing in FS2Crew for the 777, at least for the last two years and already in P3Dv4: When you use ECL, once you call for the preflight checklist and it is opened by FS2Crew in the popup, it is not possible to change the left screen (normally ND for the Pilot) anymore. So e.g. it is not possible to show the Flight controls page in the left screen for the check before taxi.
</p>

<p>
	Of course it's not the end of the world but I wanted to ask if this is a know issue? I guess it is connected to FS2Crew calling the popup and filling out the ECL.
</p>

<p>
	Best regards
</p>

<p>
	When using the FS2Crew in the PMDG 777, the first officer is a female. But I do not want the female voice. I want the fist officer to be a male. I know about the Config in the FS2Crew menu but that does not change the person's voice from female to male. It only changes the accent of the voice. How do I change the first officer's voice from Female to male in FS2Crew?

	<span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>FS2Crew 777 Help, Troubleshooting, FAQs:</strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	Please see the FS2Crew Trouble Shooting section at this link:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=troubleshooting5" rel="external nofollow">http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=troubleshooting5</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Summary of most common problems:</strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  During the install, I received an error message related to the Options Ini file.</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	You have a write permission issue or you never ran the 777 at least once before installing FS2Crew.  The PMDG 777 Options.ini file is missing.
</p>

<p>
	Run FSX/P3D with Admin rights.  Right click on the FSX/P3D.exe file in your main FSX/P3D folder and select "<strong>Always run as an administrator</strong>" in the Compatibility tab.
</p>

<p>
	Then run the PMDG 777 one time and exit FS.  That will create the 777 Options.ini file.
</p>

<p>
	Then re-install FS2Crew 777
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I can't open the downloaded zip file.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Your download is corrupt.  It probably timed out.  Try downloading again later.  The file on the FS2Crew server is not corrupt.  The internet can sometimes be unstable, especially if you are in a remote location. If push comes to shove, try downloading from a different location, and saving the file to a thumb drive.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  Soft Mute Doesn't Stay On when I press my Joystick Button</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	In the FSX Controls menu, make sure the "<u>Repeat</u>" slider for the associated event is set to full (full right).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I assigned a button to open the FS2Crew Main Panel, and nothing happened.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	1. Did you 'enable' FS2Crew via the FS2Crew 777 Config Manager?
</p>

<p>
	2. If so, are you running FSX with Admin rights?  If not, Windows may be '<u>blocking</u>' the FS2Crew Config Manager from updating the 777's panel.cfg file with the FS2Crew entries.
</p>

<p>
	3. If your 777 panel.cfg has FS2Crew entries on (<em>you can open the 777 panel.cfg file with Notepad to check</em>), then re-assign the FS2Crew open main panel button to a different key as you may have a conflict.  I use the "N" key personally.
</p>

<p>
	4. You can also test if FS2Crew is on your panel.cfg file by opening the FS2Crew Main Panel via the 'Views -&gt; Instrument Panels' option in the FSX menu.
</p>

<p>
	5. Did you even assign the right button?  It's this one:
</p>

<p>
	<a href="http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=opening_and_closing_the_main_panel5" rel="external nofollow">http://www.support.fs2crew.com/help/manuals/#pageid=opening_and_closing_the_main_panel5</a>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I'm getting an SDK error message.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	See the Trouble Shooting section in the on-line manual for detailed info.
</p>

<p>
	This is usually the result of not having the ultralight/trike as the default aircraft.  <span style="color:#b22222;">NEVER USED SAVED SITUATION FLIGHTS!</span>  Even PMDG recommends against them.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  FSPassengers doesn't work.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	The 777 has the same problem as the NGX I'm afraid with FSPassengers.
</p>

<p>
	Please send us a Support Ticket with your Order #.  We'll send you a modified panel.cfg file.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I can't close the FS2Crew Main Panel.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Press the <strong>LK</strong> button on the FS2Crew Main Panel to unlock it.  The panels are 'locked' open by default because otherwise they will automatically close anytime you change cameras.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  Where did the FS2Crew Config Panel go?</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Press the <strong>CFG</strong> button on the FS2Crew Main panel to cycle through all the various Config Options.  The Config Options are now built directly into the Main Panel display.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I'm getting no Audio.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	1. Re-install FS2Crew.  <u>DO NOT CLICK CANCEL DURING THE INSTALL</u>!!!
</p>

<p>
	2. Reboot your computer.
</p>

<p>
	3. When you re-install, make sure no programs are running in the background.
</p>

