FS2CREW: PMDG 777

Hi, I have : - FS2Crew: PMDG 777 (Voice and Button Control) - A wireless headset: Logitech Wireless Headset H800 I can hear the FS2Crew voices on only one of the speaker of my headset. Please note that I can hear correctly FSX and the PMDG 777 sounds on both speakers. Any idea or advice please?

Brian, I am having this issue: if I create a custom panel state (for instance another cold and dark panel state with ALL switches to OFF) and load it after the default panel state has loaded, and then I launch FS2Crew, the FO will not perform the power up and the rest of the flows (i.e. he says the welcome phrase to the captain but then nothing else happens). If I quit FSX restart again and leave the default C&D then everything works fine. Is there a particular reason for this ? I was assuming that FS2Crew worked well also with non default panels states. What is important as outlined also in the manual is that FSX is started with the default flight. Thanks for c…

Hi. For some reason my FO dose not turn PAKS to AUTO. FO is suppose to turn PACKS to AUTO during FO's Pre-Flight flow but she never does regardless of configuration in CFG panel and CDU menu. I always have to turn PACKS myself. Thx

Hi all, I reinstalled FS2crew recently and I see that the Windows are listed in the panel.cfg for the 777 as 20-24 yet when I scroll through it stops at the last PMDG 777 window 19. Everything else is enabled and installed, any ideas? maybe a reinstall I'm guessing thanks!

Hi all, first off I can't tell you how much I love this product! easliy one of my favorite FS add ons, had it for the MD-11 and thought it was brilliant. I only have two issues that I can really see at this point but I'm sure I'm doing something wrong: 1. Is there any additional configuration areas for PA announcments (Flight Attendent messages like safety announcement, cruise (movies), decent and arrival? the reason is when I land I get the "Ladies and Gentlemen...blah blah" as I slow down, but when I exit the runway it starts again and I suddenly have two flight attendents in a chorus of the same message. I am elderly, but that's a weak excuse. When I have the Main Panel up and I select cfg mode I just can't get out of it, How to I cancel config.... the button doen't seem to do it. Second, if I start with engines running how do I get Crew to jump briefings to the pre-taxi briefing or do I just have to scroll through them all?

Hello. Quick question for everyone here. I recently upgraded to a UHD monitor, and am really loving how FSX SE looks. However, when I fired up my PMDG 777 today, I noticed that the FS2Crew window does not resize correctly. Well, the window does, but the checklist stage, and timers are cutoff about halfway. I've been using the product for some time and have been having loving it. However, I have one issue with the 'after Landing flow'. When departing the runway after landing the FO doesn't select his WxR mode to OFF. He/She goes through all of the relevant checks and flows for after landing. Just doesn't select the mode to off. I manually select my side off every time. This happens when I select the briefing option to wxr or none, or when I manual select it to WxR for Terr in flight. Thanks.

Hi, Loving FS2Crew for the 777! :smile: One thing I noticed, having recently used both FS2Crew for the NGX and the AS Airbuses, with the 777, during the climbout actions the F/O doesn't offer to engage the autopilot for me? Is this an intentional move? Do most SOPs for the 777 dictate that the PF engages the AP him/herself ? Thanks. EDIT: Sorry! Found the answer in the manual eventually - PF engages AP himself.

Hello, When I use option: 777 FORCE ECL PANEL CLOSED = NO - everything works just fine and the EFB checklist screen pop's up when the FO does a checklist! But when I choose option: 777 FORCE ECL PANEL CLOSED = YES- because I don't want the screen to pop up, strange thing's happen! The FO start's the checklist and his speech corresponds to the right checklist at that moment, but when looking at the EFB screen the checklist does not corresponds to the right checklist at that moment! Hi Bryan & all, I purchased FS2Crew for the 777 yesterday and am really enjoying it. (I'm a preferer of Button Control BTW). I noticed in the CFG screen there is an option to set "AEROLOGIC 777" to YES; I searched the manual but could not find any information on what this setting is about, or does. (Not had time to test it yet). Could you give some explanation on what this setting does? many thanks

Bryan, during a go around (voice mode), after the captain says "go around", the FO replies "go around" and right after "positive rate", when the rate of climb is not positive, yet. This makes me think that the SDK doesn't allow to know if the rate is in fact positive or not. Is it possible to delay the "positive rate" some 5 seconds, so that the captain has the time to say "flaps 20" before the copilot aknowledges positive rate? The sequence should be: PF: go around PNF: go around PF: flaps 20 PNF: flaps 20 PNF: positive rate PF: gear up (PNF: gear up). Thank you!

Hello all I recently noticed the "nadp" setting in the briefing. What does that do? I remember, in the 737 it actually changed the commands after takeoff (level change etc). However, in the 777, I don't notice anything. Probably untrue, but still . Any advice on usage? Vkr Victor

Hi Bryan, With P3D2.5 installed, I am having problems getting sufficient VAS to cope with detailed airports. Is it possible to disable RAAS within PMDG777? How can this be achieved? How much VAS relief will be gained?

I am not a real pilot thus my question is if PA announcement in cargo plane make sense ? Also i doubt that guys in cargo planes have ladies to serve food and drinks Correct me if i am wrong.

Hello I really really enjoy the new fs2crew, however, I always encounter one problem. Approach checklist is started at Trans level right? Eham (schiphol) it is sometimes at 045 ft. This results in a very late command (talking about button control) to be able to lower the flaps, which usually is too late, cause I get past the up speed then already. Is this my mistake, and if so, how can I fixit? Or a thing with the button control?. Vkr Victor

Hi. I am having some trouble with my PMDG 777-300 Ops Center. Well, the Ops center is working fine but it keeps telling me there are updates available for the 777-300. But when I click on "UPDATE" it gives me this message: PMDG ecommerce Customers To update to this version, you must download the full installer from your account at PMDG ecommerce website. Then it tells me what to do once I get there. I have an account with PMDG, But don't know if it is a "eCommerece" account. At any rate when I try to go there, there is no "full installer" there that the message is telling me to download. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Keep 'Em Flying! Thanks …
