I can deactivate the ADF receivers in the aircraft-specific options but that doesn't make them disappear on the exterior model (the two little humps on top of the fuselage roughly in the middle). They should be removed if no ADF is equipped. You can check on many photos that they are not there, like here: https://www.planespotters.net/photo/1493777/a6-eqe-emirates-boeing-777-31her

I want to inquire about an effect that has long been existing in FS2Crew for the 777, at least for the last two years and already in P3Dv4: When you use ECL, once you call for the preflight checklist and it is opened by FS2Crew in the popup, it is not possible to change the left screen (normally ND for the Pilot) anymore. So e.g. it is not possible to show the Flight controls page in the left screen for the check before taxi. 

Of course it's not the end of the world but I wanted to ask if this is a know issue? I guess it is connected to FS2Crew calling the popup and filling out the ECL.

Summary of most common problems:

Problem:  During the install, I received an error message related to the Options Ini file.

Solution:

You have a write permission issue or you never ran the 777 at least once before installing FS2Crew.  The PMDG 777 Options.ini file is missing.

Run FSX/P3D with Admin rights.  Right click on the FSX/P3D.exe file in your main FSX/P3D folder and select "Always run as an administrator" in the Compatibility tab.

Then run the PMDG 777 one time and exit FS.  That will create the 777 Options.ini file.

Then re-install FS2Crew 777

Problem:  I can't open the downloaded zip file.

Solution:

Your download is corrupt.  It probably timed out.  Try downloading again later.  The file on the FS2Crew server is not corrupt.  The internet can sometimes be unstable, especially if you are in a remote location. If push comes to shove, try downloading from a different location, and saving the file to a thumb drive.

Problem:  Soft Mute Doesn't Stay On when I press my Joystick Button

Solution:

In the FSX Controls menu, make sure the "Repeat" slider for the associated event is set to full (full right).

Problem:  I assigned a button to open the FS2Crew Main Panel, and nothing happened.

Solution:

1. Did you 'enable' FS2Crew via the FS2Crew 777 Config Manager?

2. If so, are you running FSX with Admin rights?  If not, Windows may be 'blocking' the FS2Crew Config Manager from updating the 777's panel.cfg file with the FS2Crew entries.

3. If your 777 panel.cfg has FS2Crew entries on (you can open the 777 panel.cfg file with Notepad to check), then re-assign the FS2Crew open main panel button to a different key as you may have a conflict.  I use the "N" key personally.

4. You can also test if FS2Crew is on your panel.cfg file by opening the FS2Crew Main Panel via the 'Views -> Instrument Panels' option in the FSX menu.

5. Did you even assign the right button?  It's this one:

Problem:  I'm getting an SDK error message.

Solution:

See the Trouble Shooting section in the on-line manual for detailed info.

This is usually the result of not having the ultralight/trike as the default aircraft.  NEVER USED SAVED SITUATION FLIGHTS!  Even PMDG recommends against them.

Problem:  FSPassengers doesn't work.

Solution:

The 777 has the same problem as the NGX I'm afraid with FSPassengers.

Please send us a Support Ticket with your Order #.  We'll send you a modified panel.cfg file.

Problem:  I can't close the FS2Crew Main Panel.

Solution:

Press the LK button on the FS2Crew Main Panel to unlock it.  The panels are 'locked' open by default because otherwise they will automatically close anytime you change cameras.

Problem:  Where did the FS2Crew Config Panel go?

Solution:

Press the CFG button on the FS2Crew Main panel to cycle through all the various Config Options.  The Config Options are now built directly into the Main Panel display.

Problem:  I'm getting no Audio.

Solution:

1. Re-install FS2Crew.  DO NOT CLICK CANCEL DURING THE INSTALL!!!

2. Reboot your computer.

3. When you re-install, make sure no programs are running in the background.

4. If you want to use a headset, select the headset audio device on the CFG sub-screen (FS2Crew Main Panel - CFG button), then press HS on the FS2Crew Main Panel.

5. Update your Audio drivers. 

6. Send us a Support Ticket via: www.fs2crew.com

7. Ensure your USB devices aren't going "to sleep".

Problem:  I'm using P3D V4 and I'm having major voice recognition problems.

Solution:

1.Check your "Voice Capture" device in the P3D V4 audio options menu.  It can interfere.

Problem: In P3D V4, the FS2Crew window expands when I cycle between full screen and windowed mode.

Solution:

Open the 777 panel.cfg file with Notepad.

It's located here:

Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 777-200LR\panel\panel.cfg

Scroll down to "Window 20".

Delete this line:

Sizeable=0

You can do that for any other FS2Crew windows.

Could somebody please explain, if you know, what the proper voice command sequence(s) is/are to fully control the radios by voice.

I have ultrawide Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor. Default resolution : 5120 x 1440

Using latest Prepar3d5.2

All FS2Crew panels are oversizred.. Fonts blurry.

Maybe that  resolution is something what FS2Crew cant handle correctly ??

Problem I have very rarely is if I need to use a huffer to start her up because APU is inop it gets bit messy. Its all connected up but then auto removes chocks meaning I have to go through the whole disconnect/depart/put chock on/arrive/connect etc. 

Any ideas?

In setting up my approach I'm using the 777 EFB to calculate v speeds +5 knots.  During the descent flow, however, it looks like FS2Crew resets those v speeds.  Is there a setting to stop this?

Downloaded and installed 3.5 for the pmdg 777 and the interface window is now huge.

I made sure to disable then re enable in the configuration manager but the problem still persists.

Also can i suggest you give users the ability to click and drag to resize the windows?

When I change the view to external and come back to virtual cabin, the panel of FS2Crew flicking a lot. Is imposible to mantaining on the view becouse is very uncomfortable. Continue flicking until close P3Dv5.

• FO will turn on landing lights (should they have been turned off during the After Takeoff flow) after a Go Around on a 2nd approach after you call for gear down.
• Fixed a typo in the installer that referred to the Majestic Dash 8 instead of the PMDG 777 if the PMDG 777 host aircraft was not installed correctly.

• Takeoff flap setting in the Before Taxi now determined by your Voice Command, rather than the takeoff flap setting selected on the Brief Panel.
• During the Flight Controls check, the FO will move the Flight Controls page to the Captain's PFD.
• FO Before Takeoff Flow:  FO will now set Terrain and Weather on his side as briefed.

When I try to switch from Voice to Button control by clicking the first button labelled Voice, P3D is stucked and I need to kill the process.

Is there a way to switch from VOICE to BUTTON without crashing P3D or reinstalling FS2Crew?

I am currently flying the 767 in real life and, in most of our approach we select flaps 15 or 20 before landing gear extension, as FCTM recommends:

“Flap Configurations for Approach and Landing

During maneuvering for an approach, when the situation dictates an earlier than normal speed reduction, the use of flaps 15 or flaps 20 with the gear up is acceptable.”

is there any chance to creat an option to use this configuration? I use the button version, and every time I need to go to the fs2crew menu, select flaps 20, command flaps 20 and, go back to select gear down, it would be amazing if there is a selection in the briefing configuration just to select, not mention it on the app briefing, and use this late configuration, is that possible?

By the way, FS2Crew is a must go for me in my flights, the immersion is so close to real life, congrats guys, nice job!