<p>
	4. If you want to use a headset, select the headset audio device on the CFG sub-screen (FS2Crew Main Panel - CFG button), then press <strong>HS</strong> on the FS2Crew Main Panel.
</p>

<p>
	5. Update your Audio drivers.
</p>

<p>
	6. Send us a Support Ticket via: www.fs2crew.com
</p>

<p>
	7. Ensure your USB devices aren't going "to sleep".
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem:  I'm using P3D V4 and I'm having major voice recognition problems.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	1.Check your "Voice Capture" device in the P3D V4 audio options menu.  It can interfere.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problem: In P3D V4, the FS2Crew window expands when I cycle between full screen and windowed mode.</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Solution:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Open the 777 panel.cfg file with Notepad.
</p>

<p>
	It's located here:
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-200LR\panel\panel.cfg</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Scroll down to "Window 20".
</p>

<p>
	<u>Delete this line:</u>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Sizeable=0</strong>
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	You can do that for any other FS2Crew windows.

<p>
	In the FS2Crew Manual for the PMDG 777 it notes the voice command to change the COMM 1 or 2 frequency as follows: "SET XXX (POINT/ DECIMAL) ON (STANDBY) COMM ( 1 / 2)"  This voice command does not work for me at all.  I tried guessing at alternatives and found that "SET XXX (POINT) on Frequency 1" did something but only on the FO side and inconsistently at that.
</p>

<p>
	Could somebody please explain, if you know, what the proper voice command sequence(s) is/are to fully control the radios by voice.

	Not 100% sure about this, but I think when the FO is configured to connect the GPU as part of the preliminary flight procedure, it connects the air start unit instead. I don't touch anything, just let the preflight events run, and I am left with an aircraft with no GPU but with the air start unit connected, otherwise correctly configured.

	It seems that FS2Crew changes the view during the descent flow on the CDU in the MENU view.<br />
	The 2nd line on the left side of the CDU "DSP CTL" OFF/ON disappears and on the Upper CTR DU the display DISPLAY SELECT PNL appears in yellow letters.<br />

	After that, the display of the different DUs can no longer be changed via the display panel and I have not yet found a way to undo this change during the flight.

<p>
	<span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>VERSION 1.1</strong></span>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>NOV 21 2014</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<strong>FIXED:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		US Accent Gate Agent re-recorded as the current version sounded a bit echoey.
	</li>
	<li>
		Keyboard/Joystick assignment for Hard Mute.
	</li>
	<li>
		FO turns off Dome Light properly during Before Start flow if flying at night.
	</li>
	<li>
		If ASDEX (ground radar selected) on the Brief Panel, FO will now set the Xponder to TARA during his Before Start Flow.  (TARA is not a mistake.  In fact, Cathay, for example, leaves their Xponder in TARA all the time).
	</li>
	<li>
		Go Around procedures fixed.  (In Voice Control, you can now also all for a Go Around prior to completing the Landing Checklist.)
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>CLEARED / LANDING /NOT CLEARED</strong> voice calls will now work prior to the Landing Checklist being completed.
	</li>
	<li>
		FO will reset his Chronometer during his shutdown flow.
	</li>
	<li>
		Foreign language translations in Ops Manual for opening and closing the Main Panel key/joystick assignments corrected.
	</li>
	<li>
		FO will no longer respond to voice commands when he's out on the walkaround.
	</li>
	<li>
		If you reply "SET AND CHECKED" during the Approach Checklist for the Altimeters challenge, the Descent Checklist should no longer play.
	</li>
	<li>
		The "TRANSITION ALTITUDE STANDARD SET" voice call will now work prior to the flaps being fully up.  This is useful at airports with very low Transition Altitudes.
	</li>
	<li>
		Thru-Flights Pre-Flight Events reset for Button Control
	</li>
	<li>
		The crew will no longer read back the first 0 (for example, in 0998 HPA) during Altimeter Setting checks.  In this case, the crew would simply say 998.
	</li>
	<li>
		The Descent Checklist will now accept "Minimums" values to an extra place.  Example: "<strong>MINIMUMS ONE ZERO ZERO ONE FEET</strong>".
	</li>
	<li>
		FO will turn on landing lights (should they have been turned off during the After Takeoff flow) after a Go Around on a 2nd approach after you call for gear down.
	</li>
	<li>
		Fixed a typo in the installer that referred to the Majestic Dash 8 instead of the PMDG 777 if the PMDG 777 host aircraft was not installed correctly.
	</li>
</ul>
<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>NEW FEATURES:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		Right/Left clicking in the black rectangular box on the Brief Page in the DA/DH section will increase/decrease the DA/DH by 100 feet.
	</li>
	<li>
		At the end of the FO's preflight flow, the FO will say he's 'Ready for the Checklist'.
	</li>
	<li>
		PA panel now directly connected to the PA mic button on the 777's audio panel.
	</li>
	<li>
		New button to force the ECL pop-up closed if for some reason it does not close.   To use, right-click the current HELP button on the Main Panel.
	</li>
	<li>
		New Cold Weather procedures:  During  the Before Taxi procedure, speak: "<strong>LEAVE THE FLAPS UP FOR TAXI</strong>" when you would usually call for the takeoff flaps.  Call for the Takeoff Flap prior to running the Before Takeoff Checklist.
	</li>
	<li>
		New speech grammar to accommodate Virgin SOPs: "<strong>STABLE, MISSED APPROACH ALTITUDE SET</strong>".
	</li>
	<li>
		During the FO's shutdown flow, the FO will reset the Transponder to 2000, and set the MCP Heading to 360, Altitude to 10000 and Speed to 250.
	</li>
	<li>
		FO's shutdown flow time drastically reduced based on feedback from a 777 Cathay Pacific pilot.

	<li>
		Takeoff flap setting in the Before Taxi now determined by your Voice Command, rather than the takeoff flap setting selected on the Brief Panel.

	<li>
		Button Control: Transition Altitude selection available prior to Flaps up.
	</li>
	<li>
		A few 'coughing' sounds to help give the impression a human (the FO) is beside you during the flight.
	</li>

<p>
	<strong>NEW CFG OPTIONS:</strong>
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		Option to not run the Weather Test since the PMDG 777 has a bug with the Weather Test that can produce a CTD under rare circumstances.
	</li>

	I have voice control activated when opening FS2Crew control panel with the PMDG 777. For some reasons, my microphone and my headset do not work anymore with P3D.
</p>

<p>
	When I try to switch from Voice to Button control by clicking the first button labelled Voice, P3D is stucked and I need to kill the process.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a way to switch from VOICE to BUTTON without crashing P3D or reinstalling FS2Crew?

<p>
	Hi guys, I would like to know if its possible a new option for landing.
</p>

<p>
	I am currently flying the 767 in real life and, in most of our approach we select flaps 15 or 20 before landing gear extension, as FCTM recommends:
</p>

<p>
	“Flap Configurations for Approach and Landing
</p>

<p>
	During maneuvering for an approach, when the situation dictates an earlier than normal speed reduction, the use of flaps 15 or flaps 20 with the gear up is acceptable.”
</p>

<p>
	is there any chance to creat an option to use this configuration? I use the button version, and every time I need to go to the fs2crew menu, select flaps 20, command flaps 20 and, go back to select gear down, it would be amazing if there is a selection in the briefing configuration just to select, not mention it on the app briefing, and use this late configuration, is that possible?
</p>

<p>
	By the way, FS2Crew is a must go for me in my flights, the immersion is so close to real life, congrats guys, nice job!
</p>

<p>
	Best regards,
</p>

<p>
	Thiago Pessanha.

<p>
	First of all I would like to thank the developers for the quick update to version P3d V5.<br />
	I have some wishes that would improve the software from my point of view:<br /><br />
	1. <strong>Please, please turn off the coughing and throat clearing of the co-pilot, it's just annoying and has absolutely no use. This is my most urgent wish.</strong><br />
	2. I have a monitor with a resolution of 3840x2160. At this resolution the FS2Crew main panel and also the other panels are too small.<br />
	I have solved this for me now so that I have enlarged all panels by a factor of 1.5.For example gauge00=FS2Crew777!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,2289,84. With this modification the panels are in a size that I can use.  With the panels for the FSLabs A320, the PMDG b748 or PMDG737NGXu I have no problem with the size, they are fine usable without further modification, maybe there will be a solution for the B777 in a future update.<br />
	3. it would be nice if the copilot would not switch my L INBD DU to FCTL during Before Taxi Flow. I think the copilot should only operate the LWR CTR and the R INBD DU and the FCTL side display is better displayed on the LWR CTR DU anyway in my opinion.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks again Stefan Liebe

<p>
	Hey there!
</p>

<p>
	On the new update, the built in checklist to the CTR Panel is not showing up while going through the flows. Not sure if this is just a setting I missed or if it's a bug with the new update.
</p>
